Pamukkale: Sunrise Balloon Flight Above Travertines & Ruins

The experience was incredible! Murat, the organiser, is very helpful. All of the staff - the driver, ground crew and pilot - were very friendly. The views from the balloon over the Travertines were amazing and I felt very safe at all times.

Because of the wind, we were a bit nervous at first, thinking that we wouldn't be able to fly, but later, we were able to fly, Ozgur the pilot was excellent.

Wonderful views and experience with a great service and team - we had a once in a life time moment!!! Highly recommended!

We had our flight early in the morning to watch the sunrise . The service and the flight were perfect ; pick up from our hotel , little take away breakfast , coffee before the flight and a glass of champagne on arrival . The correspondence was also very clear and through WhatsApp, perfect ! I strongly recommend.

It's a once in a lifetime experience! Worth every penny. Bought via Klook. Kind and helpful Mr Mert from Tourmania arranged our trip! Initially our departure was scheduled in the second trip after sunrise but he managed to reschedule to the 1st early departure, and also agreed to drop us off at a different location from pick-up point so that we could meet up with our tour group. The driver was helpful - contacted my tour guide to make sure we're able to catch up with them at the correct spot. The pilot Mr Blunte has more than 20yrs experiences. He explained everything and the rules in a simple way. His landing was meticulous. The whole crew was professional. Overall, a 100% tiptop ride.

Having a hot air balloon ride is a truly fascinating experience, and Pamukkale is a great place to have it. Although some things could have arranged in a way I would like more (I felt there was a bit too much a mass tourism vibe) the experience was beautiful and good value price, and I would suggest others to take the ride!

Booked last minute and Giray immediately contacted me to arrange a pick up. We stayed a bit out of pamukkale and this was not a problem. The flight was around 40min and was very professional. Beautiful and Calm.They took a 360' video available for purchase after. Highly recommended this balloon company.

When you see the hot air balloon pics on the internet, it feels awe-inspiring and your mind wonders what if you were there. Well let me tell you that the pictures doesn’t even do justice to the whole experience. The magical feeling of rising in the air and the wind brushing up against your face. It’s truly a once in a lifetime experience. The tour guide we had the day before said the hot air balloons were cancelled for consecutive days because of the wind, so we were a bit worried the night before we flew. Thankfully, the weather agreed and we were able to push through. The basket was stable and the pilots were very experience. We had just landed and we are still on a high! Don’t hesitate, make your dream a reality. Book this tour now.

It was one of the funniest experiences in my life. From the pre-flight operations to the landing it was all perfect and wonderful to see. The balloon flight was more comfortable than I thought and the landscape with the cotton castle seen from the above is something thet left me breathless. All the crew members were very kind. I took the largest amount of pictures in the shortest time of my life.

Once the time for pickup was communicated (night before by WhatsApp) we arrived promptly at reception and waited, our pickup was late by about 20 mins. However we were excited about the experience and moved on. Got to the balloon spent good 30-40 minutes watching that, when all of a sudden they whisked us off to another balloon that was overcrowded and told us to get into that, being the last ones there the present people looked angry and we weren’t happy. He then proceed to tell everyone that we were last minute, this is completely unacceptable, in the end they removed us from that balloon and took us back to the original one we were watching being inflated. The messing around, and dangerous driving made this experience start very badly. However once up in the air (further delays as they squeezed 2 more in our basket last minute) the experience was amazing, so serene, I would recommend people to do hot air ballooning but maybe not with this company. At the end there was an attempt to sell a video of our day for $100, insane and needless to say NO ONE took that offer up. During our flight I found out that the company had overcharged me £40 per person so total (3 people) £120. If you get there and book next day you will get it cheaper and significantly better experience (based off others we spoke to), DO NOT book with this company in advance, or even at all

For many years I had the illusion of going up in a balloon and expectations have been far exceeded. I think you have to go up in a balloon at least once in your life. The organization is good. They gave me an hour to pick me up and I had to leave earlier, I requested it and they didn't give me any problems.

Great experience from start to end. The pilot did a great job, ensuring we had spectacular views, a great take off and landing as well. When up in the air, you felt completely safe, the thought of how high you are or a fear of heights isn't something that easily came to mind, you will feel at ease and just soak up the surroundings.

It was good almost everything, except that we were almost 20 people in the balloon, so we were squeezed and for me who was in the back it was difficult to take good pictures... Besides, I found out that there are much cheaper flights in Pamukkale (but that is not their fault, I should have searched better). Apart from that, flight was good, pilots were kind and good, spoke good English and explained us quite a few things. They were punctual and the flight took 55 min which is good too.

