Radisson Red Oslo City Centre, A Verified Net Zero Hotel

Great location in the city centre, only 10 min walk from the Central station, and having a Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The hotel is definitely not a 4 star property and is heavily overpriced for what you pay. Cleanliness was poor overall, both the elevator and the room (including the table) were dirty. Maintenance issues made it hard to rest, the room air heater didn't work, and the bathroom extractor fan couldn't be turned off, running and making noise all night long. To top it all off, staff completely forgot my requested wake-up call. Not worth the money.

Everything was excellent. Spacious room for 3 adults, equipped with coffee machine, kettle and ironing board, free water at the reception, comfortable beds and a very rich breakfast, both is savoury and sweet optiona (surprised that there was no smoked salmon in breakfast). The only negative was the room temperature that was only centrally controlled. It was a little bit colder than needed, but we could ask for some extra blankets.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dorian and Eda at Radisson RED Oslo City Centre for their outstanding customer service. I accidentally booked the wrong Radisson RED hotel due to the similar hotel names, and they went above and beyond to help us resolve the situation. They were incredibly kind, professional, patient, and understanding throughout the entire process. They made the new booking process smooth and stress-free, and as a wonderful gesture, they even upgraded our reservation by including breakfast. Their exceptional hospitality truly turned a stressful situation into a pleasant experience. They are a great example of what excellent customer service should be. Thank you, Dorian and Eda, for your kindness, support, and professionalism. You made our stay in Oslo even more enjoyable, and we will definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Had to book last minute as we had some travel delays and didn’t get to go on the train we were supposed to take north that night. Rooms were exactly what we needed! Clean and comfortable. Good location and affordable. Would recommend!
