À great tour with Hans who was so knowledgeable. The museums he took us to were amazing & we came away feeling that we had seen the best of Oslo

Hans, our guide, provided us a thorough and very enjoyable tour of Oslo. Our favorite stop (really there were many favorites) was the massive Holmenkollen Ski Jump Stadium with its marvelous views of the city. Hans is delightfully congenial, low key but full of valuable information. The time spent with him was quite pleasurable. My wife has mobility issues. He made her comfortable throughout and ensured her access to the various sites. Many kindnesses. This tour is wonderful immersion in a beautiful city.
Hans is knowledgeable and interesting and goes at your pace. He is retired and this is his post-retirement PT business. It was a lot to see 4 attractions in 4 hrs, but gives one a chance to get some highlights. I didn't know what to expect with the sculpture park but apparently this is Oslo's #1 attraction, and well worth it. I found it incredibly moving and hope to return and spend hours there looking more closely. This was exactly what I wanted and well worth it to do a private tour with someone who knows how to avoid the pitfalls and busy crowds.
Hans provided a wonderful tour of Oslo. It was a great way to see the city and sights in a stress free manner. He took care of everything.
Excellent experience with lovely sites. The trip moved at a good pace and we had a comprehensive overview of this beautiful city. I left with a greater appreciation for how Norway operates and some of what makes it special. The Polar ship Fram and KonTiki helped me understand the seagoing and exploration expertise of the explorers. This is a half day well spent.
If you only have one day in Oslo, cruise ship stop, this is the tour to do. Hans was a wonderful driver and tour guide. We got to see everything we wanted to see and you get to choose your pace and agenda. Cruise ship stops give you an overview of the city and this is one city that we will be returning to for an extended stay thanks to Hans!!
This was a great tour! Hans was a very informative guide and the tour ran smoothly! We hit all the stops, and even made a few extra stops when time permitted. It was an amazing adventure for us! A++++
This was a great tour to see the attractions in Oslo that are too far to walk from the city center. Hans knew all of the best ways to move around the area and find parking. He moved us through the museums quickly so we could see just the highlights. I can highly recommend this private driving tour when in Oslo.
We liked this 4-hour private tour with a Volvo SUV. Our guide/driver, Hans, was a true gentleman and he had in-depth knowledge on Oslo and the attractions which we visited. I recommend this tour.
We traversed Oslo with Hans as our guide. He is knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly. He knows all the fast lane ways to see the city in 4 hrs. We saw panoramic views of Oslo from a couple vistas, took the translator up to the top of the infamous ski jump, viewed the numerous sculptures in the garden, were transfixed by the reenactment of the Fram expedition, saw many important buildings including the King's palace and garden. We highly recommend Hans and this tour. Hans takes good photo too.
Hans picked us up at our hotel, our first stop was the Holmenkollbakken ski tower. We were so amazed with the site, we stayed after the tour for the ski jump/slalem ski simulator! The sculpture park was so interesting I want to buy a book to read more about the artist and sculptures. Our stop at the Fram Ship Museum, we walked around and through the ship. Hans was so knowledgeable and spent time answering our questions. We really loved being with Hans this must-do excursion.
This tour is excellent. Very informative. The guide is very knowledgable. Make sure you go to the top of the ski lift. It is amazing. I learned a lot at both the Fram museum and the Kon-tiki museum.
Great way to get a broader impression of the Oslo area. Loved that we could be in the ski area in 20 minutes from downtown
Hans was very knowledgeable and gave my wife and I a great tour of Oslo and surrounds. It was great having him with us in the museums. Great selection of sites to visit. A very enjoyable experience, and we highly recommend it!
Don’t hesitate to book! Hans was awesome. Took us to an amazing viewpoint and then the ski jump, the sculpture garden and several museums. He offered the option to customize by spending more time in certain places in lieu of seeing others. He was a wealth of knowledge and we learned so much about the history and culture. The car was clean and comfortable - a fantastic way to see the city. It was awesome to have our own private tour versus the large bus tours. Highly recommend Hans!
Our tour guide is named Hans, he was right on time to pick us up at the hotel. He asked if we had any suggestions of where we would like to start and he took us through all of Oslo explaining the sites and views we had a great time.
Our guide Hans picked us up at our hotel in the city of Oslo in his comfortable car. We had an enjoyable experience with him as he shared the many sights outside Oslo. He was a careful driver and always courteous to our every need! Unfortunately for all of us the beautiful view of Oslo from the ski area was cloudy and completely compromised by the rainy day! The visit to the summit and the ski jump center were particularly interesting and memorable. From photos and Han’s we learned about the Norwegian Royals’ devotion to skiing. Next we visited a beautiful park with an amazing amphitheater of bronze sculptures denoting all life cycles! Vigeland is the sculpture who undertook this remarkable forty years project! The Obelisk was our favorite! Our last visit was to the Maritime Museum where we learned about the Polar expeditions and the Con Tiki research expeditions. We highly recommend this tour and Han’s as your guide! Robert and Charlene Stuart October 2024
Hans was excellent. 40 years of knowledge. Took us to all the hot spots and even went off course to show us some special requests.
