Had a nice two night break at the Hopping Hare as part of a family gathering. Nice spotlessly clean king room, very comfortable bed and good in room facilities. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was really very good and made to a high standard. Recommended

Family sunday lunch, interesting starters and puds, several different roasts and alternatives. Roast beef was superb as was my chocolate delice. Two minor criticisms, too much cinnamon in the red cabbage, and the roast potatoes were poor.
Wow what a fabulous find. Beautiful comfy rooms with a plentiful supply of teas, coffees and biscuits. Lovely complimentary toiletries. Staff smart, polite and attentive. Then we get to the food. Magnificent ! Beautifully cooked, outstanding presentation and great value for money. Whether visiting for a meal or a stay you will not be disappointed. Thank you to the exceptional Johnny who was so attentive despite being so busy.
Just had a superb Sunday roast lunch. One chicken one beef. Large plates of good food. Very hot and extremely tasty. Thoroughly recommended. Didn't have dessert as £10 but in all honesty too full anyway!%
We stayed here for two nights over the weekend. The room was very clean, comfortable beds and had everything we needed. I'm a cleaner myself so I felt happy it was a high standard clean and bed was immaculate. The breakfast was lovely and very good quality produce, it was cooked to perfection. We felt welcomed by the staff and it had a very nice atmosphere. We will definitely come back if we are out that way. My son wanted to stay a extra night so it had the whole family approval thankyou
