Hotel Casa Panama

Location is great and the shower was really good. The room looks nice, but it's quite small. The biggest problem was the air quality inside the room - it smells horrible and mouldy. Not worth the price.

1 receptacle in the bedroom behind the bed, 1 in the bathroom and 1 in the entry way, to small to be called a hall. Everyone carries electronics now days and they need access to power to charge them! Lights so dim you can barely see. HVAC is cool but I see no access to controls. Noisy as heck, wide open techno party 1 floor up (the roof) until approximately 2:00 AM in the morning then all you hear is noise as the get ready for the next days party. No access to the pool on weekends. If you are a light sleeper this is one place you may wish to avoid! Elevator is large enough for two people and light luggage. Third floor access is by reservation only without it you will be turned away from access!! Locks on doors are suspect as I feel you could turn with a little roughness and walk in to our room! Other than that it is very near Casco Viejo! Any food source near, other than markets are expensive. Bottled water $3.00. In local markets $0.30 for same water and maybe colder! Balboa beer $3.00+, local markets $1.50! If I can return later I will add pictures. I may add a TikTok link later when the party starts overhead! It is the same property so they do have control of it! Construction noise in the area directly above our room at all hours of the night!

If I could place a 0 star review this place would get it. As soon as we arrived to the room, we noticed that there was an issue with the wooden balcony door. It was dragging by the cement floor, hard to close. We sat in the balcony, and when we went back in the room we tried to close the balcony door and it snapped. The wood and glass shattered, and when it snapped the weight of the door fell forward. It almost cut one of us. It almost crushed us. The hotel guest service was rude and blamed us for the accident. They may seem fancy but lack proper care for their rooms. The hotel staff was beyond lout, rude and disrespectful to us, jumping to conclusions blaming us for the accident that none of us couldn’t have prevented. We only tried to close the balcony door to our room for our own safety and it shattered. We were thankfully unharmed. Guest safety should be a priority and the hotel staff made it feel like our safety was not their priority and blamed us for their poorly cared for architecture. We left to another place after this. -0/5

We had a fine time not sure why all the hate. No noise but it was a Monday night. Friendly service. Cute hotel. Very slightly musty. Main issue is blinds in room left little gaps unless adjusted perfectly. But good location and value (we paid 70). Would stay again.
