Regency Park Hotel

Booked here last minute due to a change of plans, rooms seemed reasonably priced. Plenty of free parking. The room however was hot and stuffy, we slept with the balancing door open and the fan on and it was still really dry and hot in the room. When entering there was a false nail sitting on the table left by the cleaners. When checking out the lady on reception clearly had expected complaints as she did not make eye contact whatsoever. Another couple checking out complained about yhe cleanliness but all she coukd do was apologise and say they should have come down when they checked in, the responded with they checked in at midnight and therefore couldnt come back down. Its a decent room. But cleanliness isnt their top priority by the looks of it

I was slightly worried by some of the reviews, but I have to say we had a great experience - the staff were extremely friendly & helpful, the room was huge, the bed was so comfortable, the sheets were clean.. ok the bathroom was slightly outdated, but functional, the breakfast was spot on, the Uber was quick & friendly. For the price this was exceptionaly good value & would def go back.

I stayed for 3 nights whilst working locally. The hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The room was well appointed and clean. It was a nice space to relax in and to do evening work. The gym and pool are superb. I didn't take any photos because of others present but it is exactly as shown in the website. Food both in evening and at breakfast was brilliant. The staff cannot do more. They are friendly, professional and keen to help. I'll definitely be staying again.

No contact back to resolve my disappointment Apon arrival we had check in and the lift was out of order as someone that has limited mobility having to climb the stairs was challenging. The hotel it self was very dated and not very tidy, and there was many dead bugs. When we arrived in the room the bed was covered in stains and the bathroom had hair in and no products! Once I managed to get back to reception they agreed to move us. This room the bathroom also wasn't clean but the bed was clean however I didn't see the point in complaining at this point. (Attached photos) The fridge didn't work and when my husband went to the reception to get more tea and milk in the morning there wasn't any one on reception. When we went down for breakfast we were told it wasn't included and we had to pay, so reluctantly we paid and regretted it, I ended up not being able to have anything but toast as it was a open buffet and I have allergies. The spa the swimming pool was cold and the jacuzzi was out of order. Quite frankly this experience was very disappointing and frustrating for someone with disabilities, and we were every much looking forward to this stay and was longing for a regular visit as we have family close. I would like a refund for our stay and one breakfast for compensation Many thanks Charlie
