Excellent stay, fantastic breakfast too. Our wheelchair accessible room was roomy and really easy to get to and into. The concierge worked really hard to move things around so we could stay in the same room a 2nd night - I don't know how he managed it but it was hugely appreciated. Location in town centre is perfect and the long stay station car park right behind is super convenient.

We came back to stay because of the vegan food choice so when we were told 2 mornings in a row that you were out of most of the vegan food options (black pudding, sausage etc) with no apology or alternative offered it was frustrating. That became insulting when we were told the reason was a delivery truck being delayed by a big accident on the motorway that morning. We checked, there wasn’t one in either direction. Our attempts to politely discuss vegan alternatives were met with huffing and puffing and blatant disdain. The shower in one room was too slow/ weak pressure when in the holder for water to eject out of the nozzle. It just drops/dribbles down. So I asked reception if someone could fix it if someone was available. I was impressed that 2 staff went to look immediately. I was not so impressed that when I returned to my room hours later it was twice as bad with most water now running out of the shower head connector and back down to the taps. All of this was all the more frustrating when experienced on a terrible nights sleep because no one manages the pub garden where drunk people sit and talk loudly waaaay beyond 11pm. 3am was the latest I noticed. We note empty replies to google maps reviews comments that confirm no action will be taken. This comment is therefore just so you know why your word of mouth reputation gets worse. Ps - some staff great; maybe if they wore name badges the bad ones might not be so bravely terrible
We had such a lovely afternoon tea experience and couldn’t fault a thing. There was a small mix-up with the number of people booked, but thanks to Bruce’s professionalism and friendly approach, this was quickly sorted without any fuss. Bruce truly made our visit special — he was an absolute delight throughout. Always smiling, attentive, and engaging not just with us but with the children too, which was such a thoughtful touch. His warm and welcoming manner really stood out and added to the whole experience. Overall, we had an amazing afternoon tea and left feeling very well looked after. Thank you for such a memorable afternoon!
This was my third one night stay at the hotel. Great location in the middle of Hungerford. My bedroom (107) was large and clean with nice décor plus a big comfy bed. (Thanks for the upgrade🙏). The room faced the road but was quiet enough for a good nights sleep. I thought the staff were exceptional and are a great asset to the hotel. A special shout out to Tracy and Hanna who were both friendly and helpful during my stay. The coffee and breakfast hit the spot. I would definitely recommend the Three Swans for accommodation and breakfast.
Great location on the high street. Only a little bit of noise from cars during the night. Secondary glazing made the difference. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was fine in the Superior room. A bit of a wonky floor but is an old building. Breakfast choices were good. Ate elsewhere in the evening but wish we'd eaten here.