This was the highlight of my trip in Turkey! I never thought I would take this adventure. I’m glad I did. Thanks to TSC Travel for making this alternative place to to this. We were suppose to go to Cappadocia, however the weather was not that friendly so TSC Travel made the necessary changes for us , just so we could experience this type of activity while we’re there. We arrived at the starting point very early in the morning. Our coach ride picked us up from our hotel at 6 am. We reached the site at around 6:45 am. Just at sunrise our balloon made the ascent. It was so smooth! The scenery was so lovely. It took about an hour and a half on the air. We flew around the travertine, hills, lakes , the balloon base even made it very close to the lake! How exciting was that! Of course we took loads of photos. Not only that the ride was great, but more so the pilot and his crew. They were helpful and friendly. At the end of the ride, we were greeted with a toast of champagne! This is highly recommended. A must ! When you go to Turkey! Cheers!

A baloon ride at Pamukkale is a fantastic experiente, and the ride itself would be 5* all the way if it was not for a minor detail. The gentleman do not sort and organize people on the baloon compartments before the trip. When it comes to boarding the baloon, it’s everyone for himself. The result for me: we were a family of 6. I understand we coluld not be in the same compartment - no problems with that. But in the messy boarding I had to stay in the totally opposite compartment from my family, completely separated from them. In that baloon we were 20 passengers in 4 compartments, 5 in each. The baloon has a central compartment with the pilot and the gas torch, and 2 compartments in each side. We were a group of 10 Portuguese and there was another group of 10 Chinese. The Chinese just run to the baloon and entered 2 opposite compartments, 1 each side of the central compartment. And I was separated from my family when all it took was pre-arrangement so that the Portuguese would enter one side of the baloon and the Chinese the other side. That would have been totally fine. So, a 5* experience stained by an 1* organization.

Very nice pilot and team to do this activity. Early in the morning you will enjoy excelent views and you will finish cheering all together. With a coffee before go up to sky, it would be perfect (it says its included but really no)

My family enjoyed this flight and felt safe at all times. Take off and landing excellent. We had young kids and elderly parents with us.

It 'was a unique emotion starting from the preparation to fly the hot air balloon at first light, to rise slowly and then start flying higher and higher and admire spectacular panoramas.The most beautiful show for me, however, was the one provided by the dozens of hot air balloons that moved slowly on the horizon.A unique feeling.

A very nice experience at sunrise. We pick you up at the Inn with a shuttle and take you to the site where dozens of hot air balloons are inflated in front of you in a joyful mess. At first we worry a little but the atmosphere quickly becomes exceptional when all the balloons stand proudly towards the sky. Smooth take-off for 45 minutes above the site of hierapolis and limestone pools. You land skillfully in a field and drink a fake champagne without alcohol before receiving your flight certificate.

Nos gustó pero quedamos muy decepcionados porque el señor que manejaba el globo, no nos contaba nada de los lugares sobre los que estábamos ni nos respondía las preguntas sobre los lugares, hablamos en inglés para otras cosas pero para esas cosas puntuales no.

Since we couldn't fly due to bad weather conditions, we flew into Pamukkale. Obviously it is not the same as doing it over the chimneys of the fairies but still, it has a lot of charm to see the thermal pools, the amphitheater and above all, the sunrise. Don't miss it.

Go ahead that I was except with this practice, and so I discarded it in Kapocia, but when I woke up one morning in Pamukkale and saw them upstairs spotting the Roman theater and the white fountains, do not hesitate, and it was an unforgettable experience, from the first moment (as they swell, prepare and plan the balloon launch) until when you land gently ... but in any unpredictable place, which gives a slight touch of adventure and risk (all controlled) really is an expensive but indelible experience.

Beautiful experience, the Enterprise we hired was very respectful of the schedules, and with great care and respect towards the passengers / customers. In our opinion, taking advantage of the view over the cotton fields and the ruins of Hierapolis makes it a better option than the trip in Cappadocia. We do not list it excellent for the cost, we find it high even considering the deployment of people, amortization of equipment and insurance.

Lamentablemente la realidad no se corresponde con lo que se ofrece. En la descripción de la actividad se menciona que habrá un desayuno de café, te y aperitivos antes de subir a bordo: en nuestro caso, no hubo nada. Se anuncia en idioma español: ni una palabra. Y sobre todo, las fotografías y la descripción de la actividad que se hace en la página web reflejan que "volará lentamente sobre las piscinas de blanco travertino de Pamukkale y las ruinas de Hierápolis". Las piscinas las observamos a bastante distancia, cuando, de los 20 globos que volaron ese mismo día, hubo unos pocos que sí se posaron prácticamente encima: el nuestro no. Las ruinas de Hierápolis apenas las puedes vislumbrar. Eso sí, si lo que buscas únicamente es un "bautizo" de vuelo en globo, sí puede servirte éste. De lo contrario no lo recomiendo.
