We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is clean and comfortable, but what really stood out was the service from Ms. Sayaka Kamikubo at the front desk. We had to change rooms multiple times, and she handled everything with great patience and a smile, helping us settle in each time without any complaint. Her attentiveness made our stay much more pleasant. Thank you, Ms. Kamikubo!

Good location if you are looking to see the attractions in the southern portion of Osaka, ex: Osaka castle, Dotonbori, etc. If you prefer to be closer to Osaka station or JR lines, look at other options. Rooms size was decent but small for a junior suite compared to other similar class Marriott properties. Morning dining options were decent with better menu items on the Japanese cuisine. Okay menu options for children as well.
The location is superb 👍👍. The Airport Limousine Bus stop is located on the same level as the hotel reception. You don’t even need to leave the hotel building—simply walk through a side entrance directly to the bus stop. It’s incredibly convenient, saves time, and makes travelling with luggage completely hassle-free. The train and metro station is directly connected to the hotel, with several shopping centres and dining options conveniently located within the station complex. The room is showing some signs of age, but it is well maintained. The lobby is spacious, elegant, and equipped with good facilities, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Great location. Once you get out from 大阪上本町 station, the hotel is just 2 mins walk away. I love everyone’s hospitality. Especially, thanks to receptionist Momoyo, her warm welcome and was trying her best to help me book an airport drop off reservation. Also, thanks to Wang Lu for her thorough explanation on my first day tour in Osaka. Definitely, shop a lot and eat a lot.👍👍
Our stay here was honestly underwhelming. The one thing that was fantastic was the location. Take the elevator to the basement and you're literally in Osaka-Uehommachi Station as well as the entrance to the big Kintetsu department store with great food options in the basement as well as on the 12th floor. You can get anywhere and have access to conveniences without even going outside. The room itself, particularly for one described to us at check-in as "newly renovated," left a lot to be desired, with an old beige bathtub, some really grungy amenities, and some obvious cleaning challenges around edges and corners. The described writing desk was also not present. But the biggest issue by far was the lack of air conditioning. They apparently have an ancient climate control system that can only do heat or cooling, and with mid-20s temperatures and humidity outside (and even hotter inside), they still have it set to heat only. Further, the one window for ventilation only opens about 5 cm. We woke up in our own sweat every one of our four nights there. Their only solution was a fan to blow the hot, humid air onto ourselves. Particularly at a cost of over ¥35,000 per night, which climbs even higher if you decide that you want to use the swimming pool (¥1,500 per person per use!) or fitness centre, this stay was a poor value, especially since it didn't provide a good night's sleep.
