We had a wonderful experience with Shehab, getting some great insight into the Dotonburi area of Osaka. The short boat cruise at night was a fantastic way to see all the lighted billboards.

This was a great tour, Katie taught us so much about the main strip of Osaka that we otherwise would have missed out on. The tour was engaging, well paced and Katie knew so many quirky local facts it really added to it. Would recommend this trip towards the start of your Osaka experience because it opens up so many future meals!

Walked around the Dotonbori area of Osaka where the guide talked about the stores and restaurants. Followed by a 20 minute cruise on the canal in a pontoon boat. The river cruise guide only spoke Japanese so we had no clue what he was talking about during the cruise.

Raul was the best Osaka guide! He was very informed, punctual, and super nice. It was the first thing we did when we got to Osaka, and it made the trip that much better. He was very interesting, and easy to talk to. We wanted to find some great food after the tour, and his recommendations were absolutely on point. Best food ive had in Japan so far. I would definitely come back, and immediatley book the tour with Raul. You will not regret this decision.

The instructions for meeting up need to be a bit clearer. We were not the only ones to struggle to find the correct meeting point. As a result, things seemed a little disorganized at the start. The guide seemed generally knowledgeable, but had only recently moved to Osaka, I believe. The tour seemed to mainly focus on restaurants and their history, but there were certainly some great recommendations and interesting facts there 👍 The subsequent boat tour was entirely in Japanese, so pleasant to see the sights, but hard to engage. Finally, I always tip tour guides, so it was a bit off putting to be reminded that the guide was poor and appreciated tips.
