Great sights, good background knowledge on information behind the stores and the history of Osaka and Tokyo and Kyoto and Kobe. Very friendly, was able to speak English really well, and translates. Now feeling more confident in being able to get around Japan. Our tour guide Ryo made things interpersonal and was able to relate to both my self and my wife in different ways because of our unique likes and dislikes and tailor references / recommendations to tailor us. Gold star to Ryo! Thank you soo much 🙏

Fun walking tour seeing all the excitement of Dotonobori The place is a maze and I doubt I would have seen half of it without a guide. We also did a lovely walk along the river and stopped at a Shinto Shrine for pregnant women. Great time.

Rio was a great tour guide. The tour was interesting and fun. Totally recommended!
Matt was a great guide and could answer any and every question! Meeting point was a little confusing - just remember to look UP for the penguin. We ended up in the Pachinko parlour HAHAHA
We ended up the only folks on the tour, organized by Localized Walking, Biking and Food tours, and this became a private tour, which went at our pace that worked out just great. The guide (forgot his name) was quite friendly, patient and informative. What stood out, was the Dotonbori district, a vibrant entertainment place, with a lively atmosphere, great eateries and cool sights along the canal. We also walked through the Kuromon market, famous for seafood and local delicacies. And ended up at the Doguya Suji or Kitchenware street, where we got a smaller version of the famous Japanese kitchen knife. Our guide then pointed us to a side street where there was a restaurant popular among the locals, which ended being a great culinary experience. All in all great tour and good value for money.
It was amazing! Ryo was so lovely and informative!! It was very interesting with loads to see but not too tiring as we could stop to try things along the way! Would definitely recommend!!! Thank you Ryo for an incredible day learning about Osaka and all its comedic intricacies :))))
Because of the weather I got a private tour but the guide was super knowledgeable about the area and had the history locked in! He was able to answer all my questions and helped me take some cool photos. Would book again!

Really interesting and informative walk through Osaka. Our guide was Ryo who spoke perfect English. We recommend this tour. We booked through GuruWalk (which we also recommend)
Great tour! Matt was an extraordinary guide who gave us tons of food recommendations!
I highly recommend booking a tour with Osaka Localized! We had a wonderful time exploring the city with Jay. He was excellent at explaining Osaka's history and culture, and our shared ties to New York made the experience feel so personal. The tour was perfectly customized to our interests, and he was very mindful of the heat. A highlight was his patience—as a parent himself, he was so kind when he paused the tour to let our kids explore a capsule toy shop. We also left with fantastic food and shopping recommendations that we never would have found on our own. A true highlight of our trip!
Great tour, Mat our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. One advise is to take this tour on a cool day . The streets are super hot in summer, 36 celcius is very hot…
I had a great experience on this walking tour with Rio! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour fun and interesting from start to finish.
