Mira and Stian were very nice and I enjoyed all the food .
Our guide, Janica, was delightful. Expertly leading a small group around the residential area of Grünerløkka taking us to various spots to sample all the traditional tastes of Norwegian cuisine. Not rushed and plenty of time to take in the historical background of the area. A perfect introduction to Oslo and highly recommended
Kenneth was a great guide, and the dishes chosen for the tour were very unique and represent Norway. Kenneth was friendly, charismatic, and full of interesting facts. We got to try 5 dishes in total. I do wish I had left the tour with a more full stomach, but the tour was great regardless. You can tell the food choices were intentional and carefully considered. Accommodations for vegans was available with advance notice. Solid choice for a food tour.
Had a wonderful time. Kenneth was amazing. Very knowledgeable and the food was incredible. Good amount of food for what we paid and he took us to some lovely locations. Thank you very much. Would absolutely recommend.
We thought this was a GREAT food tour! Enjoyed the experience of tasting smoked trout, Norwegian danish, fish burgers and the raindeer stew & brown cheese with moose, raindeer & fish sausage. Plus the dessert waffle with cream and brown cheese - yum!
The time was great, we tried things we wouldn’t have otherwise tried. It was a great balance of walking and eating as well as some local insights.
I thoroughly enjoyed Janika’s tour. Her commentary was interesting, the food elections were unique and portions were very generous. Highly recommend!
Kenneth is an amazing guide, so much delicious food and stories to go along with everything. Definitely recommend!
Janice was a wonderful guide. We tried so many different dishes but the reindeer stew and cinnamon roll was our favorite I would recommend this tour while in Oslo.
We had a wonderful tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed chatting with her. The food was a great at each stop. Our favorites were the reindeer stew and cinnamon roll. Highly recommend this tour.
My husband and I had an awesome tour with Janica - we were the only two so it was like our own personal tour! It was a beautiful day to walk around this district out of central Oslo, and we tried all of the Norwegian foods I had heard about, as well as seeing some sights we would never have considered. I highly recommend this tour and what a bonus if you have Janica as your guide.
Delightful guide Gozde was great. A lovely knowledgable woman who was great company.
I met the guide in the appointed place, they were extremely nice and knew what they were talking about. The food tour and the required walking through the neighborhood was excellent. There were foods that I never ate before so it was thrilling to try local foods in locals only neighborhoods. I highly recommend this tour.
A great walking food tour in Oslo- Kenneth our guide was amazing, witty, knowledgeable and we learnt a great deal about Oslo’s history, culture and its food. The food sampled was really great and spaced out well to allow us to enjoy it all.
Excellent and unique food, good company, very informative. This is a great way to experience the local culture and environment.
G was an amazing tour guide! She knew so much about the foods I tried and the history of Norway. I really appreciate how kind and thorough she was on this tour.
G was a lovely guide. She paced the walking, food stops and commentary. She lead us through a part of Oslo that we never would have seen. And the choice of food stops gave a real feel for Norwegian food culture. Thank you, G!
G was very engaging great food paired with historical facts Staff at the different resturants were very friendly. 5 courses was just about right.
G was awesome!!! She took us through hidden gems.. The food was great!! Thank you
G was fabulous. We explored some wonderful parts of Oslo that I wouldn’t have ever known about. Thank you!
Wonderful food tour in the very cool Grünerlakka area. Gozde is a fabulous guide, blending history and culture with warmth and humor. And all of the food stops were delicious - loved every bite!!!
We had a great time on the Oslo Secret Food Tour despite the dreary skies and rainy day. Our guide, G, was fantastic! She shared her local knowledge and enhanced our experience at every stop.
Our guide, G, was excellent. We enjoyed all of the food we tasted and the places she took us. She was very energetic and shared a lot of Oslo history and the origins of the food. Highly recommend her!!!
The food tour was held in an up-and-coming, cool neighborhood. If your food tour is at 11, it's best not to eat very much for breakfast.
Meeting location clear and easy to find. We had a small group 5 total which was great because hearing the guide and finding a table for a larger group would have been very challenging in the venues we visited. Wide array of Norwegian foods was a good introduction to local cuisines. The walking was difficult for me (I have a peripheral neuropathy) so I took Uber on the longest segment. Everything turned out great. Good experience but pricy.
Kenneth was a fantastic guide and the group we ended up with was awesome. This is definitely not a mild walking food tour - expect steep inclines and some interesting terrain, but overall, well worth it. The food was incredible and the insight provided on the way to each place was awesome. Walking food tours let you see parts of an area you probably wouldn't typically wander into and try food you normally wouldn't gravitate towards. Definitely recommend.
Despite the rain, J made the sun shine with her joyful and entertaining introduction to the secret foods of Oslo.
Gozde was fabulous. I appreciate that she incorporated the history of Norway into the tour, and that we tried food that was so tied to Norwegian culture. You will be SO full at the end of this tour. I would highly recommend.
G was tremendous! Friendly, engaging, knowledgeable!
Fantastic food tour that really covered all the bases with high quality Norwegian food. Great neighborhood and spots plus visited an amazing food hall. Our guide Janica was lovely and took great care of the entire group.
G did a great job. Right mixture of history and local color
We booked Oslo's Secret Food Tour and had an outstanding time. Our guide, Gozde, was personable, professional and loaded us up with both delicious food (all sorts of traditional foods like reindeer, moose and whale, as well as new takes on farm to table choices) and a thorough explanation of food, culture and history in Norway. Great way to tour and eat in one tour!
Everything was great! Our guide “G” made it fantastic! She was extremely personable!
What a fabulous food tour! The food was so good. Our guide showed us around to 5 spots in a very cool neighborhood on foot. We had a small group so we all felt comfortable chatting and asking questions.
Kenneth was an engaging guide and set a comfortable pace for our tour. The food quality was top-notch and varied. I very much enjoyed the tour and appreciated how attentive and easy-going Kenneth was.
I love doing these tours the first day in the city after flying from the US. Gives me a chance to explore and taste the foods of that region. Kenneth was a great host with wonderful insight into the city and culture. Highly recommend.
G (Gozde) was a great guide. She is Extremely knowledgable about the history of Norway, the food, and friendly. The food choices were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Great time with Gozde on our tour......highly recommend. The food was delicious.....appreciated the opportunity to see some out of the way places.
Great tour through interesting neighborhoods and lots of food. Janica exposed us to some delicious foods. We were stuffed by the end. Group size was perfect and we were all buddies by the end of the tour. I especially enjoyed going by the Gamle Aker from the 12 th century.
Great experience, Jonika did a wonderful job.
