Skip the line was great we went strait in without any wait leaving a very long line behind andgetting to enjoy the tour
There is a lot of walking through beautiful grounds and inside. The view was excellent and the displays were very informative.
Quick and easy access to the castle saved lining up in the heat. Caught the express lift to level 5 and walked up to the level 8 lookout.
"Steeped in history and surrounded by beauty, Osaka Castle stands as a timeless symbol of Japan's rich past and vibrant present
I was solo traveling in Japan. I had a day trip to Osaka and went to the castle for a bit of history. The place was CROWDED, so opted to start at the very top of the castle (8-stories, took the stairs) and work my way down. I also opted for an audio guide. It helped get through the exhibits faster since I could stand a bit away and listen to the descriptions. It was an interesting visit and worthwhile if you're into history.
The tickets were emailed and messaged 24 hours after purchase (it isn't instant). Having tickets allowed us to skip the line to buy tickets (prob saved half an hour) and we headed straight i to the castle. Definitely worth it. The castle is spectacular!
Osaka Castle is a beautiful landmark rich in history, offering rare exhibits that bring Japan’s samurai era to life. It’s a must-visit for anyone eager to explore Japanese culture and history firsthand. Surrounded by beautiful gardens it’s a memorable educational experience.
This ticket permitted us to immediately enter on arrival. Skipping the queue for ticket purchase. Well worth it especially on a rainy day. Osaka castle is well worth seeing
Visiting the garden was really nice! We had lunch at the rooftop bar which I don’t recommend! Very over priced and didn’t get a lot of food. I honestly wouldn’t waste time and money to go into the Osaka castle. It’s a little boring. But go and visit, as it’s still beautiful
I learned a lot about the history of Osaka Castle as well as the wars and conflicts that resulted in what has become modern day Japan. The building has AC which is great in the summer, it has a few souvenir shops throughout the castle, and the building itself is a marvelous spectacle of old Japanese architecture.
Provision of tickets hopeless. Never got to attend process is useless. I’m never going to use Viator again.
Very disappointed, bought tickets online , but when we got there, no one could download code, because it was nonexisting..had to pay again for tickets at the window, and initiated refund/cancelation, with message from TripAdvisor that refund will be $0 , even thought it was during grace period of 24 hrs cancelation..willnever use TripAdvisor again
Excellent very nice experience, the beautiful luhare, with lots of history, I got tickets on time
There's a lot of people. We were there on a Monday and it was almost impossible to get around. The exhibition itself is fine. There is air conditioning, which was really nice.
Nice, but too decentralized compared to other tourist attractions and definitely too crowded.
