Private Tour In Caño Island

Pésima experiencia, no lo recomiendo. Reservamos con antelación y nos hicieron esperar más de una hora bajo el sol sin dar explicaciones, para luego subirnos a un bote completamente saturado de gente. Para colmo, el equipo de snorkel estaba en pésimas condiciones; las máscaras se llenaban de agua todo el tiempo y los tubos estaban viejos. Te prometen un gran tour, pero apenas estuvimos 20 minutos en el agua en una zona sin vida marina. Nuestro guía, Kristian, no prestó ninguna atención al grupo ni dio instrucciones básicas de seguridad. Además, el personal fue muy grosero cuando reclamamos. Una total pérdida de tiempo y dinero, no vayan con ellos. Terrible experience, would not recommend. We booked in advance and they made us wait for over an hour under the sun with no explanation, only to pack us onto a completely overcrowded boat. To make matters worse, the snorkeling gear was in terrible condition; the masks kept filling with water and the tubes were old. They promise a great tour, but we barely spent 20 minutes in the water in an area with no marine life. Our guide, Kristian, paid absolutely no attention to the group and failed to provide basic safety instructions. On top of that, the staff was very rude when we complained. A complete waste of time and money, do not go with them

Kristian and Joseph are very fun to fish with. They love it and they were excited the whole time. Joseph was a patient and nice teaching me about the process. Great trip for both beginners and people with a lot of experience.

Christian and Joseph took us fishing. They clearly enjoy their work. We caught a lot of fish and many different species of fish from tuna, rooster fish, wahoo, and barracuda. I would highly recommend them for fishing. They are very nice people and even took our fish to a restaurant to get cooked up and joined us for dinner. 100/100. And the homemade lunch was excellent.

Kristian and Joe were so very accommodating. The pickup is a wet landing at Drake Bay. From the start, they asked us what we would prefer to focus on and customized the entire day around that. Joe is an avid fisher and immediately caught some bait. We had our first rooster fish by mid-morning. After that, we snorkelled with some sea turtles near Cano Island, where Kristian displayed that he is a true professional diver. Lastly, they treated us to a nice lunch on a private beach. We even caught a Spanish Mackerel on our way back. They delivered it to a local restaurant for us, where my fiancé and I enjoyed a romantic dinner. 10 out of 10

Chris was amazing throughout our tour! We started off with seeing bottle nose dolphins followed by sting rays, reef sharks, sea turtles and tons of fish! Such a fantastic day out! It was the highlight of our trip and I would recommend it to anyone that is debating going. Phenomenal expie ce and it’s definitely one you should do! You snorkel for about an hour in one location, then have a break by the rangers office on the beach for 30 +/- minutes followed by an additional hour of snorkelling. After you’re finished all of the snorkelling you then visit a beach as the last stamp for 30 +/- minutes before heading back to the main island for lunch ! Such great value for money !

Christian was fantastic. We saw two reef sharks, lots of turtles, a sting Ray, dolphins, and lots of pretty fish. Christian was very knowledgable, friendly and passionate which really came across. Would 100% recommend.

Great experience! Kristian it's a amazing guy and very skilled ship's captain. Drake, Caño Island... PARADISE! This should be a MOST DO in every person trying to get the Costa Rican experience..

An incredible experience from start to finish. The tour was completely private and very well organized. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area, its wildlife, and its history. During the trip we had the chance to try fishing, go snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters near Caño Island, and enjoy stunning coastal scenery. We also stopped at the beautiful San Josecito Beach, where we could relax and enjoy a delicious lunch. Everything was perfectly prepared, with fresh fruit, drinks, and great attention to detail. Without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. Highly recommended!
