Instead of simply buying souvenir chopsticks, create a pair that is truly your own. Choose your favorite from a variety of beautiful woods, each with its own unique color, grain, and character. Using a traditional Japanese “kanna” hand plane, you’ll shape your chopsticks from scratch, smooth the surface by hand, and finish them with natural oil under the guidance of our instructor. For an even more personal touch, you can optionally engrave your name or a special message on the ends of your chopsticks, creating a one-of-a-kind souvenir from your time in Japan. More than just something to take home, you’ll leave with a pair of chopsticks you crafted yourself—and the memory of making them.
Overall, a great experience with such a friendly group of staff. Each staff member offered support in many ways throughout each step of the chopstick making process!! Would highly recommend for people to do this in the future.

Amazing experience even before entering! An employee saw we were lost and let us in the right direction. Alex was calm and instructive the whole time. Even when asking for a personal style engraving, the team would not give up until we solved it. Completely amazing and I'd come back again until I make a perfect set all on my own!!!

Super fun activity! First guide didn’t give us a very clear explanation about the workshop, halfway through we got helped by someone else and he was super helpful! And it’s so much fun to personalize the chopsticks with a little branding on it
