Here’s a polished review you can post: We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Everyone was very kind to our children, which made our family feel especially comfortable throughout our stay. Although the hotel is a little older and some areas are somewhat outdated, it is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Our suite was spacious and provided plenty of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. It was a real honor to stay in such a historic hotel with so much character and history. We truly enjoyed our experience and would happily stay here again.

Very posh hotel! Very elegant and very friendly desk staff. Our superior plus room was very nice as well and offered plenty of room for our family of 3 -- they prepared a pull out bed for our daughter in advance of our arrival, which was very nice. The breakfast was adequate -- a typical european breakfast offering, however the warm offerings were not very warm. My only sincere complaint was the rooftop bar -- we wanted to have an afternoon pint, but were excused from the patio being told that it was "adults only" and our daughter could not be there. It is not as if we are a bunch of younger teens trying to get alcohol -- our daughter is 8 and we were accompanying her. This was at 6:00 PM which was just incredibly bizarre. The lobby bar had a nice wine selection, and provided us wine glasses to take to our room. The bottle service was a little over-priced compared to other hotels in Scandinavia.

I found Grand Hotel via American Express and was so happy I booked. The location was PERFECT! Everything walking distance. The staff are all warm and welcoming. I was taken care of by front desk attendant, Emma was who EXCELLENT. She greeted me by name when she saw me come and go from the hotel and made sure I knew she was available for help at any time. I enjoyed the warm pool one day and it was heaven. The rooms were clean and the room service crew did an excellent job. Im very happy with my stay!

An outstanding hotel in every way. The rooms were comfortable, elegant, and very well maintained, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The highlight was definitely the breakfast buffet. It offered an incredible variety of fresh, high-quality food, with something for every taste. Everything was beautifully presented, delicious, and constantly replenished. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. The location is also excellent, making it easy to explore Oslo on foot. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended!
