This was a wonderful way to spend an hour and half gently cruising around the waterfront and islands of Oslo. The boat was immaculate and very comfortable and quiet.

This was an excellent experience. Beautiful views. Be sure to download the GuideToGo app on your phone ahead of time, allow locations, and bring a headset. Very informative.
Very well organised. The “boat” (it is too large to really describe it those terms) very impressive and allows you to either stand outside or enjoy from the comfort of the lounge. About 1.5 hours seemed the right amount of time. I didn’t download the app so can’t comment on the commentary.
A nice short cruise to see the area. The ship is very sleek. There is food and drink available to purchase.
Very nice cruise on a fantastic modern quiet boat. Central, easy to find location. Tea, coffee, snacks etc available on board. Although only 1.5Hrs long you see a lot on the trip.
Wonderful and very organised. You don’t realise how the time passes by. I would definitely recommend.
Wonderful experience. The boat itself was very comfortable and well maintained. I took the first ride of the day and it wasn’t crowded at all. Enjoyed listening to the audio tour which was informative.
Impressive boat, carbon fiber construction, and quite beautiful. Lots of food available on board. Download an audio guide for information on sights. Dont forget your headset!
I went on a rainy day, and because I wasn't afraid of the rainy, the experience was perfect. The cruiser was very spacious with panoramic viewing on the deck outside. The ride was very comfortable on the inside with nice comfortable seats, free wifi, and cafe that services snacks, wine and other beverages. The restrooms were nice and clean. I like that I could listen to the audio guided tour on my phone. The ride was smooth and pleasant. And the views of different locations around Oslo from the bay was spectacular. Rain or shine, I highly recommend this gentle glider.
Fun and comprehensive boat tour of OsloFjord. Beautiful boat and the scenery was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour.
i walk with a stick and there were several travellers in wheelchairs on board .the ship was very accessable.friendly staff.a very nice experience.
We went out for the 1,5 hour long cruise which was enough time to cover and get a good view of Oslo surroundings seen from the sea. The boat takes a circular route from the centre of Oslo around some close islands. There is a guide narration app for smartphones available in a number of languages, also very convenient. The boat was super clean and quiet (hybrid electric), and the layout enables both indoor sitting (we were out on a super hot sunny day so a break in the air-conditioned indoors was needed) and outdoor standing with plenty of space (however no seats on the outside decks). There is a restaurant on the main deck with sandwiches, hot dogs etc served but also drinks on the menu. The vessel is a catamaran, so very stable for those that worry about getting seasick. The boat starts from the center of Oslo, very conveniently. Highly recommended, regardless of weather!
Really great city boat ride. It was the perfect length, we were able to spend time inside and out as well as enjoy a few beverages while onboard. There isn’t much seating outside but we found a few points. Convenient meeting spot too. Definitely recommend.
Worst informational cruise I have ever taken. When we checked into the boat, we were given no information about the audio tour. I had to go to the sales clerk behind the bar and ask how to access the audio equipment so we could hear the narration during the cruise. Instead of being provided with equipment, we were told to download an app and use my phone. The audio tour did not automatically play based on our location. I constantly had to press buttons and search through the app to figure out which information matched the sights we were passing. The entire experience was frustrating and poorly organized. The cruise itself was slow, uneventful, and lacked engaging commentary. Watching wallpaper dry would have been more exciting. I truly felt like I was on the slow boat to nowhere. I would not recommend this cruise to anyone looking for an informative or enjoyable sightseeing experience.
Really great experience overall. The crew were all super friendly and the boat was very smooth on the water (so no worries for seasick folk). It was great to travel around some of the little islands and see the key sites from the water. Really good price too tbh. Only thing to note (which didnt bother us), was there is no outside seats on the decking, so just for awareness. Highly recommended trip.
The trip through the Oslofjord was very enjoyable. Starting from the Opera House one gets a chance to see Akershus Fortress, Aker Brygge, Bygdøy and beautiful islands from close. The views from the ship's large panoramic windows are spectacular. The audio guide was also very informative. However, to use the guide, you have to keep your headset with you, which can be a little difficult if you do not know beforehand.
Large boat, plenty of indoor seating, plenty of viewing opportunities on the deck. Got to see the inner fjords on a lovely quiet cruise
Smooth quiet boat with decent audio guide. Bring your own headphones. Easy to find the boat. Snacks and drinks available on board too.
We took our 3 1/2 year old and 18 month old. It was very quiet when we went and they loved being able to run about the boat and look around at all the other boats, ships and buildings. Bring snacks and drinks as the on board cafe is very expensive. Would have been challenging if it was full.
Not worth the money, no narrative on board and basically went past the sane things a few times! We couldn’t download the app to listen. For the price cheap headphones would be a nice add
Nice cruise in the Oslo fjord, with convenient docking location opposite of the Opera House. Audio guide could have been better. And big downside is that the ship doesn’t have outdoor seating.
The staff is friendly and the place is clean. there was no audio presentation, which is why the rating is low.
Do ask for the QR code to download the audio guide for your phone. We were not told about this so it took time to discover how to access the audio tour guide.
Clean and lovely environment to relax while enjoying the trip.
The boat and views were so beautiful and the tour was so peaceful. It really exceeded our expectations!!!
