Finest hospitality and the most spacious rooms ( King premium). At the entrance, the door team & bell desk team are wonderful. Always smiling, prompt, super efficient with bags and taxi. Even offered water, on my way to the station. Darsan, Kazunori, Piumi, Nishio & Kahoroku are the real Ambassadors of warm hospitality. Sakura at Front Desk took great care and handled quick check in around midnight. Bags were placed in room wardrobe area promptly. At checkout, I was running late. I called the hotel from outside and they brought my bags & shirt from the room quickly. I did not have to go to the front desk. Most efficent and warm hospitality. I will surely be back soon. Very nice stay. Most highly recommended. Osaka is a lovely city, with a relaxed vibe. Taxi drivers are real gentlemen and local guides.

My daughter and I spent four nights here and could not have been more pleased. Our junior suite was perfectly designed and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable and the bath was lovely. The lounge staff was very welcoming and the quality of the offerings was the best we received in Japan. We also want to thank Mr. A. Trotner for his kindness in assisting us during our stay. All of the employees we had contact with were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Osaka in late May. We were upgraded to a junior suite at check in through my credit card program. Our room was gorgeous and massive, especially by Japanese standards. It came with some nice touches such as a Japanese tea set, a large soaking tub with complimentary bath salts and a spacious walk-in closet with the choice between a bathrobe or yukata. I especially loved the Byredo products throughout the hotel which smelled wonderful and elevated the luxuriousness of our stay. I also enjoyed using the hotel's heated lap pool, hot tub with jets and the Japanese bath house (which included a steam and dry saunas). The hotel itself is very well maintained and in a accessible location just a block from the Osaka JR station. It's located in the Umeda distrct. There's lots of great shopping and eateries nearby such as at the Grand Front, which is directly connected to the Intercontinental, and Lucua. There's also a very lovely park/open space nearby called the Grand Green that's definitely worth checking out. The whole area feels very modern and beautifully designed. I'd even go as far to say that my experience in Umeda was my favorite part of Japan this time. All of the staff from the moment we arrived were incredibly warm, attentive and helpful but I want to give special recognition to Tae Kimura who was the receptionist that checked me in and out. I felt that she made an effort to get to know me and remember my name. She was very approachable, friendly and helpful yet professional. She gave us great recommendations for things to do in the city. She provided exceptional service during our stay. I also want to acknowledge the housekeeping team for their exceptional attention to detail. I wish I had the opportunity to meet the specific staff member who worked on our room as I appreciated coming back to find our messy belongings organized so neatly and the room spotless. One of the few critiques I have is that the food at the Noka restaurant was about average and not very memorable. The service at the restaurant was great though, just like the rest of the hotel. The other small complaint I have is the privacy screen for the bathroom is somewhat see through. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the Intercontinental Osaka if you're visiting the city! Husband and I visited Osaka to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We chose Umeda for it's location and relative calm compared to Namba. And we are so glad we chose intercontinental Osaka. It provided a sanctuary from our days out to explore the city. It's well connected to Umeda/Osaka station and the surrounding shopping areas but at the same time situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our room was spacious and every detail well thought out. We were welcomed with a hand written note and chocolates to sample. Turn down service and room cleaning were superb. Gerald and his wonderful staff at the breakfast buffet helped us get ready to face each day. And the lounge and bar, Adee was a perfect spot for a night cap. Amazing hotel for an incredible time in Osaka.
