Medina Del Lago

It does not feel as many older haciendas do and feels a bit too modern, less luxurious considering its price and sad. The prices are also highly exaggerated for what it is. They don’t even have half day prices for the spa and they seem to be exploiting the fact that richer American or European tourists could pay for anything. Except there are better options for the same or cheaper price than here.

We were visiting with family and stayed at this place for 4 nights. The facility is excellent. We actually got treated like family members here. Everyone went out of Their way to accommodate all our needs. The owner themselves paid a lot of attention to everything. We did a couple of days of hiking locally plus some mountain biking. The view from the hotel is just beautiful. The food was excellent. Rooms are neat and clean. Service was fast and excellent.

This place was awesome! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and the view was amazing! I'd recommend staying here if you are traveling in the area

By far the nest place to stay near Otavalo. The staff was so kind and always willing to help me and my family. We rode horses around the hills and got to see an amazing view San Pablo's lake from the top of the mountain. We had dinner at their restaurant, the food was tasty and filling. They had a good selection of wines and coctails too. Our room had a jacuzzi with a panoramic view of the lake. They also offered us spa and massages. It is a safe place to stay at. I would totally recommend it.
