Burlington House

Myself and my partner stayed here for 3 nights this bank holiday weekend and it was such a wonderful stay. The hosts and all staff were so lovely and accommodating. As we arrived first we were given a pick of several rooms, which was lovely to be given the option. From this we could see all the rooms and bathrooms were decorated to a high standard. The room we chose was upstairs and it was beautiful. The bathroom was stunning and spotless (having a good bathroom is important to me!). There was underfloor heating if we needed and although we saw other guests at breakfast it was very quiet in the hotel. We had a selection of teas, hot chocolate, a coffee machine, chocolates and biscuits, plus toiletries provided in the bathroom. Breakfast was included in our stay and was made fresh to order, along with homemade bread and freshly squeezed orange juice. We opted for the full English and croissants, plus fresh coffee and tea. The hosts were helpful in helping us navigate around town via bus. Parking is free on site too. It's perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle but not far at all via bus or car from the centre (a few mins drive or a few bus stops). The room also had a smart tv so we were able to watch Netflix/Amazon. We would 100% recommend this gem of a find and would would definitely stay again! The staff clearly care and are great at their job! Thank you to all!
