Minji put so much effort into the tour we had a great time from the beginning to the end. We learned a lot of random facts and saw beautiful views. One can really tell she knows and loves the city. Thank you so much!

We absolutely loved this tour. Maria was a natural born story teller and shared stories about the myths and legends, but also gave us great general history. We did the evening tour and it was great seeing the city at night. I can't recommend this tour enough!
Very interesting tour. The tour guide is funny, pleasure to listen to. Great stories and legends. Highly recommend it. Thank you for the nice time
Great guide told fun stories of Oslo and Norse mythology. Sadly it rained but not really the guide’s fault.
We did this tour on a chilly, rainy evening but our guide—Anastasia—was so good that we quickly forgot the weather. She took us through Norse mythology and a lot of Oslo and Norwegian history. Amazingly deep knowledge and a terrific story teller; our group was riveted the whole time. She was especially adept at weaving snippets from present day Norwegian culture into the history she shared. Our 2+ hours took us through some of the key sites in Oslo’s long history, but was vastly more interesting than a standard city walking tour. We would highly recommend for people of all ages, including kids interested in trolls and superheroes.
The disappointment in this tour was the lack of myths and legends. It was a basic history walking tour and it was very bland. Our tour guide seemed like a lovely person but she was not very good at her job. This was nothing like the reviews or description
It was an interesting review of Oslo history and some of the old beliefs. It helped link in with some of the paintings we had seen previously.
This was worth ever second! It was a great way to spend the evening and our guide was super knowledgeable! She gave so much history as well as mythology background! It renewned my love of norse mythology and made me want to revisit Oslo!
An artful blend of mythology , folklore, history and contemporary informations. Our guide was knowledgeable with great sense of humour. We loved it and it saved as a lot of time since there are so many things to do in Oslo.Takk!
Because it managed to feel like far more than just a walking tour. Blending history, folklore, hidden corners of the city and storytelling in a way that made Oslo feel alive rather than just “explained.” The guide’s passion was infectious, the pace relaxed, and there was something genuinely memorable about hearing tales of Vikings, trolls, ghosts and old Norwegian legends while actually standing in the places connected to them.
The guide gave us lots of information on things that not only you could clearly see but also the things above your head. Very informative and would recommend
Fantastic time and our guide was very knowledgeable. Whether it was trolls and Odin or WWII or robbers, great stories were told. Definitely recommend.
Our hostess was excellent. Very funny and enthusiastic, you can tell she enjoys her job and that makes it fun for everyone. She was extremely knowledgeable on the City and Countries history. The history becomes alive, and you feel that you are part of it. Would recommend to any visitors to Oslo.
I LOVED THIS TOUR! Do not underestimate this tour I learned a lot of history about Oslo and even learned more about the different structures and their significance. The tour guide, Marija was very engaging and had us all at the edge of our seats. She made the tour relatable and funny plus she was very warm and approachable. The information from this tour stuck more than others I've taken. Plus it was nice to visit the castle and learn more about what happened in the past. The tour is one to remember with a guide that left an impression.
What a fun and interesting tour. Anastasia was excellent!! She gave us information, then a story or two at every stop. We were all so engaged and entertained. We didn’t walk a ton, but you will be standing / walking for 2 hours so make sure you are up for it. We could have talked about City Hall the entire time!
Very informative tour and we learned something about Norwegian history! The tour guide liked talking about Norwegian history. The tour guide believed in legends, myths and trolls! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the sights we visited.
The guide Maria was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. It was the perfect amount of time and she took us into parts of Oslo we wouldn’t have known about. The stories were very entertaining.
Wonderful English speaking tour guide with good knowledge of Nordic History and some fun stories. Great way to see the city and learn the meaning of some of the statures and Norwegian way of life.
Our tour guide was fantastic—an engaging storyteller and incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. Lots of interesting history and curious mythology. We loved it and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn about this beautiful city.
We entered this tour with zero expectations and My son and I had a wonderful time exploring some of the myths and legends of Oslo. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great way to see areas of the city we never would have experienced otherwise.
We booked a private Myths and Legends tour with Marija and had THE BEST time. The rest of our stay in Oslo was made more colorful with the knowledge we had about the city’s rich history and cultural icons. For anyone interested in history or folklore, I can’t recommend this tour enough. 100/10!!
Nice and fun tour. I think it is a cool way to get to know a culture and it’s history. The tour guide was super friendly.
I loved all the knowledge on Oslo and Norway. Our guide was also so excited to tell us all about it! Will definitely do this again when I come back!
The tour guide was extremely informative and helpful and would answer all questions to the best of her ability and the tour was a pleasure.
Our guide had an extensive knowledge of the history, myths and legends of Oslo. She had a very easy pleasant manner and interacted easily with our group. Highly recommend this tour. 👍🤗
After getting so cold during the day, the thought of spending 2 hours on the cold was almost too much but so glad I did! Great tour guide and really enjoyed all the information. Felt really special walking around the city in the dark hearing all the stories. Would definitely recommend . There are lots of cobbles so for those who find it hard walking or pushing a pram on this o wouldn't recommend but I'm sure if you let the guide know they would take this into account
The guide was funny and informative. I learned more about Nordic culture, the history of Oslo and some spooky tales.
Really enjoyed this tour, lots of easy walking and interesting stories. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and friendly. Sometimes the commentary seemed a bit up for personal interpretation so maybe more information based in research would be good. All in all we really enjoyed the tour and came out of it with lots of cool knowledge about the city and its stories.
This was a lovely tour with an excellent enthusiastic guide. He was so enthusiastic he often started telling stories before the whole group had caught up! Speaking of stories they weren't really that dark. Still interesting but not the vibe we expected.
Ancient city tour + Nordic mythology + psychic stories, interspersed with royal gossip. The tour guide said Norwegians grew up frightened by stories of "mountains eating children" and "that's how you start loving dark stories". Each story begins with the phrase, “On a bad day, just like today ...” and is very engrossing, with some special tips for dealing with mountain demons. Norwegians are really proud of their monsters, Troll the Mountain Demon, the Forest Elves who confuse passersby, Kraken the Sea Monster.. Don't take a stroll in the rain anyway. Oslo's favorite trip, truly recommended.
Mary wonderfully guided us through the mystical history of Oslo! We had a lot of fun and got to know Oslo from a very special side ☺️