Hans was an excellent guide, friendly and professional. He picked us up right on time at our AirBnb and gave us a great 4-hour tour. The first stop was the ski jump which provided awesome views of Oslo and the surrounding areas. The next stop was the stunning sculpture garden at Vigeland Park. The final two stops were the Fram and Contiki museums which were very interesting. At all of these stops, Hans shared his knowledge about what we were seeing and their importance. I would definitely recommend this private tour.
Great guide. Very flexible and knowledgeable. A very enjoyable tour! The Sculpture Gardens were absolutely amazing Enjoyed the tour of the Nordic museum and Thor exhibition.
Hans was an excellent guide. He picked us up at our hotel and gave us a great 4 hours of a tour despite the rain. Excellent info on the ski jump. Great toour of the sculptures. Loved the time at the ships.
The Ski Jump area and Museums were exciting and we enjoyed the knowledge that our guide provided while driving the around the Oslo area.
We got a nice overview of Oslo. Hans was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. We would definitely recommend.
Hans is very knowledgeable of Oslo and got us to all of the sights just ahead of the large bus hours. Great timing!
Great time with Hans as he shared his knowledge of the places we toured: the Polar Museum and Vigeland Park. Very educational and informative. A great guide ... I hope to come back next year and have him show me more of beautiful Oslo.
Hans is an amazing tour guide. You can feel his love for Oslo. He was on time and waiting for us at the cruise port. This is the exact experience you would hope for when booking a private excursion. If you want to have an enjoyable time in Oslo please, don't hesitate, book this tour! Thanks Hans, for a memorable visit to Oslo!
Excellent, Hans was fantastic, on time very knowledgeable really enjoyed the time with him. Highly Recommended
We loved seeing ski area, views, sculpture park and the museums!! Hans was a fantastic guide, friendly and professional. He made this tour enjoyable and memorable.
Hans was an exceptional guide. He knows his city well and is knowledgeable and personable. It was a cold and snowy day and he took care to ensure we were looked after. I’d thoroughly recommend him.
Hans was an exceptional guide. Knowledgeable and welcoming. I’d highly recommend his tour. The trip to Holmenkollen alone was worth it.
Hans picked us up on time at our hotel and gave us a great tour of Oslo; we got to places that would have been impossible to reach ourselves in the given time-frame. The car was in great condition and he drove very well. We appreciated the history and information on the city that he provided. Flexible itinerary. Really nice guy in addition to being a wonderful guide. Hans, thank you for coming out on a holiday to show us your city!
Fram Museum and outdoor sculpture park. He was a careful and considerate driver and was always helpful taking photos!
Excellent private tour! We were picked up at the hotel and began our excursion in a comfortable vehicle. Fun tour, great way to learn about Oslo
Very good guide and good photographer at the same time hahaha. The weather was not good, but it was a very entertaining morning.
We saw some amazing sites - most notable was the Olympic downhill slope. The park with the 200 statues was also quite incredible. Felt the 4 hour tour was perfect amount of time to see what we should see and then have lunch and shop for a while before returning to the ship. Our guide Hans was quite nice. His car was impeccably clean and convenient for getting around.
Exactly as advertised. Great way to get initial exposure to Oslo. Hand was a great driver and guide. Bery pleasant and enjoyable outing.
Oslo is the best City I have ever been to.and I have been to some great cities all over the world.it’s so friendly.I went with my 10 year old son and we didn’t want to come home after 5 days.so much to see and do.food is fantastic.Went on the Oslo Fjord 2 hour cruise.book it when you get there it’s cheaper and easy to book.getting around is great 24 hour ticket for metro trams trains and the bus.kids are free in the train if under 16.I can’t praise it enough and can’t wait to go back.went with SAS and the flights were cheap from Manchester.
What a great way to experience Oslo! Our driver was very knowledgeable and flexible and we loved having a private tour rather than with a group. The Volvo was very comfortable and water was supplied. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this tour!
Our tour guide, Hans, picked us up on time and began the tour at once. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and its history. He had many anecdotal stories and specific details that enriched the experience. He was also an excellent driver and very cautious in his getting us around town. I would definitely recommend him!
The tour was very interesting. It was cool and very educational. The driver Vangelis is very friendly and showed us all the sights. It is definitely worth it. Many thanks to Vangelis 🙏🏻
