This is a one-of-a-kind workshop that offers a taiko(Japanese drum) experience as an attraction! The experience takes the form of a mission in which the participants are given a mission in the form of a taiko player who has forgotten his memory and shoud be successful in his taiko performance on stage, and at the end of the workshop, they can put on a costume and experience performing on the theatre stage in an innovative structure. A video of this recorded and edited performance will be presented to the experiencers.
Awesome experience with friends, great fun and I’m not musical inclined! Given lots of instruction before your live performance on stage, very energetic and loud. Throughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.
Fun family entertainment. Not only did they teach us, but they videotaped it and sent it to us. What was really fun was I booked the show for the exact same day, so we did the drumming adventure and then an hour later we watched the show. This tied it all together and was a fantastic experience.
The performer/teachers were so enthusiastic that we had no choice but to be excited with them. My legs were hurting on the day of our class, but the drummers got us caught up in the moment. They were incredibly engaging. This was one of the best experiences I had in Japan!

Excellent!! My husband and I had a brilliant time at this experience. It was only the two of us, which honestly made it even more fun. At first, the moves feel a bit overwhelming to learn but you really quickly settle into the rhythm of it, and Yuya-san and the others were so high energy and funny - it didn’t feel daunting if you made a mistake. We loved it so much we stayed for the Osaka Night Fusion show after - I can’t recommend it enough.
The class was small but the instructors were attentive. They’re high energy and very encouraging. Overall, there’s a few beat combos and the whole routine is less than 5 minutes. Very low stakes way to try something new. Don't be shy! Mistakes will happen but the show will go on! It made me want to come back to see them perform and that was amazing!
This was an amazing experience. First of all, SUPER cheap and great value - cost me 26USD and nobody else signed up, so it was three drummers instructing just me for an hour. You'll learn a bunch of drumming, posing, and shouting patterns that eventually turn into a full song. They were all very energetic, fun, and great teachers, and really make you feel like you're one of them by the end of it. I was also quite amused and deeply honoured that they asked me a few times if I was Japanese (I'm not, but could physically pass and speak the language decently), and finally told me I have "日本の魂" (a Japanese soul). Amazing Taiko Drum Experience! We had such an incredible time at the Tempo Drums Taiko experience! The energy was absolutely electric from start to finish — the drumming was powerful, fun, and completely immersive. The instructors were so engaging and made it easy for everyone to join in, no matter their age or skill level. Our kids especially loved it and haven’t stopped talking about it since! It’s the perfect mix of music, movement, and teamwork. We’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience!
A fun emersive playful experiance. The hosts were excellent and we had a great time on the drums. I was sightly sceptical when I booked but enjoyed myself! This isn't a history lesson it's a fun hands on activity!

Being Taiko players in the UK and having done some training in Japan in the past, this was the best pert of our trip. We had difficulty downloading the video we went back to watch the actual show. Afterwards the guys helped us do this as our Japanese is embryonic! Amazing experience and. We will do it again when we get back to Osaka one day! Thank you so much
As professional musicians we always wanted to play on a Taiko drum! And this experience gave us this chance. It was a very energetic show, where you learned some rythems on the drums in a very playful way! So if you are in Osaka and near the aquarium, go and enjoy playing the Taiko drum! Even if you don't have a musical background. The energetic teachers alone makes it 100% worthwhile! 100% would recommend and a must go when you're in Osaka!

I’m part of a drum circle at the New Orleans Veterans Hospital. I can’t wait to share this with them. The experience was exhilarating and exhausting at the same time. I saw Tokyo Night Fusion right after this.
You won't regret it. We all had a great time from parents to two teenagers (boys). The instructors were engaging and funny. We were surprised that we learned the routine in under an hour... got the video to prove it. We paid additional money to watch their performance afterward. Memorable experience!

If you like Japan anime and culture, you would love to try this drums activity in Osaka!! Me and my partner tried this great and once in a lifetime activity just beside the Kaiyukan Aquarium. This is a new tourist spot in Osaka so you would be the first ones to experience this activity. The practice of the drums would take for about 20-30 minutes and you will perform as one of the main character of an ANIME story and such a great and memorable experience in Osaka! 11/10 for this ONCE IN A LIFETIME DRUMS ACTIVITY!
This was super fun! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have fun in Osaka. The hosts were super engaging and made the event very dynamic. You get to play Japanese drums and have fun while doing it. Anyone can do the activity and no previous experience is required. The venue is fantastic and the presentation was phenomenal.

This was a such a fun experience! The energetic hosts made the experience really engaging, fun and memorable. The whole backstory leading up to the performance and drum learning experience was absolutely adorable to follow up as the main characters of the story. You also get a cute mini certificate after the whole thing. I would 1000% recommend to anyone who has an hour to spare and to just try it out. It's really near the Osaka Aquarium and the 2nd lowest mountain Tenpozan so you can definitely try to slot this into your schedule!
This was a really fun and immersive experience! We were on a real performance stage while learning how to play taiko, and it ended with us actually performing the piece we learned. I can't believe I was able to learn how to play taiko in just an hour, and I even got a video of the performance as a nice keepsake. The actors/performers who taught us how to play were friendly and entertaining. They kept the atmosphere light and really brought a fun-loving energy to the experience.
I had a fun time at the Wadaiko Rhythm Quest! In just one hour, we were taught a taiko piece, then we rehearsed and performed it in Japanese costumes. We were sent a video of our performance through email. The performers/teachers were kind and funny. I enjoyed watching them and learning from them. It was a great experience taiko and we even got a cool video as a souvenir! I shared the video with my friends and family and they were impressed 😄
The Wadaiko Rhythm Quest was such a good experience. The guys who taught us how to the drums were very cool and energetic. They really paitent enough to teach us and they did it a very fun way. I really enjoyed the performance. It makes me want to study Japanese drums. This is something that anyone should try while here in Japan. 100 recommended!

SO MUCH FUN! Wonderful family friendly activity, my son is 8 and it's the highlight of his experience in Japan It's fun, we got to actually DO something and not just observe (like with many other shows in Japan where you just watch) and Japanese drums are such a unique and powerful instrument, so much adrenaline and joy!
