We booked the Oxford walking Tour and it was the highlight of our visit to Oxford. Our guide Simon was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history of the university to life with great stories. We saw beautiful colleges, hidden alleyways, and learned so much more than we would have on our own.
Tour guide Simon, was absolutely fantastic, had a lot of knowledge and was an interesting story teller. Absolutely recommend for everyone! Superb choice!
An excellent experience. 90 mins packed full of fascinating information about the university colleges, the history of the city of Oxford and the architecture. Very witty and amusing quips by our tour guide and we got to see some hidden gems that are not accessible without going on the tour 👍
Our guide was very knowledgeable of Oxford University and surrounding history. We veryuch enjoyed the tour!

An excellent tour and real value for money Jeremy our guide was excellent with incredible knowledge that was not only very informative but he made it fun aswell Would highly recommend
An amazing insight into Oxford University and structure of its College system. The College and Library Buildings visited along with the exceptional historical commentary from Simon gave a real insight to the history from its origins century until present day. The history of the Lectern in Bailliol College is one to remember!
Jeremy very informative and entertaining. Provided depth and detail to the coty and its history. Would definitely recommend.
A really insightful guided tour! Our guide, Simon, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Especially recommended if it’s your first time visiting Oxford and would like to have a glimpse into the city before deciding which building/museum you’re going to visit in depth.
Very informative guided tour of Oxford University grounds. The guide was very knowledgeable. In addition to real life historical information he gave Harry Potter side bits to people interested in that sort of thing. Overall a nice tour!
Nice experience in Oxford, Simon is a prepared and kind guide, who can answer all the questions we had. I highly recommend this tour!
Brilliantly informative! Simon was a man of huge knowledge & information. Definitely a must when visiting Oxford.
They were able to swap us to an earlier time but our guide spent 45mins explaining how to apply to a university. This was pointless as our group consisted of a retired couple and a Russian family who spoke little English. He did not pick up that we were no interested and we had to bluntly ask him to move on to a walking tour of the colleges.we only saw inside Balliol collage and then moved on very quickly to the outside of others. Our guide did explain a few interesting facts but we would have been much better off- financially and experience wise - to have just looked around the colleges ourselves
Leon led a marvelous tour of Oxford. He was so knowledgeable about all the colleges and provided very personable view of life as a student. We greatly enjoyed our 90 minutes
An excellent way of getting to see Oxford in a unique and interesting way. Our guide Simon was very knowledgeable. The tour was worth every penny.
She was very informative, friendly and willing to answer questions. we have already told a few other people they need to put the same trip.
Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and devoted to his role.
Very interesting tour and extremely knowledgeable guide. Perfect length to get to know Oxford reasonably well.
Jeremy was very informative and funny! He made the best of a difficult day to do a tour and it was amazing! Was pretty much worth the price! But i did pass by the meeting point while looking for it.
I had a great guide (Joe) was who was very friendly and very knowledgeable about Oxford and history in general. I would strongly recommend the service.
I did the Oxford walking tour and it was absolutely fantastic - very interesting and comprehensive. Dan, our guide, was not only super friendly and likeable, but also brilliant and incredibly knowledgeable. He was able to answer every single question, even from a pain in the ass like me! He told us several anecdotes and curious stories, and showed us the spots connected to Alice in Wonderland and The Chronicles of Narnia, as well as the Harry Potter filming locations. Beyond sharing his knowledge, he really transmitted his love for his city, doing his job with so much passion and enthusiasm. He went way beyond my expectations.Thank you Dan, you were truly amazing!
My wife and I had a great tour of Oxford. Dan, our guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. He made all the history and architecture even more interesting, and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience. We highly recommend this tour!

Tom’s knowledge of all things Oxford was highly impressive. We felt we were being to told a story, both engaging & fun. Tom was considerate to our needs and took sitting breaks when we needed them.
We had Dan as our guide. I loved that we had a small group, walked into buildings on the Oxford campus, and had ample opportunity to ask questions. Dan was great at explaining the history to current day in Oxford. I learned a lot and enjoyed the relaxed pace and many places around the campus we visited.
Jeremy was an excellent guide, highly informative and with a great sense of humour. Despite the rainy weather, he delivered the full tour
Harriet was a lovely tour guide, really informative and fun - we have been talking about it ever since. Would def recommend!

