Radisson Blu Hotel, Oslo Alna

The dedicated children’s breakfast buffet, with various activities, made a very good impression. It is clear that someone put a lot of thought and effort into it, and I am sure all parents appreciate it 🤩

We stayed here for two nights. When we got here we were assigned a room on the 8th floor which was very warm. We requested another room and the staff was very kind to accomodate this. We got a room on floor 6 which was a lot cooler. Do be aware that the parking is paid. The metro is easy to walk to and within 25 minutes you are in the city centre. The breakfast was very good!

I'm writing this review on my second sleepless night in this hotel. They gave us a room facing the street and called it "an upgrade". Result: idiots driving cars with high volume music all night long keeping us up the entire time. Plus? The guest in the next room can only talk screaming. We wanted to ask to change room, but the person in front of us at the reception asked the same thing and she was denied it. It's a pity because the hotel is in a convenient position, next to buses and line 2 subway, supermarket and a mcdonald right in front, but when it's impossible to sleep it's meaningless.

My flight arrived early, so I expected to arrive at the hotel, leave my bags at the reception and explore the city while waiting for their customary check in time of 2pm. To my great surprise, my room was ready to receive me at 8am and I was able to rest for half a day without extra charges. How generous! The bed apparatus is so soft, the shower satisfying, and best of all, it’s quiet around here. The location is a little out of the city, but the welcoming service left a very happy feeling in me! So glad to be in rainy but beautiful Norway!
