Residence Inn By Marriott Panama City

Our room was very very spacious, larger than just about any hotel I've been in. Staff are very cooperative and helpful, like most Panamanian workers. Front desk staff are all fluent in English but pretty much all the other staff don't speak any English. Breakfast is nice and they have a "Kosher Korner" for guests who keep kosher. We spoke to hotel management about it being mostly snacks (we were there for 3 weeks), and they got us bread and other kosher items. Pool on the top floor is nice for lap swimming and available long hours. Laundry machines are provided too (with about 1 free wash/dry per week), though the laundry room was unbearably hot when dryers were running.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a building with a shopping mall, large food store, & food court. The room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was great every day. The staff were friendly & engaging. I would definitely recommend this hotel & would stay here again.

I stayed at Residence Inn by Marriott Panama and found the location extremely convenient. The hotel is directly connected to Pacific Center mall, making it very easy to access restaurants, shops, and daily necessities. One thing to note is that the reception is located on the 4th-floor sky lobby, which may be a little confusing at first. The gym and outdoor swimming pool are both located on the top floor, and the rooftop offers a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. The rooms are spacious and feel more like serviced apartments, with complete facilities that are suitable for both short and long stays. One downside is that the hotel surprisingly does not provide complimentary drinking water in the rooms. However, if you cannot find a place nearby to buy water, you can get some at the gym area upstairs. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with great convenience and nice views.

We stayed at this hotel on March 21–23, 2026. The property is amazing, with a spacious lobby, very large rooms, and a great swimming pool offering incredible views. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast, which was 10/10. Complimentary coffee was also available in the lobby throughout the day. What made our stay truly 11/10 was the exceptional service provided by the staff. I would especially like to highlight David Shirley. He was professional, friendly, and very attentive to detail. I came from Canada with my boyfriend, who was born in Panama but left when he was a baby. David prepared a very thoughtful amenity for us, including souvenirs from Panama, and kindly explained the history of the Panamanian flag. As hospitality employees ourselves, we were deeply touched by his gesture. Moments like these are what make us love this industry and enjoy staying at hotels. We would definitely come back. Alina B.
