We had the wonderful Idunn as our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly throughout; a great ambassador for Oslo and Norway. Effectively, we had a private tour as there was only the 2 of us. We covered all the main buildings, the history, the architecture. It was a very informative tour. Idunn was great at answering all our questions. Thank you.

If a first timer, or veteran to the city, it is a must join! Our tour guide, a philosopher and historian, Gabriel is very knowledeous about rich and yet struggling history of the country. Thank you so much for a private tour and history lesson!
Ludo was an amazing guide! Knowledgeable and personable. His enthusiasm for Oslo was contagious. So much better than just wandering around on my own.
This was a great walking tour that provided a nice overview of the main attractions in Oslo. Our guide, Tanya-Lisa (sp?) was very knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend!
Excellent walking tour covering history and multiple sites in the City Sentrum. Ludo is an exceptional and entertaining tour guide. He provided historical context for the sites and suggestions for other tourist destinations and restaurants.
We were only in Oslo for a couple of nights and therefore wanted a tour to give us a bit of history and background to our visit. Ludo was a fantastic host with a wealth of knowledge and a great presenting style with humour when appropriate. He took us through the whole history of the city and of Norway as a whole from its foundation through to the Second World War and more recent times and events. In addition he gave us some recommendations for how to spend the rest of our day and places to eat. The pace was just right with some opportunities to sit down and listen at various points. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.
Our guide, Ludo did a fantastic job of introducing us to Norwegian culture and the city of Oslo.

I did the small group tour with Ludo and there were 5 of us. His knowledge of the history and architecture was really good. The pace was excellent, and being there as the last King was laid to rest added to the experience. He also told us about the Swedish and Norwegian history and the amicable split. I would recommend Ludo and Amitylux again!

Ludo was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and very warm person. Hated for the tour to end. Left me wanting to know even more about Oslo and Norway. So interesting!
Francis provided an excellent tour of Oslo which was much enjoyed by my wife and myself. His knowledge of the city and its ways was excellent.
Great guide!!! Best way to visit Oslo in a short period of time. Well worth the time and well worth it.
Ludo was excellent. A compact and succinct overview of the history of Oslo and its relevance to Scandinavia. The history and sociology of Norway were discussed during the tour, enhancing our understanding of the Norwegian culture. Greatly recommended for the first time traveller to Olso.

Very hard to identify the tour. We missed it or it wasn't there and thus did not get the tour. Poor description of meeting place for people new to Oslo.
Francis gave us a magical tour around Oslo. On our first visit to the city his knowledge, experiences and anecdotes brought the tour to life. I would thoroughly recommend this tour which as a small group provides a much more personal and intimate group for the experience.

We enjoyed the 3 hour City tour with Pelle. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. He provided us with so much history about Norway. It was great seeing the city through a locals view. Plus the small group made it easier to engage. Thank you Pelle.
Outstanding tour guide Pelle who was knowledgeable and friendly. The pace was great and we learned a lot about history and culture in Oslo. Highly recommended!
Pelle was a great guide who was very knowledgeable about the sites we were taken to but also able to answer any questions that came up. The small tour was the best choice. Wear comfortable walking shoes, mostly cobblestone walkways and steep in some areas. Bring water, We walked about 6k total steps. Thankful for a fun morning around Oslo.
My tour was the morning of July 9, 2026. Our guide was Pella. He was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, friendly and personable.
Oslo is a gorgeous, walkable city and a joy to explore. However, the guide did not quite match the price we paid. She was quite shy and struggled at times with English vocabulary, which limited the amount and depth of commentary we received. With a more confident and experienced guide, this tour could be excellent.
Wonderful way to start a visit to Oslo. Our wonderful guide, Francis, not only gave us foundational history, but was also very good at pacing us. Really a joy—we benefited from his enthusiasm!
