Our daughter was getting marry and the choices for the wedding were San Francisco , Chicago , New York City, London and Panama
Thank God Panama won. The American Trade Hotel went over what we expected. The staff, the atmosphere, the location, the service were all above the 5 Star rating
I would give it a 10!
We had 100 guest flying in from America and Europe. Each one of them loved the place !
Security was excellent too!
And Best of all the cost factor was way lower than what we were willing to pay!
I live in Panama and New York and know most hotel and I can’t say enough about this place

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and so elegant. Five star service. I loved the decor. The shower was huge with amazing water pressure. Close to all the sights and great restaurants in Casco Viejo. Our balcony faced the church. Bells would ring starting at 7am but it didn’t bother us. I would stay here again!
Stumbled on this gem of a property while searching for breakfast. The property is beautifully appointed and well designed for dining with views of the plaza. The staff was attentive and professional...the manager herself was very warm, helpful and welcoming. I ordered the yucca and beef tenderloin on horseback from the brunch menu and hazelnut cappuchino and fresh pineapple juice. The food was solid. The yucca fries were excellently done. Elements of the tenderloin dish could have been presented differently for greater flavour however the dish was still solid. Overall a good choice. Choose this place if you want something more than a coffee shop experience
Incredibly nice hotel, very clean, luxurious, and a fantastic location. The rooms are so spacious and have all the amenities you may need. The food is tasty!

The only thing that bothered me quite a bit was unfortunately the very loud noise from a party that was hosted on the Saturday I arrived at 2 pm, lasting till 22:30. The floors in my room were shaking from the music. As someone very jetlagged at the time, this definitely put a damper on my first arrival in Panama.
We were apprehensive when we were told that our original choice of hotel was not available due to a conference. The reviews said it was noisy and that the cathedral bells rang all day. Well, we were in room 310 and we were right beside the cathedral and it did not bother us at all. They stop ringing around 10:00pm. We are early risers though. There were two jazz concerts while we were there and we did not hear anything. Our room was very close to the pool which was wonderful. We took advantage of the proximity.
The hotel is extremely well located. So many restaurants available by foot. Service was excellent. Employees were friendly and efficient at reception and in the restaurant for breakfast. The breakfasts were very good and their cappuccinos were wonderful. The fruit juice was delicious.
The television in the room was great and they had a great selection of channels. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Casco viejo.
