John was an awesome guide who taught us many interesting facts about Osaka. The tour was the perfect length and he was very patient with our group. He offered to take photos and help with any questions we had after the tour.

Got to experience Osaka Castle.and then some parts of Osake city. John the guide was very knowledgeable and knew a lot of history about Japan and the change from samurai tona new way. We learnt so much about the 3 biggest influencers in Japanese history and the journey of Osake castle. Even the history just walking through the city was interesting!! Highly recommended

Tim was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Like traveling with your best friend. Pace was very easy and flexible. Sights were great to see especially for a person visiting Osaka for the first time. Small group size made it even more enjoyable.

To co start with I must say, I knew we are in good hands because before the tour started I had a WhatsApp message from James ( day prior) saying hi and confirming the details of meeting place and making sure we knew where and when to meet and what to expect from the tour. He was absolute joy to spent the day with. Very knowledgeable and very well informed. He took us to places we wouldn’t otherwise have known about and he explained every detail of the culture and history without fail. Very considerate of all the people in tue group as we were a small but diverse group of people in physical ability. I could not recommend this tour enough, specifically if you are lucky enough to meet James. The day was long and the miles were far more than any of us had planned but everyone walked away with a huge smile on their faces. Huge thanks to James.

Our walking tour with Daniel was amazing. He is very fun and made the day very enjoyable. We say the Osaka castle and learned some history around that time. Moving through the neighborhoods was very interesting. Daniel also stayed in touch offering restaurant suggestions.

What a wonderful tour this was. We really enjoyed the sites we saw. But John, our tour guide is what made it a really great day. His knowledge and insights were very informative. We had beautiful weather during this 5 hour tour. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to see some highlights of Osaka but may only have limited time. Loved the Dontonbori area.

John was an amazing host! I was a bit intimidated by the 5hour duration but he made the time fly by with his conversation and history knowledge. I am no foodie but, he took us to a quaint restaurant and I tried some foods that I definitely would not have tried if it wasn’t for the tour. I definitely recommend .

Daniel is really chill, funny, and knowledgeable about the history of the Osaka region, along with other areas of Japan. He made sure we got around town safely and explained many details of Osaka, Japan. I would recommend him for future tours.

This was the best tour of our entire holiday. Gavin our guide was exceptional. His English was perfect and because he has lived and studied in Australia (Perth) he was able to describe the differences between Australian and Japanese culture and lifestyle so articulately. His knowledge of Japanese history, culture and even economic facts was incredible so we all learnt so much. Our family group included adults in their 40/50/60’s and young adults in their early twenties and we were all mesmerised for the entire 5 hours. No easy feat! Gavin was interesting, funny and entertaining for the whole tour. You can’t do better than this tour and you will be very lucky if Gavin is your guide!

Wonderfully interesting 5 hour walk of Osaka with our guide, Adam Smith. Adam was able to share his in depth knowledge of Osaka's history and culture with his memorable stories. He kept us moving in a relaxed good humoured way, so that we didn't miss out on any of the sights. And lunch was delicious!

We had an amazing time on this walking tour of Osaka led by our guide, Daniel. The tour started when we all met him at the meetup spot just outside Osakajōkōen Station at 10 am and lasted until 3 pm in Kuromon Market. We got to walk by and see many noteworthy attractions in Osaka, such as Osaka Castle, Namba, Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street, Dotonbori, and more. Lunch was included with the tour and it was delicious! Daniel was an awesome and knowledgeable tour guide who did a great job guiding us throughout the day. His commentary was excellent, he took lots of great photos for us, and he gave us many restaurant recommendations to visit after the tour. Writing We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our full-day Osaka walking tour with Takashi (aka Davin)! He was incredibly personable, kind, and knowledgeable, and his friendly personality made the entire day such a pleasure. This was my second time taking this tour, and he still managed to make it feel fresh, interesting, and fun. Fantastic tour of Osaka with Davin! All the sights were better than I remember from 20 years ago and Davin was great with his local knowledge and went above and beyond helping the tour members with recipes, directions, and observations on life in Japan. Best tour guide we had in our 10 day Japan vacation!
