Excellent way to tour Oxford. The game was fun and took in loads of sights and hidden gems. Easy to follow instructions really enhanced our day out.

We had had been recommended by a friend to do this as they had had such a lovely day and we weren’t disappointed. What we loved about it was the flexibility of time and that it took us to places that we have not seen before or looked at in detail before. We peppered the walk with bars and restaurants and the clues sparked lots of conversations. We liked the hints as one clue flummoxed us !! It was really lovely would def recommend for grown ups like us or families

We had an excellent time doing this treasure hunt. We had two teenagers with us and it managed to keep them engaged, which is a tough challenge these days. We needed a hint or two but once we had those it was easy enough to answer the clues. Nicely interactive and very well thought through ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We did the Oxford Treasure Hunt as something to do for my husband's birthday with our older kids. Was great fun & we got to see parts of Oxford that we wouldn't have seen without doing the Treasure Hunt. Booking was simple & the clues were great, hard enough to make you actually look & take in your surroundings but easy enough that you weren't spending too long on each one or wanting to give up. Plenty of opportunities to pause throughout to stop for coffee or lunch, all in all a fantastic day was had by all Definitely recommend, plan on doing other cities now too as its a great way of sight seeing

Great fun for a family day out in our home city. We all enjoyed exploring areas off the beaten track. Would highly recommend for a fun day out with grown up kids.

We had never previously been to Oxford and this was an excellent way to explore the city and learn some interesting facts about it. The treasure hunt was the right amount of time the clues weren’t too difficult but encouraged you to have a really good look around the area. The hidden pub just after the halfway point was an excellent choice for lunch.

Fun little treasure hunt, but absolutely no need to book per person, excessively expensive for what it is. Slight hitch for us when one of the clues was hidden because the building was closed for a graduation. The ai assistant was unable to adjust to skip it for us.

Really enjoyed this alternative tour of Oxford for a birthday activity. The app worked well and it’s something anyone could do as long as they read the clues closely and keep their eyes peeled.

60th Birthday party of ladies thoroughly enjoyed the tour! It took us round some fantastic places, and to be able to stop and start at our leisure was great. We would recommend to anyone.

We really loved our Treasure Hunt around Oxford. My daughter and I know and love Oxford well, but wanted to do something a little different for her birthday, and the Treasure Hunt was the perfect thing. It took us to places we'd never been before and stumbled across little alleyways and locations that were total surprises. The clues were not too difficult, but not so easy for us to be able to complete them straightaway. We had to think and look around. Would highly recommend this for a day out :-)

A college friend and I visited Oxford this week and were choosing between this and more traditional tours. We thought this would be a unique way to explore the city, and it certainly was. The entire process was straightforward: each stop includes directions to the starting point, then a riddle to solve in order to find the correct answer. We are both adventurous gals who enjoy history, travel and challenges, and we found that the scavenger hunt was just the right level of challenge. Guided by "Bess," we wandered through the streets of Oxford, enjoying small details of the city that we'd otherwise have missed along the way. The fun facts about the city whet our appetites for further exploration and learning. All said: we highly recommend the experience. Children would love it, too--just plan to take a little longer and stop at a local shop or two along the way for refreshments to sustain their energy.

The Oxford Treasure Hunt was a really fun activity for our team building day. We got to see lots of interesting things around the City, and solving the clues turned into a real team event. I would highly recommend this activity.

What a great day in Oxford. Our annual team get together. Such good fun and great way to see Oxford. Fantastic value for money and game works seamlessly. Although you can get through the clues in a couple of hours, I'd say take longer as lots to see and plenty of photo opportunities. Perfect for a team bonding event! Highly recommended.

Our group had a great time in Oxford with this scavenger hunt - even our local guests learned a few things! We had a larger group and could share the link. You’ll need full charged phones and Internet access to be successful.

We were expecting it might be a bit Oxford arrogant but it wasn’t at all. It was humorous and good fun and we found ourselves in some of the back streets we might not have explored.

From tucked-away alleyways to quirky bits of history, the route was packed with hidden gems. It was wonderfully flexible, so we could take our time, stop for coffee and lunch, and enjoy the sights at our own pace. It was the perfect way to explore the city together—fun, engaging, and something a bit different from the usual tourist attractions. Highly recommend for families looking for a unique and memorable day out. A real highlight of our visit—we’ll be talking about those clues (and who solved what!) for a long time to come!

