Puebloastur Eco-resort Wellness & Spa

This is absolutely a GEM! Everything about this hotel is exceptional, from the way it seamlessly blends into its surroundings without disrupting the landscape, to its thoughtful design, beautiful art, and incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Waking up to the views of Picos de Europa National Park is something I will never forget. This was our honeymoon trip, just after our wedding, and we truly couldn’t have imagined a more special place to celebrate it. A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff who made our stay extra special and always welcomed us with a smile! We sincerely hope to return to this special place — and to Asturias as a whole. Asturias is definitely an underrated and still relatively undiscovered gem, and, selfishly, I hope it stays that way! One small piece of feedback: we had breakfast à la carte one morning and were a little surprised that the egg dish came simply as two eggs for two people, without any sides such as bread or a small salad. We had to order the bread separately. It might be worth reconsidering the à la carte breakfast options to make them feel a little more complete. Thank you again to the entire team for such a memorable stay. We absolutely loved it!

The restaurant is beautiful and the outlook outstanding. But the service was poor, lacking structure, timing and rhythm, so important to such places and the overall experience. The bottle of wine, when it eventually appeared, had a dry cork which can happen, although unusual for wine properly stored. But there was only one bottle of that particular wine - which we hadn’t been told beforehand, so we couldn’t continue with the same one. And the next wine also had a dry cork. The first glass of wine took a while. We eventually had to ask for bread so at least there was something on the table. The first dish, anchovy salad was good, small slices of hot pepper adding an interesting tangy contrast to the anchovies. But the principal dish, suckling pig had no crispy outer layer so was left a bit soggy in its bed of sauce. And it wasn’t the best cut either, large chunks of fat rather than layered. Overall disappointing. And overpriced for what is offered.

This place is like a dream. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable, the setting is extraordinarily beautiful and peaceful, the attention to detail (including those wonderful fresh flowers!) is exceptional, the art collection is amazing, and the facilities are really excellent. What really makes this place stand out above other luxury hotels I've stayed in is the staff who not only do their jobs beautifully but also seem genuinely warm and proud of the place.

Our stay at PuebloAstur in Cofiño was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the entire experience. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and their attention to detail truly stood out. A special thank you goes to Abdo, who took care of us during our three days in the restaurant and bar. His attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism made each meal even more enjoyable, and his presence added a personal touch that we deeply appreciated. The rooms were equally impressive—beautifully designed with a thoughtful layout that combined elegance and comfort. Every detail seemed carefully considered, creating a relaxing and refined atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we’re grateful to the entire team for making it so special.
