I had a great experience with the walking tour, not only because of the amazing and cultural Osaka, but also because of our guide Moe who is really extraordinary person with her rich knowledge about the city and her energetic smile and kindness.

We really enjoyed our time with Moe! It happened to be just my wife and me on the tour, and she was very flexible about adjusting the itinerary based on what we had already seen the night before and what interested us most. We spent more time in the knife district, where we were able to do some shopping, and also got to explore more of the anime district. Osaka Castle, where the tour started, was another highlight for us. Moe is currently a medical student in Kyoto, but she was also very knowledgeable about Osaka and made sure we never felt rushed. We really appreciated the flexibility after several long days of traveling. Wishing her all the best with her medical studies!

Wonderful experience with Moe! We ended up being slightly delayed, but she managed to take us along the intended route regardless, and accommodated to our needs along the way (a pit stop for lunch, hunting for cutlery). She's knowledgeable of history, despite being young. Appreciated the fun!

Moe was an awesome guide! We got delayed in transit between metro stations and were late to the activity. But Moe still got us on the tour and was always cheerful. The tour of the castle was excellent with historic explanation of events by Moe making it memorable one for our family. We definitely recommend this tour and specifically Moe as the tour guide. She takes best pictures too!!

We spent the time today with Moe in a beautiful Osaka castle. First we were late but Moe was so kind and waited for us to start the tour around the beautiful castle. We loved talking with Moe and her knowledge about the Japanese culture. We thank you Moe so much for taking the time to be our guide today! God bless you Moe!

This is a great walking tour which was elevated to one of the best ever by our brilliant guide, *MOE*. Her enthusiasm, knowledge of the area, excellent English language skills and helpfulness (especially when taking photos!) made this a truly exceptional experience and probably the best tour of our time in Japan. Osaka is a brilliant city to visit, the castle tour one of its many highlights.

Mo is an awesome, mature young lady who guided us through Osaka. Her pleasant demeanor and friendly attitude made this day very memorable. Mo was very considerate to our needs and always asked us if we are doing ok. We made a new friend here in Osaka and look forward to coming here again. Being a retired couple we finished the day with 15000 steps and lots memories in addition to a great heartfelt experience 🥰

Moe was absolutely amazing, she has fantastic English and she took her time and shared a lot of things with us. We had a great time and we will totally pick Moe again for another tour while we’re in Japan!

Miri was a lovely and patient guide. She explained the history of Osaka well. We would have liked to have stayed and explored the castle more. The shopping districts were interesting, but we are not shoppers or souvenir collectors. The discrepancy for not understanding the limits of the tour is on us and no reflection of the guide.

We had such a wonderful day exploring Osaka for the first time! We were lucky enough to have our guide all to ourselves and spent a fun & fascinating day seeing plum blossoms, getting gorgeous views of Osaka Castle, visiting bustling Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market, Shinsekai, and Namba. Our guide was wonderful to talk to, was very knowledgeable, and gave us a great overview of the city which is going to be incredibly helpful during the rest of our stay in Osaka. We ended the day with a delicious lunch of gyoza & Osaka-style ramen. So tasty! Would definitely recommend this tour to other Western visitors & came away saying we had a great day that was very well spent!

This was a good way to visit the Osaka castle grounds, learn about the Shoguns and Edo period history, visit different neighborhoods and markets, sample food. Everything was timed well.

Shizuka was a fantastic guide. My husband and I ended up with a private tour and had a great day! Shizuoka was knowledgeable about all of our stops and accommodating to my recent knee injury. The tour is a great way to start off your visit to Osaka.

Hikaru was an amazing tour guide! She explained the great detail about history of the castle and she even brought a booklet to show the stories and characters around the castle. We had a pleasant time to take a ride in the subway and had delicious food in downtown area. I really enjoyed this tour.

Our tour with Akari and Genki was amazing. Their knowledge and experience gave us a deeper understanding of both the castle and its history. They also took the time to answer our questions, which really helped us gain a better appreciation of the Japanese culture.

We spent the morning walking around Osaka with our guide Shizuka. She was kind, knowledgeable, patient and fun. We saw Osaka Castle, a number of markets and got a wonderful feel for the city.