We only had a few hours available to see some of the sites at Oxford. I was with my 2 kids (boy age 18 and girl age 16) and it was great fun…. you see loads, and particularly of interest to my kids are the Harry Potter sites. What makes it better is that you do the tour at your own pace. So if you come across a place or monument you want to explore for a longer period of time or it is something you just come across by chance you can, and you’re not interrupting the tour or hindering anyone else’s experience. I highly recommend 😀

Honestly the best way to experience the city. We wander round at our own pace and the riddles take us places that we never would've gone without this treasure hunt! The pub/food recommendations are always top notch as well!

This is an excellent way to explore Oxford. Not only does it take you past major landmarks, but it also takes you off the beaten track, allowing you to discover some hidden gems that a standard day of tourist meandering would miss. The clues are pitch perfect, a bit of a challenge, but not too cryptic. The little details that the game forces you to seek out, along with the backstory the app provides, really enhance your appreciation of a beautiful and historic city. Everyone in our party really enjoyed the entire experience. Great value for money. Recommended.

Had a great visit to Oxford, paying for this took us around many of the key sights, taught us a thing or two about the history along the way alongside getting you to look for things you might just walk past if not for this game! It was a good way to explore the city, was flexible in us starting/stopping.. we were even were able to continue with the final couple of clues the next day. The fact that there was a couple of pubs on the route was a lovely addition. Would I recommend, yes, absolutely. Note: I personally don't think this is a replacement for a guided tour, but as way to get your bearings around the city in a really fun way (if you did think about doing both, would recommend doing this first).

I booked this for my husband's birthday as something different to do. We absolutely loved it, such fun and a great way to see some of the best bits of Oxford. It took us about 2 hours to complete but we were ambling along enjoying the weather and sights. The clues weren't too tricky, but you do have to work for them. We are going to do another one in the summer holidays with our children, as they will love it too.

Absolutely brilliant. Right level of difficulty- not too easy but all clues solvable and a scenic route through Oxford pointing out landmarks. Lunch stop thoughtfully built in. If you don’t want to use the recommended pub then the cafe at the Bodleian is also nearby. Excellent value for money.

Great few hours spent on this Hunt around Oxford. Kept two teanagers and older siblings happy and amused as well as walking the dog. A fabulous lunch half way helped us push through to the end. Would definitely recommend this as a way of seeing the city without wandering aimlessly or joining a long - often too long - tour as we could go at our pace and linger when we wanted.

Used this as a guided tour around Oxford with my other half. We got to see way more than expected without having to be a part of a tour group. It was great to have our own time to stop at pubs and tourist attractions - some of which were recommended by the app. I would recommend this to anyone!

The views were beautiful and for anyone who's not been to Oxford before, this is a innovative way to a discovery journey! Be prepared for a lot of walking. Great way to see Oxford with a teenager! The treasure hunt kept us all engaged for the better part of a day. The clues were relatively straightforward but still required some peering around, which also helped us engage with Oxford students and other locals. And since we walked through much of the historic district, it was easy to sneak in some additional sights, food, etc. All in all it was a very successful family adventure.

We had a great time exploring Oxford. We used it as a guide so we wouldn't miss any highlights. Saved us researching before going.

Good fun, we really enjoyed it and it was a great way to familiarise ourselves with the centre of Oxford. The treasure hunt takes you around the main sights and forces you to look about you! The clues are straight forward without being too easy, and all the instructions are clear. You also get extra nuggets of random information here and there which is interesting. You play the game just in a browser on your phone, without needing to install any apps or give any permissions. It's flexible, so we started in the morning then did our own thing and returned to it later in the afternoon. Highly recommended!

A fun way to see Oxford - we really enjoyed this treasure hunt! My husband used to live in Oxford but hadn’t ever done the touristy stuff, so it was fun to go back and follow these clues around the city. It’s not too far and takes just under 2 hours, but we stopped for a cheeky drink in the Turf Tavern towards the end :-) Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed this. the trail takes you around caress of Oxford you would possibly miss. The clues are brilliant, don’t click the hints as you will work the answer out in the end! It took around 2.5 hrs at a slow pace and a lunch stop, I did 10,000 steps to give you an idea on distance

Wonderful way to wander around Oxford, visiting all of the important areas but also some lesser know nooks, all at our own pace. There are some places we would never have found had it not been for our tour. The questions are pitched just right… you do need an attention to detail and to read the clues carefully… but that’s all part of the fun. Highly recommended!

An excellent, cheap way to see unusual quirky features around Oxford. Interesting historical nuggets of info given in an interesting way. Only hassle we had was lack of network connection during second half of trail. Important for other team members to have the link to continue the experience.

The concept and execution were great. In spite of heavy downpours throughout the day we managed to enjoy ourselves and complete the treasure hunt successfully.
