We had our tour with Emi, she was fantastic with fluent english. She chose excellent snacks - sweet, savoury, big and small, and every one was delicious. She was so informative about Japanese food culture and lots of other interesting facts to, including kitchen knives. A thoroughly enjoyable 3 hours. Thank you Emi

A warm welcome and delightful host. Kortaro was very knowledgeable and helpful. He introduced the food and customs at just the right level and allowed and integrated into the group seamlessly. Food was delicious and generous in portions. The barbecue restaurant was the highlight. Plenty of drinks and a relaxing atmosphere with lots of mixing in a small group of 8. Lovely food and you will not go hungry, kortaro was a great host and very knowledgeable. Well worth doing this tour.
Nozomi was a fabulous guide who taught the group a lot about Japanese cuisine. Really enjoyed the experience
Fantastic food tour of Osaka. We went to three restaurants - off the tourists path. All were great and highlighted a different cooking technique. Our guide, Kai, was amazing. Here culinary background gave us great insight into the Osaka cuisine plus she was kit fun to be with. All in all it was perfect evening that captured the type of authentic experience we were looking for.
We had a lovely time with Kaori on our food tour. She showed us some amazing hidden gems in Temma, including a pottery shop when I mentioned wanting some chopstick rests! The food was amazing and it was a shame it was our last night so we couldn't go back to eat there again.
Our guide Kai, was amazing. She chose 3 exceptional restaurants, provided a great insight into Japanese cuisine and culture and was great company. We had a brilliant time.
Kaori took us to two restaurants and other street food. The food was excelent and she knew all the best places to go. Very friendly guide and we all chatted with her alot. We even went down an alley to a quiet, peaceful street away from the bustle of the other tourists. Thank you Kaori for a great experiance.
We took the Osaka Soul Food Walking Tour with Mayura Kai. Kai was a great tour guide with a good deal of local knowledge and an easy-going personality. We tried a variety of sweet and savoury snacks during a visit to the supermarket and food vendors. Many items were foods we would not have tried without her help. We ended with a ramen dish for lunch and learned that it's not rude to slurp when eating noodles... In fact it's a sign of appreciation. We would definitely recommend a food tour with Kai.
We had an amazing early evening food tour with Kai through Osaka. She took us to fabulous little restaurants we would never have found on our own and shared all her considerable food knowledge and Japanese customs (having been a chef herself for many years). I would highly recommend booking a tour with her if you are in Osaka
We did the Street Food Tour around noon and had a really great time with Emi! Delicious food, very good english speaking guide and also some interesting background information about history, food and culture. Thank you so much! Will definitely recommend to my friends :)

Tour was very organized and accommodating. Mariko was an absolute gem for a tour guide. Went out of her way to accommodate our groups requests and suggestions. Very knowledgeable and providing our group with helpful tips.
This was a great experience. Akiko & Talita are great guides. Lots of interesting information about how the food is and local knowledge and culture. Strongly recommended
We had a fantastic evening visiting three separate restaurants with our guide Kokoro and in the company of our fellow participants Jess and Josh. The food was exceptional and the company was great, relaxed and informative. Kokoro's input was so knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. We saw a side of Japan that we would have missed if we had not taken the tour. Thanks very much, Mary and Jack
My wife and I had a delightful evening with Mayura. She guided us through a restaurant crawl in Osaka. Informative, delicious and such fun. To spend an evening in the Kitchen of Japan with a trained chef of such experience was a highlight of our first visit to Japan. Thank you Mayura.
