An Incredible First Experience at Holiday Inn Swindon! From check-in to dining, the entire experience was absolutely incredible. A special thank you to Sally at reception, and to Steve, the F&B Manager, along with Rufus and Trinity from the restaurant team. Everyone was incredibly helpful, approachable, knowledgeable, and professional. Their warm hospitality truly made our stay memorable. I would highly recommend Holiday Inn Swindon to family and friends. Thank you all for making our first experience so enjoyable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This hotel is very run down and feels very understaffed. It took forever to check in and I had been offered an upgrade prior to arrival which I accepted but the lady seemed to have no idea how to make that happen so I told her not to worry. The room decor was disgusting with vile green/brown colour walls, the pillow cases were dirty and most of the TV channels did not seem to work. The lady at the pool was very friendly and helpful but unfortunately the whole changing room area was so dirty that I didn't even want to take my shoes off and walk bare feet. I slept well but in the morning we decided to have breakfast, think I paid close to £40, once again massively understaffed, I had to make a table up myself so we could sit only to then find out there were no plates or glasses out so everyone was just wandering around trying to find a plate, in the end I had to ask someone if we could have plates, glasses and if the bread could be restocked also. I could not wait to leave and will never be back, I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone else. I have stayed with ihg for years and I stay very very reguarly at all different hotels throughout the year as I choose to use them for all my business trips as well but this is far from holiday inn standard

The bad: was given 2 rooms without AC in heatwave, 3rd attempt was an occupied room! Not good. 4th attempt was upgraded room, and 3 drinks vouchers. AC worked though. Was going to go for a swim, but kids swimming lessons for 3 hours early evening not a relaxing environment, so gave it a miss. Room small, tired around the edges- eg, single pane windows from the 80’s? The good: food was very good, bar and restaurant staff were lovely, management was helpful in sorting out the issues. Bed comfortable.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel, with especially helpful and friendly staff. Mr. Steve in the restaurant, who was incredibly kind and approachable throughout our visit. Parking was free, which was convenient, though you do need to register your vehicle upon arrival at reception. The rooms were clean and tidy overall. The sofa bed was a bit squeaky and made some noise, which could be improved. We really enjoyed the leisure facilities — the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were all very relaxing. We were hoping for a massage service, but the hotel doesn’t offer one on-site; however, an external therapist can be arranged with prior booking. The buffet breakfast was good, and it was a nice touch that children’s dinner buffet is included when parents order main meals. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
