i cant speak for the rooms but i was recommended to come here for the onsen from my hotel apa hotels just up the street. I didnt want to pay like 700$ for the natural hot springs experience as i wasnt prepared for the price to be 77,000 yen. hotel staff pointed me here as i could use the hotel hot springs onsen which was just the 1 time fee. think i ended up paying like 2900 yen but closed by 9pm. This was so relaxing and healing that by the time i walked out i was no longer feeling sore. Just make sure to follow the instructions before using there is a pre-wash requirement steps starting with no shoes when you see the carpet and lockers. the guy at the front desk was very helpful in guiding me along. Stay hydrated and relax its great.
I stayed in a Moderate Double Room from 2 April to 6 April 2026. The hotel is located opposite Fukushima station which makes it very convenient when returning after a long day.
The room is very spacious for me as a solo traveller, and has good soundproofing as I did not hear noises from other rooms throughout my stay. Housekeeping did a great job tidying up the room. As someone who drinks a lot of water, I liked that housekeeping provides two bottles whenever you opt for eco-cleaning or full cleaning.
The hotel staff helped to keep a letter for me that arrived a few days beforehand, and passed it to me without asking when checking in. Thank you very much to Murakami in particular for confirming with me on email that they would safekeep the letter.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Hanshin Osaka. I would recommend anyone visiting Osaka to consider booking a room with them. I look forward to staying here again when I return to Osaka. Thank you!
I love the fact that you have a spring water connection in your washroom, so you do not need to visit the public onsen. I just wish they had a coin washers available, no worries though a laundromat is round the corner of the station.
very irresponsible staff service, they are not at all helpful. we asked for basic hot water which they could provide and give a big hand gesture of cross sign. we asked where can we eat our food in one of your restaurants or any indoor place- they immediately said no, you cant eat here. they shut there waiting area for no reason. the lobby waiting is meant for people staying at the property but still they dont allow. Very weird and stupid staff. they misplaced my stuff without my knowledge and i realized when i reached at the airport that they didn’t give my stuff back which had my hot flask and few other things.
The place is showing a bit of its age, but it being so clean gives it a delightful feeling of nostalgia. The room size is more than adequate, and the sound insulation is superb. The hot spring shower water is absolutely relaxing. Staff were very helpful and courteous.
The location is just across the train station exit with restaurants and convenience shops all around it. There’s even a nice tully’s coffee shop right beside the hotel lobby.
We got a four bed family room and the great value we paid for the place is definitely worth mentioning.
