We did the Ghost tour this week with Jeremy. The group was small (just me and my friend) which allowed for a more personalized/chatty tour. The tour went on for longer than planned as we were enjoying it so much and Jeremy was incredibly knowledgeable. Thanks for a great introduction to Oxford!

Fantastic location. Great accommodation. Would recommend. Room 1 gives you access to the most perfect morning coffee view.
Guide was an excellent presenter and knew his subject without notes. Was really interesting. Highly recommended
This tour was very enjoyable. The guide, Ali, was knowledgeable and passionate which made the experience more fun. We did not meet any ghosts unfortunately, but we did experience some strange lighting issues in a laneway that is allegedly the site of the most paranormal activity. 😊 Real or contrived, who knows, but it was fun.
Knowledgeable guide. Fascinating stories about the history of Oxford, the ghostly history and of famous Oxford alumni. We really enjoyed the tour.
This was the most exciting, the best experience ever! The guide was very knowledgeble and shared many interesting facts and stories that happenned in Oxford. The evening was epic, very entertaining and inspirational. I highly reccomend it!
We had a great time learning about all the haunts around Oxford and the literature that goes along with a lot of those stories. Definitely a fun time.
Very good guide, wirh amusing and interesting stories, but not a ghost tour really. Oxford has very few ghosts! I'd still recommend it.
Overall good experience. Tom our host was informative, informed and delivered many helpful insights into Oxfords spiritual and supernatural related events and experiences. The tour perhaps would have been more atmospheric at dusk and perhaps benefited from a little ghostly magic?. We had been working on the proviso the tour would last 90 mins and return to The Bridge of Sighs. We were however left early on the High Street to navigate our onward journey. As I say overall good yet our experience seemed a little curtailed and discursive versus interactive and more memorable.
Not a 100% ghost tour. Go after dark for a better experience. Wear comfortable walking shoes as roads and paths are cobbled.
We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Oxford Ghost Walking Tour! From start to finish, everything was brilliant. Booking was easy thanks to the lovely and incredibly helpful Stewart, who made the whole process so welcoming. Our guide, Alex, was outstanding—engaging, knowledgeable, and a fantastic storyteller. He brought Oxford's history to life with fascinating tales and just the right amount of spooky atmosphere. It was creepy enough to be exciting but never too scary, making it perfect for families. The kids had sooo much fun and were completely captivated the whole way through. We all learned so much about Oxford's history while being thoroughly entertained. If you're looking for a fun, informative, and memorable evening in Oxford, I couldn't recommend this ghost tour more highly. Huge thanks to Stewart and Alex for making it such a wonderful experience!
Very good experience with a summer school group. Tour guide Alex was fantastic and very knowledgeable about all the history of Oxford and the ghosts associated with it!
Ali was an excellent guide and very informative, including insights into student life. Entertaining way to learn about some of the history and ghostly happenings in Oxford.
It was a very educational and fascinating experience! We weren't sure what to expect, but we were all extremely entertained. And, we learned a lot about Oxford's history along the way! Our guide was also great. He told stories very well!
Quite scary walk through the city of Oxford! The guide went through much of Oxfords history and also included some details from the worlds of Tolkien and Lewis which we greatly appreciated.
This was a great tour of the city with so many interesting facts and landmarks pointed out. Simon was a great tour guide and clearly showed his passion for the city. It is worth doing as a first activitie as it really helps you find your way around
Our guide was fabulous -energetic, fun, patient with our questions and observations, with a love for the history of Oxford and all it's delicious, extraordinary details. Highly recommend!

A truly entertaining and excellent tour that brought the past back to life! Eleanor was a first-class guide, who presented her content in a memorable and exciting way. Her story - telling skills were first rate, and the tales she told, were related enthusiastically and in great detail. It was a thoroughly interesting tour, told in an exciting and intriguing way. Well done, Eleanor! We enjoyed the tour immensely!
Interesting and informative piece of Oxford history Learned about locations in Oxford while hearing interesting stories of ghosts
Chose this tour as it ran on a weekday, allowed younger kids and didn’t start too late. Really glad we did. Eleanor was personable and engaging and really brought the gruesome stories to life with a bit of historical trivia along the way too. Kept 2 children ( and adult) fully entertained.
We were fortunate enough to have Kate as our tour guide. She arrived early to check everyone in and the tour started on time. We were given clear instructions on where to meet. The tour was full of incredible ghost stories and historical anecdotes. We learned of famous authors dubious bars and plenty of spooky stories. Walking through the streets of Oxford is an amazing historical event. Kate's guidance and lively stories kept us engaged for the entire tour. Thank you for a lovely introduction to Oxford!
Tour guide was prompt to start and enthusiastic all the way through with great knowledge of the area and brilliant story teller
This is a very good ghost walk that blends the history of Oxford with thought- provoking tales. Simon knows Oxford very well.
Our guide Eleanor was fascinatingly morbid with accounts of the various forms of death that was inflicted on past residents of Oxford!
