I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It’s located in a vibrant, slightly more upscale pocket of Kita Ward, within a short walk of major shopping malls while being right next to Kita-Shinchi, one of Osaka’s famous nightlife and dining district. There are two train stations within a 5–10 minute walk, which makes getting around very convenient. The rooms are comfortable and offer a decent view. The facilities are well maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. As Marriott Gold members we were able to order coffee/tea whenever we wanted which was a nice touch. Overall, I would definitely stay here again 🤩

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of our 2 week Japan fall vacation. Enjoyed the central location, proximity to public transportation, and cleanliness of the rooms — this was perfect for our trip. The laundry facility on the second floor was a highlight of this location. The room temperature, shower pressure, separate toilet, and night lights were all so ideal. I was able to plug my phone into the TV to stream videos. The hotel staff were kind and amazing. Food Mart and McD’s are conveniently across the street for something quick. You have to go a bit away for the shopping district, but a short cab ride gets to many local spots. We take day trips to Kobe and Kyoto, which worked out perfectly. I would definitely recommend checking out this Aloft, and will likely revisit during our next Japan trip.
Great room and layout, but housekeeping and points value fell short! The room itself was nice and accurately depicted on the website. I really liked the design layout, particularly having the toilet in a separate space from the shower area. The shower was fantastic, with great hot water and excellent water pressure, and having an in-room water filtration system was a very thoughtful touch we appreciated. However, a few areas left room for improvement. At check-in, we were offered a choice between 500 Marriott Bonvoy points or daily breakfast. We opted for the 500 points, assuming it meant 500 points per person per day. Instead, it turned out to be just 500 points total for the entire stay which amounts to roughly $3.50 in value. Considering that small amount replaced breakfast for two, we definitely regretted not choosing the breakfast option. Housekeeping was another disappointment. During check-in, we explicitly requested room cleaning. Their default policy is to clean every three days (which feels unusual for a full-price hotel), but despite our request, our room was never cleaned during our stay. When the front desk associate realized what happened, she was kind and offered us fresh towels and tissues, but by then it was too late to actually clean the room. Lastly, the pillows were on the uncomfortable side a bit too oversized and firm for a good night's sleep.
Aloft by Marriott Osaka Dojima is a fantastic hotel with a stylish, modern design and an excellent location. It's within walking distance of Osaka Station, Umeda, and Kitashinchi, making it easy to explore the city's shopping, dining, and nightlife while still enjoying a quieter neighborhood. The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds and everything needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. I also enjoyed spending time at the lively W XYZ Bar, which adds a fun and energetic atmosphere to the hotel. Whether you're visiting Osaka for business or leisure, Aloft by Marriott Osaka Dojima is an excellent choice. The combination of modern comfort, convenient location, and warm hospitality made my stay very enjoyable, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Osaka.
stayed at Aloft Osaka Dojima and overall it was just okay. Not bad, but not anything special either. The room itself was fine. Clean enough and comfortable, but pretty standard. Nothing really stood out or made it feel memorable. The gym was probably the weakest part for me. It felt a bit underwhelming and not as clean as it should be. At one point there was trash sitting on top of the towel area, and it got crowded pretty quickly, which made it less enjoyable to use. The biggest plus here is definitely the location. If you’re going to something at Festival Hall, it’s super convenient, just about a block and a half away. It’s also within walking distance to Osaka Station, which makes getting around easy. That said, there are a lot of hotels in this area, and I feel like you could probably find something a bit nicer for the price. I wouldn’t say it was a bad stay, but I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to book it again.
