Far too expensive for the game only experience
Very bad experience . When we arrived they told us that the second floor is closed . We should have been notified of this prior to purchasing the tickets !!! This is totally unacceptable and I personally don’t appreciate such negative treatment !
The museum was very spacious with many different attractions. Including an AI photo machine & a VR system. The gift shop was very nice also with many different items to choose from. The staff were also very kind & welcoming and it was overall a good experience.
The Viking Planet was so much fun. It was very interesting and had lots of Viking information. The virtual reality was also awesome. The staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend visiting
There were many activities to plsy with. However, the content was limited. Once we understand it from one activity, the the contect was repeated in a different activity. The VR was not excited as expected.
Viking Planet was very cool. We started out playing the VR game that has one protecting his ship through 3 levels. The Vr was pretty cool and very simple to use. It did get a little warm under the mask, though. The gameplay was fun. You start out with a bow and shoot your enemies attacking from shore. But, if an enemy climbs onto the boat, it's a sword battle. It was a lot of fun. The rest of the museum is full of interactive and informative information on the lives and tools/weapons used by the vikings. There is a VR adventure with a 4D experience (the seat moves) of being on a ship adventure. And yes, the technology is somewhat dated, the experience was still fun. I am definitely returning when I come back to Oslo.
Great welcome and feel as we walked around at our leisure. The interactive stations were very well thought out and the cinema screens were immersive and visually appealing. The VR experience at the end was fantastic! We loved every moment of our visit.
Staff at the entrance are helpful and courteous with our admission . It is not covered in our CPH Pass, thus the entrance fee is Rm140 per person. As we enter, there is a gift shop that carries various Viking souvenirs . It is interesting to browse through and learn more into the Viking History through all the visual, holograms and various exhibits in this museum guided by audio & scripts. We were utterly amazed and thrilled sitting through the VR experience on its Viking Ship, it really offer an immerse feel on getting stabbed by the Viking in virtual reality, At the end of our tour, we had fun posing with their gears to snap our desired Viking picture for memory. It is a a good time spent and we bought some souvenirs !!!!
Each part of the experience was great, well thought out and super interactive. The VR was great, we would recommend this to anyone.
A lot to experience and look at, good setup, there is something for everyone, both children and adults. Educational! Professionally made movies and interactive experiences 🤗
Beautiful we had a great time with the vr game, a new way to approach the Viking world. Recommended !for children top
The best Museum of Oslo, interactive, informative and fun. We all loved it. There are different offers according to the number of people. There are explanations and videos, games and history.
very interesting museum, we learned a lot, we can choose the language. Little extra for virtual reality which is impressive to do
The context is nice, but once paid between 25 € per head, we are told that the main attraction is outside... Moreover, it is not the kindness of the manager who is competent to highlight... To do but not in priority on OSLO
Interesting and well made, but it quickly gets a little boring. Plus for free coffee, tea and water. Probably best suited for children of primary school age and tourists who are not familiar with the Viking era at all.
We visited Viking Planet with friends from England and the USA and everyone was impressed by this digital museum. Both adults and children were very pleased and we will be back.
Two families with schoolchildren were looking forward to an exciting afternoon at the museum. After half an hour we were done, and everyone sat down with a feeling that this really wasn’t worth the money. Few items that were worth experiencing, with interactive displays that gave little news! This was simply incredibly boring. And everyone, big and small, was clear about it! Choose something else folks, don't waste the money here..
