Exceptional stay and service beyond expectations. We stayed in a large room with a wonderfully comfortable king bed and a modern, thoughtful layout. The location in Tanimachi is quiet yet incredibly convenient for exploring Osaka. What truly set this hotel apart was their care during an unexpected situation. I broke my arm the night before checkout, and the staff arranged a late checkout without hesitation so I could get treatment. In the stress of the moment, I accidentally left my GoPro behind. When I got home and reached out, they tracked it down and arranged to have it shipped back to me. I can’t express how grateful I am. The staff went far above and beyond what anyone could expect from a hotel, and it turned a stressful situation into a reminder that real hospitality still exists. Combined with the fantastic room and location, this stay was unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Osaka.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel, especially considering its price, location, and room size. The location is excellent, with the nearest train station less than a 5-minute walk away. The closest exit only has stairs, but if you prefer an escalator or lift, you can use Exit 5 (escalator) or Exit 6 (lift). Exit 5 is still only about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The room was surprisingly spacious for Japan and for the price paid. There was enough space to fully open two large suitcases comfortably. The room also came equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, microwave, and hair dryer, which was very convenient, especially for longer stays. Guests staying 5 nights or more can request one complimentary room cleaning service. In terms of cleanliness, I would rate it 3/5. There is definitely room for improvement, but it was still acceptable overall. One thing to note is the luggage storage system. If you arrive early or have a late departure, luggage lockers are available on the ground floor for a fee, which is reasonable. However, each locker costs 800 yen and only accepts eight 100-yen coins. Credit cards, other coin denominations, and paper notes are not accepted. This can be quite inconvenient, especially for travelers who have just arrived in Japan and may not have enough 100-yen coins. For example, if you have four large suitcases, you would need 32 pieces of 100-yen coins. When I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp for assistance, I was advised to exchange money at a nearby convenience store, but the stores I visited were unable to help. Fortunately, a nearby hotel with a front desk kindly assisted me, which I greatly appreciated. Another point to consider is that larger suitcases may not fit inside the lockers. This happened to me, but thankfully the hotel staff were kind enough to help store my luggage. Otherwise, I would have been left without a solution. I believe the hotel could improve this system by allowing credit card payments or alternative payment methods for the lockers. It would make the process much more convenient for guests. Also, the hotel does not provide complimentary bottled water, so be sure to purchase some from a nearby convenience store. Despite these minor inconveniences, I would still recommend this hotel due to its great location, spacious rooms, and good value for money. If you plan to use the luggage storage facilities, just make sure to prepare enough 100-yen coins in advance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Not only was it convenient in terms of location and amenities, but they were also quick to answer all our questions and even accommodated our requests with flexibility. The lack of staff on-site did not affect our experience.
Less that 5 minutes walk to subway station. I like the room facilities especially the washing machine for family travelers. Check-in is super easy and response is fast in booking App.
It was our first time in Japan, and staying at Tanimachikun Hotel Namba 80 made our stay worthwhile. The hotel was very near Daikokuchu station and a Family Mart (5 mins walk) which was very convenient for us as we were traveling with 2 kids. Self check in and check out was smooth for us. The room where we stayed in didn’t have a living room area, but we still liked it because the bedroom was spacious. The kids were still able to run around and play inside the hotel room. The closet was spacious enough for 2 big luggages and 2 hand carry bags. What I liked most about the hotel was that it has a laundry machine and drier, which was apt for us as we packed light during our trip. There is also a fridge and microwave, where we stored our meals and reheat them. We would definitely book this hotel again in our next Osaka trip!
