Like someone said below, don’t be fooled by the 5 star rating. In Japan, I am always looking for a good hotel. Great location - but it ends there. Staying there at the moment, and it has been very lack luster. Executive level floors sound great - but the cracks take away from it. Hair in the tub when we checked in, room makes weird clicking noise at night, light next to the bathroom turns on when you go to it at night. I was going to let that all slide, I get it it - nothing is perfect, but the executive lounge annoyed me. Executive lounge is fine. I brought in some (like 3 pieces) of sushi I could be with my wife while she had a snack. Came in no issue, but then after I opened things - they came running telling me “not allowed”. I had to go sit alone in my room to eat what was open. No sign or anything saying otherwise. Place was mostly dead, surely you can make a small exception to eat the three pieces of sushi I had … it is already open, it’s not smelly, but no pack up and go eat those three pieces in your room (they already serve free food!) alone - then come back. For the price won’t be returning. A proper 5 star hotel would have handled that with a bit more class than embarrassing me like that.

We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Park Hotel Iconic Osaka We booked a room on the executive floor which gave us access to the executive lounge. We really enjoyed our room, the service, and the lounge. The lounge had a great breakfast and in the afternoon a very nice spread of snacks and alcohol offerings. The views from our room and the lounge were exceptional. The room had good amenities, a very nice bathroom, and a efficient overall layout. All of our interactions with the staff were very pleasant and they were very professional. The location is great, and access to the metro is less than about a 7 minute walk. Thank you for a wonderful visit, and we will return!
The location is great, about a 5-minute walk from the Metro station and a couple stops from main train station and Dotonburi. The rooms are very spacious and I liked the pajamas they provided. The breakfast buffet was also great but try to show up before 9am or it gets pretty crowded. I used the gym a couple of times, which was really just two treadmills and some weights but it was all I needed. There were laundry machines every floor too. We checked out early to spend the day at Universal Studios (which was only 30 minutes by train) but they held on to our luggage until 9pm. I would recommend this hotel.
We stayed here during our trip to Osaka and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is convenient, the hotel is clean, and the staff were professional and helpful throughout our stay. However, the rooms were surprisingly small, especially considering the price and the hotel’s 5-star rating. The service was good and everything worked as expected, but nothing particularly stood out as exceptional. Overall, it’s a good hotel and we enjoyed our stay, but in my opinion it does not quite deliver the level of luxury and spaciousness I would expect from a true 5-star property. A solid option, but not a memorable luxury hotel experience.
We really like its location. The main street is clean and beautiful. There are train stations around within walking distance so you can get anywhere by train. 7-11 is a few steps away and a nice market is nearby. The hotel has all-in-one washer/dryer units. As for hotel class, I would say it is a 4.5 star hotel. We definitely will consider staying at this hotel again if we return to Osaka.
