Kieran was really amazing. I highly recommend him. We only had a few hours in Osaka and at the last minute, one of our group members was in a wheelchair. Nevertheless, Kieran knew exactly where we could go and what we would like. He was so friendly and knowledgeable.

This was the most fun tour, excellent value and flexibility. Our guide Kieran met us at our hotel and showed us Osaka: the castle, the colorful history museum, the popular retro New World neighborhood, the Kuromon market. Kieran was very informative and caring. Without a wonderful guide like Kieran we would have been lost in the maze of Osaka underground shops and subways. Despite bad weather, we had the best time.

Kieran Morgan was a most exceptional tour guide in Osaka. He had encyclopedic knowledge of Osaka and Japan in general. Kieran was very accommodating to our needs, and very flexible, friendly and professional. He put our needs and wishes first, while making great choices of what to show us. Kieran is an amazing tour guide and human being. We booked a private Osaka walking and food tour, as well as a private Kyoto walking tour on separate days. Kieran is Canadian, but lives in Osaka and is fluent in Japanese. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Japanese culture and history. Both tours were highly customized to our preferences, and we were able to add things to the itinerary on the spot (such as seeing a giesha performance). We appreciated that he let us stop at random shops to try different foods, and purchase matcha, pottery, and even some vintage video games. Kieran is also a very funny and personable guy, so spending a day with him is very enjoyable. You will not be disappointed going on a tour with Kieran. Thank you Kieran!!

I need to be picked up at an alternative location and left a message - he responded very quickly and was able to make the accommodation. He knew the history of Japan Royal Family and easily answered any questions we had, he was very good with my son who is confined to wheelchair and took time with him, the day went very well

Kieran greeted us very warmly and was quite knowledgeable about the Osaka Castle and surrounding area,he took us step by step thru the Castle grounds and showed us the historical facts from the 16th century, so interesting... We asked questions and he had the answers for us about Japan Royal Family at that time...the castle was built

We had a great guide, Elijah. Friendly, helpful and understood that we could not walk fast as we had a 94 year old gentleman with us. He could answer our questions about things we wanted to know about the country and/or Osaka. And gave a super tip where we could go the next day. That was the aquarium. A nice place to visit indeed. Our guide Diego was excellent! He came and got us from our hotel and took us by train to the Osaka castle. We were keen to get a cup of coffee and something to eat and very kindly took us to a cafe close to the castle. He kept talking us through nuances of Japanese culture and the castle’s history through our coffee and until we got to the castle. He gave us a lot of context about the history and as we were fans of the show Shogun, he helped explain us through the references from the show which was so cool! We then took a train to Shinsekai and enjoyed the vibrant area with a glass of beer and snack and then he showed us through the alleys to a fantastic gyoza place! He then took us to Dotonburi where our tour ended. He was kind enough to send us recommendations for our upcoming Kyoto trip until the day after which was so very kind of him. Thank you Diego.. you made our visit to Osaka special :)

This 4-hour custom tour was a great way to explore Osaka. In just a few hours, we managed to see and learn a lot about the city. From Osaka Castle to Dotonbori and Shinsekai – plus plenty of cool side streets in between – it was a really nice mix of the main highlights and hidden spots we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. Although it wasn't a food tour, our guide Kieran also took us to a few local restaurants and bars along the way, which we appreciated and really enjoyed. Kieran was a great guide – friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to chat with. As a native English speaker who’s fluent in Japanese and has lived in Osaka for years, he was able to share lots of interesting insights about the city, the history, and everyday life in Japan. We found it was actually great to have a non-Japanese guide. Kieran offered a unique perspective on living in Japan as a Westerner, which made the experience feel more relatable and gave us the chance to ask all sorts of questions. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed way to explore Osaka.

6 miles of walk, rainy day but she took us in many covered areas. She was fun and helped us order Katsura and octopus balls as well as 2 other fun dishes!

We had such a great experience with our private tour in Osaka! Kieran reached out the day before via WhatsApp and text, which made everything really easy and convenient. He met us right outside our Airbnb, and from the start, it felt like we were exploring the city with a friend. We spent the day walking through Osaka and visiting the major sites—my favorite was the Emperor’s Palace, which was absolutely beautiful. After the energy and pace of Tokyo, Osaka was such a nice change—quieter, more relaxed, and just a really enjoyable vibe. Kieran spoke perfect English and was incredibly helpful, even showing us tips on how to use the train system and navigate the city on our own. The weather was gorgeous, the sights were amazing, and the entire day felt easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Osaka! Kieran was incredibly knowledgeable and very patient throughout the entire tour. He even took the time to bring me into a few local shops and explain what different items were, which made the experience feel much more personal and immersive. He shared fantastic restaurant and shopping recommendations for the rest of our trip and even offered to help us get back on the train afterward, which we really appreciated. Osaka is truly stunning and magical, and with Kieran as our guide, it ended up being the best day of our trip so far from the U.S. to Japan. This tour was fantastic. Kieran was great. As he is from Toronto his english is perfect. He took us to see the Osaka castle then to visit the night life/ food area, where he took us to two local, off the beaten track, restaurants where we sampled authentic Osaka food. He was incredibly helpful, introducing us to Japanese culture and in general, helping is with our orientation in this incredible city

My mother and I visited Osaka and had the pleasure of touring the city with Kieran. He was extremely knowledgeable and took us around town to see the neighborhoods and attractions. He answered all of our questions and we used public transportation with him which made things easy and simple because he is very familiar with the trains and stations. A great plus is that he speaks great Japanese so he could communicate with anyone! He was also very flexible when we wanted to stop in certain shops and stores that flexibility and patience is greatly appreciated! He was friendly and we had great conversations as well! This was a fantastic tour. I went with my disabled mother who gets around using a powered wheelchair. Getting around in Japan that way can be tricky, but Kieran knew exactly how to navigate the Osaka mass transit system with the wheelchair, which made things very easy. I'm an historian and was hoping to find someone who knew the history of Osaka, especially in the Sengoku and Edo periods, and Kieran was able to answer all of my questions. He also had a wealth of useful information about the modern city and its history that helped me really understand what I was looking at as we toured the city. Extremely personable and very helpful, we couldn't have asked for a better guide or a better experience. Very highly recommended!

Having Kieran as a personal guide was wonderful! We did not have to guess how to use the subway and decide what stop to get off at. He walked us through everything. I really loved that Kieran did Not have a strong accent and we were able to understand each other easily. Kieran helping us made us feel much more confident in Osaka.
