All tours are customized according to customers' preferences. More time will be spent at remote beaches if a customer wishes, swimming in waterfalls, or hiking and seeing more animals in the jungle. This is discussed before and while on the tour.
Elyer was a fantastic guide finding wildlife along the way. We saw 3 types of monkeys, macaws, sloth, huge spider, giant Iguana and enjoyed a challenging hike to a beautiful waterfall with a swimming hole below. We were the oldest group he had ever guided and we all made it safely. Our lunch was delicious with a fabulous view of the Pacific below at a charming lodge in the jungle. Highly recommend!!
This tour is not to be missed! Elyer was the perfect guide. You could tell how much he loved his job and was so passionate about finding the birds and monkeys (and spiders and pigs and frogs) throughout our time together. We made it to the beautiful waterfall and enjoyed everything he showed us. It was at great morning and worth every penny.
We had a wonderful time thanks to our guide, Elyer! He spotted many animals and accommodated our special needs by modifying the trip to reduce walking/hiking.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Elroy was so great to adapt the trip to our needs and at each stop we saw multiple animals and fauna including 3 types of monkey, toucans, macaws, and other birds and some smaller insects like killer wasps and spiders. He was super to pull out his scope and have it place quickly so we really got to see them up close and personal. He grew up here and shared some stories about growing up which really made it personal as well as to get a true flavor of what is like to grow up in Corocavado. I highly reccomend taking this tour.

If you’re considering a guided hike in the Osa Peninsula—book Elyer. He was excellent with communication before and after, right on time, and so patient throughout the hike. His wildlife-spotting skills are unreal—we saw multiple kinds of monkeys, tons of birds, and other animals we never would’ve noticed on our own. He shared so much information in an easy, fun way, and we had the best morning—lots of laughs and great memories. This was hands-down the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!
Elyir did an amazing job of trying to make sure our tour was what we had hoped for. It was easy to communicate with him before we arrived as he responded rapidly to questions and requests. He is a man who radiates great joy in what he does. He loves the nature he grew up in and knows his animals. He was as excited about discovering new macaw nests as we were. Hee has boundless energy and would have kept showing us more,and more but we needed to get back. I am sure he would have stayed as long as we wanted. This is his passion, not just a job.
OUTSTANDING!!!! Our family has traveled extensively and explored many areas with guides, but Elyer is a cut above. You WILL see birds and monkeys, and a variety of things, but it is His ability to set up a spectacular viewing system where it seems like the animal is right in front of you. Another thing we appreciated was his ability and willingness to tailor what we wanted to do and see. Elyer was kind enough to extend our tour by over two hours for which we gave him a tip, but for which he did not actually ask for additional funds. He is a really special guy, and all regards, including taking us to a special place for a close-up view of a macaw’s nesting site. In addition to his knowledge and respect of Wildlife, Elyer grew up in the jungle nearby, which made it extra special. You won’t be disappointed.
This was a top 10 day for me and my sisters. We saw Macaws, 4 types of monkeys, hawks, toucan, lizards, and more. Elyer is so enthusiastic and willing to customize the tour according to our needs. We enjoyed every minute and will definately keep in touch for years to come. I feel like not only did we get a tip notch tour but we made a friend for life. Thank you!
My husband and I had a wonderful time with Elyer. He is a true local and is super knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. We saw a ton of wildlife, which he was quick to point out and find with his scope. He took us to places way off the beaten path, including to some amazing waterfalls. If you want a fun and unique introduction to the Osa Peninsula, Elyer is your man.
Elyer is the man. Great guy. Has a great eye. We saw the 4 different types of monkeys, Toucans, Macaws, Parakeets, little poisonous frogs, I can go on and on... Don't look any further. He made a day our family will never forget and was a highlight of our trip to CR. I dropped my eyeglasses from around my neck and Elyer tried really hard to help me find them . You can tell people who care about others - thanks buddy!!
Elyer was amazing. Tailored the tour for my wife who struggles to get an around a little due to back issues but we saw sloth with baby, bunch of birds including toucans, 3 types of monkeys, rare owl etc. Do not book a group tour. By the time you get in front of scope animals have moved and now worthwhile. Use this guy amazing and a local who knows all the secret trails and spots to get the cool animals. Trust us you will not be disappointed.
This was a great, private and personal tour to waterfalls and beaches. Elmer was very passionate about his work and patient with our pace on the trail.

Tour is planned off of what you the customer most want to experience and see. Elyer treats you like family and very much enjoys sharing his knowledge of the park.
Elyer was a fantastic guide. He adapted the tour based on what we wanted to see and what our fitness level was. We wanted some hiking and some tour by truck. He was so very kind and very knowledgeable. My sister and I are traveling together in Osa and found this tour to be a perfect taste of what the region had to offer. We got to hike in the jungle, see waterfalls and then head to the beach to watch surfers and eat a freshly chopped coconut.

Osa's tour was a destination on our motorcycle adventure ride. I can say he is both talented and knowledgeable. His abilty at spotting birds, monkeys and other wildlife was amazing. He will show you the REAL Costa Rica. Beautiful beaches and waterfalls and NOT the tourist traps! I highly recommend him.
Great tour of the lower Osa peninsula. We took in the Kings waterfall (a stroll thru the jungle) we searched for monkeys, sloths,exotic birds and we were successful!!! Elyer is a great guide (born and raised in Osa). We had fresh coconut milk on the beach. What we were amazed with is while driving Elyer can pick out these exotic critters with his bare eyes. I highly recommend any of his tours, you will see costa rica in raw form, not touristy.
