Ostay Shin-osaka Hotel Apartment

Great rooms- everything you need for a short or long stay. Got confused by the keypad PIN code on the door handle but once I figured that out it was easy. So easy to wash clothes and use the drying room to dry them. Fully equipped apartment.

Back pain from dipping old bed. No blackout curtains. Room felt clean, but unless you want back pain, I would not recommend. Unless you just want to sleep one night and go to shin-Osaka station ok. Nothing nearby. Had to go to shin-Osaka station to get groceries, besides family mart.

It is a good location to the station however there’s nothing else in the area, and was cleaned ok. However rooms look completely different to the photos, it is essentially a mattress bed in an old room. Wallpaper was peeling off and stained. I found blood on my pillows. Staff took a while to respond to any issues, they didn’t offer to move rooms even though there was plenty of availability the next day. The room door also stopped locking, meaning anyone could access the room from outside which was highly concerning. It took them 2 hours to respond to this issue which was frustrating as we had plans for that day which we couldn’t do as a result. We had a balcony but it had no view like the photos online, it just faced an opposite building.

We absolutely loved our stay at this place! The accommodation was very neat and clean, with all the appliances needed to make your trip comfortable - including a washing machine, fully equipped kitchen with pans and cutlery, and more. The owner is exceptionally kind and helpful. We accidentally left something behind when we checked out, but the owner went above and beyond to help us locate it and even shipped it back to us in Tokyo. This level of service really made our experience memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with outstanding hospitality!
