Learned so much that I had to go to kitchen street to buy the materials to take home. Lots of new combination ideas
Fun, good English and good teachers. If you would like to learn sushi, this is a great class. Just need to reach 100 characters to press send
We had the best time making sushi and learning about Japanese culture. Teachers were amazing! Highly recommend.
Very fun class and nice hosts. Ended up learning a lot about sushi and left with a full belly! 10/10
Class was wonderful. Small group. The teachers spoke slowly, never rushed anyone. The finished product was delicious. Learned and ate lunch. Great value. Lovely, lovely people.
I had an amazing experience with this sushi class. The instructor was very knowledgeable and shared information about the history of sushi and different fun facts. I highly recommend this class, very beginner-friendly! Also very doable as a solo class:)
The instructors were knowledgeable and thorough with the teaching. We had our daughter and she was able to sit with us during the class and participate. We had a great time!
Excellent class. Very small class with excellent instruction/information at a very fair price. Plus, we made a LOT of food, which we ate towards the end. Go hungry!! Also very convenient location. The same place offers a ramen making class, which I’m sure is equally as good.
Excellent class! Highly recommended and would do their ramen and gyoza class if I had more time! Lovely teachers and very knowledgeable. The quality of the food we made was out of this world.
This was the best class ever! Interactive, the facilitators were super nice and knowledgeable and I definitely couldn’t recommend it enough if you’re looking to learn how to make different types of sushi, misso soup and also learn a bit more about the Japanese culture and history behind the ingredients.
Fantastic morning learning how to make sushi with Yoko. Great teacher, very knowledgeable and spoke clear English. Thoroughly recommend this experience. Thank you.
It was great! We learned a lot! Also we ate yummy sushi made with our own hands. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this class!!! Thank you!!
The Sushi Class was nice, they explained really nice. we could ask questions. And for sure, the highlight to eat the sushi at the end.
It was one of the best classes I have attended while travelling. Very well explained Taking back so many learnings n tips
Had a great time learning how to make sushi and miso with my husband and kids!! While the hosts were super nice, they were not very dynamic. The place was a bit hard to find since it’s inside a building that’s kind of hidden, so I recommend getting there early. But overall we loved the experience!
We prepared an entire sushi plate with different kind of sushi style. The result looked amazing. My family could not believe that I had prepared the sushi plate by myself when I showed them pictures at home. Very well structured course, learned a lot, thanks.
Sakura cook ran an outstanding class. Everything was so well organized, beautifully prepared, and thoroughly explained. Our chef was patient with all the questions I had above the basics as I already had a little experience making sushi, and also with one of the participants who was having physical difficulties. The main chef and her assistant both communicated well in English.
Great class! The instructors were excellent English speakers and gave clear instructions. They spoke of Japanese traditional foods and how the regions very. I highly recommend this class!
This class was a highlight of our trip! The instructor is clear and precise. She was fun and clearly enjoys cooking, teaching, and people. I never would have thought I could make good looking and good tasting sushi, but that's what happened!
We did the cooking class today as a couple from London. It was brilliant and worth 5*. The teachers were so thorough and clear with their instructions - their English is brilliant and they really help you with every step. It’s a max class of 4 so easy to follow and very intimate. You make 3 different types of sushi, egg rolls and miso soup. You get loads of food to eat at the end in the sushi class too and they cater and understand dietary requirements like vegetarian. Highly recommend what a great morning :-)
Wonderful experience! We were able to learn to make so many things. Instructors were absolutely fantastic. Ingredients were delicious and sushi turned out so yummy. Only hiccup was Google Maps took us to the building directly across the street… took a few minutes to find “Master Residence Dotonburi I”. There is a placard on the correct building that says so. But I only write that just as a heads up in case someone else comes across that.
Great sushi making class! The ladies are very friendly and helpful and we learnt a lot. Would definitely recommend
My 12yo son and I both love sushi but it seems difficult to make. Ami and Jaimi were very patient, detailed and prepared with pre-cooked sushi rice and meats. We learned how to make EggRoll, which I thought would be so difficult but we mastered it. We took lots of photos of our fun day as my son really enjoyed it. It was unexceptionable class and lunch because it was made with love and passion. We can't wait to share these skills with our family ❤️
Excelllent class. Very personalised as only 4 of us. Brilliant teacher. Great insight into the three different types of sushi.
We had a hard time finding the location, but when we did, we were welcome and everyone was so friendly. Learned much more than we thought we would.
My mouth is still watering when I recall the delicious sushi and miso and ramen we cooked under the careful watch and instructions of the Cooking Sun team. The place where classes are held is super nice, lit, clean and the team of skilled ladies that I had the pleasure to be trained by was extremely nice, had good knowledge of their cooking, could answer a lot of questions and gave us tons of good tips. I'll probably go to new classes with them next time I'm in Osaka
Had a great morning learning to make Sushi. Our teacher was very good with great English. Then at the end eating all the food and Miso soup was delicious and so filling.
We had a great time making Sushi with Cooking Sun Osaka! The instructors were very friendly, informative, patient, and engaging! We would definitely take another class with them should we return to the area.
The two instructors were very nice and helpful. The experience was super fun, we were able to participate in almost all steps of making sushi not just the assembly. The 3 types of sushi we made were fun and tasted amazing!
We enjoyed our sushi making class together with yoshi! Yoshi was the one who taught us different kinds of sushi. We highly recommend!
Could not recommend this class enough! The instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable. The class was an incredibly fun experience and the sushi at the end was some of the best I'd had on my trip
This is a fantastic sushi lesson for anyone who enjoys sushi. Lots of good little tips and tricks for preparation of traditional dishes and highly informative. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a great overall experience. Definitely want to take their ramen or bento class next time we are in Japan. Domo arigto gozaimasu! Hope to see you guys again soon!
The ramen and gyoza class was very good! Well organized and clear directions provided. We had fun making our own ramen noodles. Very much enjoyed the generous servings of homemade ramen with chicken soboro topping and gyoza at the end of class that we had made.
We had a lot of fun. The sushi class was very good organized and we had a lot of delicious sushi to eat after finishing making our three types of sushi.
The two nice ladies spoke good English and could teach us a lot. Everything was well organized and we learned the basics in the short time to hopefully make sushi ourselves at home. Thank you so much!
Súper experiencia :) Me tocó cocinar sola con el staff y fue lo máximo, muy lindas! Las instalaciones muy profesionales
