Very interesting and fun experience. Lisa was cheerful and friendly, and we had a great time chatting with her as we made our items. I chose this experience for a 10th anniversary (tin!) present, and it was nice to make some personal accessories to mark the occasion and our visit to Osaka!

Itinerary
Put on a traditional artisan outfit and discover the history of Japanese tin craftsmanship, along with the unique properties that have made tinware treasured for centuries. Choose what you'd like to create — from a tin cup to a ring, necklace, bracelet, or other accessories—then melt pure tin under the careful guidance of a friendly local instructor. As you work, enjoy the beautiful patterns that naturally appear on the molten metal. While the tin is still warm, shape it using authentic historical tools. Hammer, adjust, and refine your design until it becomes a one-of-a-kind handmade piece. If you choose to make a tin cup, you'll finish by comparing the flavor of the same drink served in a regular cup and in your handmade tin cup, experiencing firsthand why tinware has long been prized in Japan for enhancing the taste of beverages. The experience includes drinks, snacks, gift packaging, and guidance from an English-speaking local instructor.

What a cool experience! It was very cool to be able to make jewelry and cups myself. I feel like I learned a ton!
Had a great time with the team awesome instructions and help. Really happy with the end result.
Great experience with a little history and clear step by step instructions for forging tin. The forging experience was a lot of fun. The instructors were super knowledgeable and friendly.

Amazing experience, the staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and great instructors.
Great experience and the hosts were amazing!
Arata was a very nice and friendly guide.
Whilst I was uncertain as to how it would turn out, it was thoroughly enjoyable to craft my ring. Both Lisa and Nako were kind, encouraging and knowledgeable on the process and made the entire experience more fun.
Really beautiful and interesting, I'm recommending it to everyone who wants to know better the culture and have a beautiful souvenir
It was really special experience -! ✨ Learn about tin and making it from scratch! So much fun 😀
Such a great find in the middle of Osaka. They offer all kinds of hands-on Japanese experiences, and this time I tried the tin casting workshop and made my own cup. You get to pour the molten tin yourself, which sounds intimidating but the staff walk you through every step. Watching it cool and turn into an actual cup you can drink from is honestly addictive. The staff speak English and are so friendly that even first-timers feel relaxed right away. They help you at exactly the right moments without taking over, so it really does feel like you made it yourself. If you want a souvenir with a story behind it instead of something off a shelf, come here. Highly recommend.
A very fun tin cup tutorial that produces an artifact that you can take home with you and use. Everything is hands on, with good instruction about how to produce well-formed cup or ring, with the option to retry when you inevitably screw it up. A great way to spend an afternoon.
Arata made this one of my favorite experiences for my whole Japanese trip! Guide was super fun and I enjoyed using so many instruments to make my own tin cup. Honestly didn't know tin was such a cool thing before. Definitely the highlight of my trip!
I am so happy how it turned out! The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable that whenever I stuck they were there to help me.
I had such a great time making my own tin cup with the staff! They were so friendly and helpful throughout the experience.
It was a really nice experience to do !!!
Amazing cultural experience with friendly staff. Should join the class if you are going to Osaka.
I had such a great time making a tin cup with my friend! It was our first time trying this kind of workshop, and we really enjoyed every part of the experience. It was not only fun but also a great opportunity to learn about traditional Japanese craftsmanship and its history. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even shared some local sightseeing recommendations that only locals would know, which made our trip even more special. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Japan!
The staff were incredibly friendly, and I had a great time making a tin cup! At first I made a few mistakes, but with their help I was able to create a beautiful cup in the end. There were also displays introducing other activities, such as bonsai, and they looked so interesting that I’d love to try them next time. A big thank you to the staff for providing such a fun and memorable experience!
If you are visiting Osaka and want a truly unique cultural experience, this is it! Unlike other simple craft workshops, this experience starts from the actual casting (casting molten tin into a mold)! It was absolutely thrilling to watch the liquid metal melt and then pour it myself to form the base of my cup. After casting, we got to hammer and polish it to add our own personal touch and textures. The staff was incredibly supportive, guiding us step-by-step with great English and friendly energy. Creating something functional from raw metal was deeply satisfying. Now I have a beautiful, durable tin cup that keeps my drinks ice-cold! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a authentic, hands-on craft workshop.
Not only did I handle molten tin, but I also worked with metal for the first time in my life. It was difficult, but it was fun because the staff taught us in a fun and kind way. I've grown attached to the finished cup and use it regularly ☺️ Thank you very much
Everything top. Very polite staff and a very pleasant atmosphere. Was worth the money.
Really fun experience and personality The guides are very cute and highly recommended
The staff was super friendly throughout the entire experience and I loved being able to get closer to Japanese culture in such an authentic way. Creating a piece with your own hands makes everything feel even more special and memorable. Without a doubt, it is an experience that I highly recommend for those who want to experience something different in Japan.
