Operator very inflexible and would not let me change my tour date to the next day after I booked the wrong day on accident. I contacted them immediately after and they refused even though they had open availability for that new day. Unacceptable behavior towards customers, would not book again.

The tour was amazing, Salvatore our guide took us around and had a lot of fun experiences and got to know the history of the area, we weren’t able to find the meeting spot but he was able to pick us up too!

We got to see a lot of areas and try the takiyaki. Nikko was great. Told us a lot and was very kind. We helped us buy our metro tickets and walked us to the correct platform. He was going a different way, but he still took us to where we needed to get on and typed out notes to follow. So kind!

Our tour guide J was phenomenal, covering so much ground! We met at Starbucks after near the Osaka Castle and walked or rode the train everywhere else. J was very friendly to everyone and offered many times to take photos for us. He knows all the best photo spots and takes really good pictures too! The tour includes takoyaki and a drink. You may also want to bring your own snack and water bc it is a long tour and a lot of walking. After doing this tour we feel like we have a better grasp of Osaka’s highlights and a bit of history and culture as well. J was also willing to recommend places to eat or shop according to our interests. Thank you J for a fantastic day!

The Osaka tour was absolutely fantastic… Our guide Salvatore was wonderful and very fun. He was very flexible in adjusting our plans to help visit wherever we wanted to see. He included a trip to TOHO Cinemas to watch a movie as well as included a trip to see many of the classic anime and figurines. He also accompanied us on a trip to Kobe and helped us find an authentic meal. His insight into the local customs and best vantage points for pictures made for a spectacular visit. The tour takes you around the castle. If you have already been inside the castle, there is some repeat stuff. Our guide ‘J’ was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke very easy to understand English.
It was a good tour in that we got to visit places that we most likely would not have gone on our own. The only thing we hoped we could’ve had more of was some historical perspective. For example, we would’ve loved to have some more historical context at the Osaka castle. Also, because you’re taking trains to get from one place to another, the guide needs to be cognizant of all group members’ whereabouts as some folks in our group could not keep up and were getting lost.
Bao was a great guide. He explained the history of the castle and all the tour sites. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining cultural and religious traditions. We were very impressed with his knowledge and understanding of the history of Osaka.

He had a great grasp of the long history of the city and was able to convey the feel of the city and its people well. It was very obvious that he has a deep love for Osaka and its people. A great trip to get to know Osaka. Our walking tour guide Bal/Val is excellent. He took us to walk around the town supplemented with subway rides. We visited key spots such as Osaka castle and markets. Our guide has lots of local knowledge and gave us the full run down on history and background of Osaka. Truly educational.