Akari is one of the best guides I’ve met. She was able to explain complex historical events in a way that’s very easy to comprehend even for someone who has no previous knowledge on Japanese history. Plus, throughout the tour, she was very attentive to everyone in the group. As a local of Osaka, she was able to share a wealth of knowledge on local culture & places. She gave us excellent recommendations on stores to visit to find what we’re looking for, and also went above and beyond by offering her help after the tour ended. For me, our conversations are also hugely valuable. This tour covers a lot of the ‘deep Osaka’ parts of the city, where we can see the bold & vibrant culture of Osaka. Having a local guide from Osaka certainly enhanced the authenticity of the experience. In such a big city it can be confusing for first-time visitors to know which area to visit to get an authentic experience. This tour packs them all in one!

It was a great tour fun mix of history and markets. The tour guide was very friendly . We liked walking in around the Palace and getting to know some history.

Hiraku our guide was very good at allowing us the time to experience our itinerary without rushing. Her explanation of the Osaka Castle was very informative and humorous. We made a foodie stop in one of the markets and enjoyed what she called a snack but really was a nice local lunch. She also helped us find the subway to get back to our hotel. We had a great tour with Hiraku.

Great tour around Osaka! Perfect if you want to explore the city but are short on time. My tour guide, Akari, was absolutely wonderful! She was a wealth of information. She gave great insight about Osaka and Japanese culture and also shared helpful tips about restaurants and shopping nearby. Bonus…Akari pointed out photo ops and graciously took our pictures.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Osaka Castle Walking Tour with our guide Miri who was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. She spoke very good English and answered all of the questions we had which added to the experience. We specifically chose the 1 hour tour which went at a good pace as there were only 4 of us on the tour so it wasn’t rushed while covering lots of ground. The castle was SPECTACULAR as were the gardens and learning about the history was fascinating. Miri was very diligent at picking the best vantage points to take photos which was great so we have lasting memories. Highly recommend the 1 hour tour as you get to see it all without feeling compromised with a shorter tour !

We had not only a delightful but a very interesting tour of Osaka’s most representative sites. In a very well organized and structured walking tour, Shizuka was able to give us a very comprehensive and enjoyable visit of Osaka’s main attractions and points of interest. Her command of English is remarkable as well as her kindness. We were very fortunate to take this tour with her.

This was a great walking tour of Osaka!! The group size was perfect and everyone was so engaging and respectful. Our guide, Shizuka, was phenomenal as she showed us many different parts of Osaka from the Osaka Castle to historic shopping streets, markets, and districts, and finishing at the Glico Running Man sign!! We even stopped briefly and sat down for some okonomiyaki, noodles, and a beverage. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to have fun!!

The guide was lovely and knowledgeable. She took us via train and foot and knew her way round the city so well and could answer all our questions . My only negative is that unlike with other tours we did not have the benefit of messaging beforehand so due to the taxi dropping us at the main entrance rather than closer to the meeting spot at Starbucks we missed the first half hour - we didn’t want to keep others waiting so joined when we did meet up thanks to the tour operator calling me and directing me via face time to the next meeting spot ! Pre contact would have prevented any confusion I feel

The tour led by Satsuki and aided by Hikaru was a phenomenal introduction to Osaka. We came for a day trip and left feeling like locals with an in-depth understanding of the city's best sights, eats, and pastimes. The guides were refreshing to talk to, and made for a genuine experience. It was a benefit to learn from students!

We’ve been in Japan for two weeks, and this was truly one of the best tours we’ve done. Satsuki was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories. She brought Osaka’s history to life as we explored Osaka Castle and learned about Nobunaga and Hideyoshi. After that, we wandered through different markets and sampled several of the local foods, our favorite being the famous takoyaki (octopus balls) from her recommended spot. She even led us through a lively shopping district where our new friends tried puffer fish (and thankfully lived to tell the tale!). Satsuki never rushed us, answered every question with patience and humor, and made the entire morning so enjoyable. It was a spectacular experience, and we’d highly recommend her tour to anyone visiting Osaka!

Our guide Shizuka was awesome. Showed us the sights, explained the history. We would have never navigated the route by ourselves. Well worth the money.

I booked the Osaka Early Morning Tour with English -Speaking Guide. While visiting I wanted to absorb as much about Osaka as I could. I have taken a few tours all including the Osaka Castle with each operator giving different facts & exploring the sites on the grounds. My tour guide Susan was fantastic! She was informative & gave me a different view of all the sites we visited! It was an interactive tour. She took us a great place for lunch which was delicious & a nice break in the tour. We were able to try a fruit drink from one of the vendors & look in a few stores! I will be revisiting some of the places we saw to do some shopping! A great tour to book while you’re in Osaka…a place for great food & fun!

Akari gave us a very detailed and interesting tour of Osaka Castle. She was able to tell us about the history and architecture, and we also had a nice conversation about Japan. We can recommend her and would book this tour again.