Loved the tour. Simon was very knowledgeable and the length of the tour was just right. We went into Trinity College and we learnt a lot about it and the wider university. We also took us to the area around the Bodleian and he gave us some great tips for places to go and see after our tour. It was the perfect way to start our visit to Oxford.
Dan was an excellent guide! So fun and informative

Jeremy led an incredibly well researched and informative tour, peppered in with amusing stories and current trivia about the colleges, former students and celebrity attendees. Much fun for the Tolkien, CS Lewis and Harry Potter fans, too! Highly recommend!
My husband and I had a great walking tour of Oxford University and its colleges. Our guide Dan was exceptional both with history, architecture and other points of interest. We highly recommend this tour especially if you have not spent very much time in Oxford and want to appreciate its history.
Wonderful guide with passion and knowledge during the entire tour. She took her time with our questions and made us interested and more curios in getting to learn more about Oxford. We’ll be back👍
Our guide Kate was very knowledgeable & friendly. The tour included a visit of Baliol college , chapel & dining halls. Kate took time.to answer any questions and pointed out some interesting things to do/see after the tour. I would.have missed out on loads if I had visited by myself. Very enjoyable. Thanks Kate.
the tour with Sergey was excellent. He was really clear in his explanations, respectful, attentive, also, with a nice sense of humor, and his love for Oxford, very inspiring! We learned a lot and had a really good time. Thank You so much!!!
I would like to give you feedback about the 2 private tours I've booked for my company. I was really great, both groups enjoyed and found it interesting and interactive. We had insight of Oxford University, Oxford and Harry Potter. It was well mixed. Please send a big thank you to Jasmine and Alex our 2 great guides
Loving tour around Central Oxford with just the right amount information to find out a bit about the University, the city and also student life. Kate was our guide… Very patient very open to questions. A great 1.5 hours.
Joe provided a fantastic, fun fact tour of the University's history. Friendly, history focused and inclusive. Would highly recommend!
Lawrence has our guide was great and very accommodating as one of our group was having some medical issues during the tour. Very knowledgeable.
Our guide Dan was great. Very informative and shared lots of interesting facts about the city. Answered questions and happy to repeat anything. Very leisurely walk and he waited for slower members of groups. A tour well worth doing.
We had a fantastic tour of the university. Our tour guide was incredible! (I can’t remember his name but he did our 4pm tour on 4/18) He was very knowledgeable, explained everything so well, and was entertaining at the same time. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour!
The tour guide was not happy about the hot weather, he made a number of complaints about it. I was told off for moving slightly (I have hearing aids & tried to move closer so I could hear him in a noisy street) while he was counting the tour numbers. He was quite irritable and grumpy for most of the tour. He knew quite a lot about Oxford, but treated the group as though we were all quite ignorant, repeating frequent comments like "Do you get it?", "Do you understand?", "You've got to understand...", "You've got to get it into your heads...". Speaking as a very experienced lecturer, teacher and academic, I am very aware that these kinds of patronising closed questions and comments are not conducive to learning. I have 7 years of Uni study, including a Bachelor Degree, Dip Ed and Masters Degree, and a considerable amount of my study has been in history and literature related to material he outlined. I was shocked when he told the group that William Herbert, 3rd Earl of Pembroke had paid for Shakespeare to write a lot of his poems and some of his plays at Oxford Uni - this was entirely news to me, and I know quite a lot about Shakespeare and his works. I have subsequently done some research to find out if this is true, but on the contrary, I have found the reverse! He was clearly a very big Tolkien fan, which my husband and I are not. Tolkien excelled in sport while at Oxford University, but the Nobel literature prize jury rated Tolkien as a second rate storyteller, which is how we both rate him as well. We appreciate that some of the group found the extensive information on Tolkien and Harry Potter interesting because they may enjoy Hollywood blockbusters, but it was not very interesting for us. Positive aspects of the walking tour were that he recommended a number of places to visit, with their opening times, and he gave the group more than 1 1/2 hours, even though the day was hot.
The 1.5 hour tour offered a great overview of Oxford and the university. We were able to go into a college and its chapel. Leonor was a very personable and informative guide.