A good time. Very on your own kind of activity. This isn't really a tour. It's a pleasant boat ride on a very nice vessel with snacks for purchase. None of these are bad things. You will not have any meaningful cultural interaction with the crew. You will need to download apps and tour info before the trip. If you are a non-tech last minute kind of person, plan ahead so you aren't frustrated at the point of departure. Bring $, earphones for the GPS-prompted tour, download the GTG app, and have a charged cellular device. Wifi on the boat is good.
This is a tour of the harbour and islands, not of steep-sided fjords as we, and probably others, will imagine. Having said that it's still very pleasant and nice to see Oslo from the water. There's not an awful lot to see it has to be said, though a few pretty colourful traditional Norwegian houses on one of the islands helped.
It was waste of our money. Ar 4 pm today , ( November 8th, ) was already dark ourside, why in the world they would sell tickets for this time. You see nothing!
Lovely boat inside and out, great food on board and a very peaceful cruise with varying things to see.
Great option to get outside of the city and see great views. Easy to find, perfect amount of time. Highly recommend.
Nothing brilliant. Just a nice leisurely cruise around part of the Oslofjord with a bit of commentary. Not a "must do" but if you have time and $$ then it's an option.
Expensive for what it is, but Oslo is expensive in general. The crew was silent, the boast was silent, the audio from the app was silent. Pay a little extra and get a guided tour.
You can book online or on site. There is a well stocked cafe with hot and cold drinks. We enjoyed the views with audio guide. Very clean and quiet. Staff very friendly and happy to help
It was lovely and exactly as described. Only communication with crew was when we boarded and when we disembarked the ship. Entire tour was silent but we could use the audiobook download (VON) to help us navigate where we were. Only downside is this had to be downloaded and was quite a large file. Other than that, plenty of refreshments on board and the opportunity to go outside or stay indoors which was lovely. Would recommend to anyone visiting Oslo for the day!
We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. It is a very pleasant way to spend 1 1/2 hours and a good way of seeing a different view of Oslo and some of the islands. The boat is a lovely, modern, comfortable boat with plenty of outside space and comfortable seating indoors.
After having no luck getting on the Hop On Hop Off bus because they have only one wheelchair space, we were happy to see this fjord cruise boat right there nearby, and it was the best 90 minutes we ever spent! Oslo is truly beautiful and the best way to see the peaceful islands and fjord is by boat tour. This boat is 100% wheelchair accessible (a nice surprise), the ticket agent Elmer was particularly helpful and kind, and he was happy to speak English with us which we appreciated. The tour allowed us to see so many beautiful quiet islands, small boats, and the general beauty that is in Scandinavia and nowhere else. We would definitely want to repeat this boat tour the next time we are lucky enough to visit Oslo! Overall we find that Oslo is one of the most wheelchair-friendly cities anywhere, including flat crosswalks, flat walking areas (not only cobblestones) and many ramps for accessibility. Well done, Oslo!
Very enjoyable. Staff all pleasant and welcoming. Boat is stunning we wanted to stay on longer was brilliant. Would recommend to anyone visiting Norway. ❤️
The tour was beautiful and pleasant; however, we were expecting to see fjords, and that was not the case, since they are located far from Oslo. Therefore, I think it should be made clearer that the focus of this tour is to see the city from a different perspective... But if the idea is to see the fjords, I would not recommend it.
Very comfortable cruise with a beautiful view both from inside and from outside. Many spots for good photos
We loved the ship and all the personnel were very nice and helpful. The cruise was beautiful and we learned a ton of info about Oslo
The audio guide is frustrating and annoying to load. Just what you don't need at the start of a trip. The staff at the land boot is not helpful. And you would think there should be chairs on the deck? Nope. Stand or go inside.
A beautiful sunning morning for a cruise. The boat was very clean, tidy and one had so many viewing points to take pictures and videos of the wonderful scenery. I would recommend the trip and good value.
The entire experience was peaceful, scenic, and honestly the perfect way to enjoy Oslo’s natural beauty.
Nice, easy cruise ride from city center, beautiful views of Oslo. Tour app needs to be downloaded for listening at your own pace. Boat has plenty of viewing deck space, at several levels.
Just returned from this super advertised oslo scenic fjord cruise. I must say it was very disappointing not to witness any fjords!. Just a simple boat ride around the choppy oslo waters. Nice & lovely yacht with friendly staff, but I'm afraid it wasn't scenic. There are better things to do than spending time here.
The ship was beautiful and excellent access for wheelchairs. The staff were friendly and polite. There is no outside seating available. The trip didn't actually go very far, we sailed around the various port areas of Oslo at a very slow speed and then returned. We were disappointed that we didn't travel further along the fjord to enjoy some more scenic areas.
It good but not seeing many scenery. We expect will have more to see but it actually not many thing to look. 👀
If you Google picture search the word "fjord" you get photos of majestic, high mountains and beautiful sea views. Do not expect to see that on this cruise. This is a cruise of the Oslofjord, which is quite different from the pictoresque fjords in other parts of Norway. This cruise takes you around the Oslofjord and the harbour area, where scenes are beautiful but not what you might expect from "a fjord cruise". The ship is fabulous, nicely designed and the cafe/bar is very good. The cruise is also wheelchair accessible.
Nice gentle way to relax for 1 1/2 hrs but be aware it’s just a water view of harbour area with self audio guide from app on your iPhone. No conversation guide interaction from a crew. Pleasant, but not awesome.
Gorgeous boat, amazing views and good audio info. Not too heavy on the facts but enough to learn a little more about this beautiful city. Would definitely recommend for a chilled out 1.5 hours
