Jeff is an awesome tour guide. Very friendly and full of information about Aruba. The van was very comfortable. Enjoyed seeing the less popular sights of Aruba that the big tour companies go to

The heartbeat of Aruba’s new creative wave. Born in the art district of San Nicolas and powered by the ArtisA Foundation (Art is Aruba), it’s more than a gallery; it's a living space where craft, culture, and community collide. As the sister gallery of ArtisA Gallery, Space21.art connects local artisans, contemporary artists, and curious visitors in one dynamic hub of inspiration. Every piece you’ll find here, from handcrafted jewelry to bold canvas works, tells a story of Aruban identity, resilience, and imagination. Also, we will have the opportunity to see some beautiful local mural art in walking distance from the gallery.

My wife and I booked a half-day tour with Jeff expecting the usual highlights reel, and what we got instead was a real introduction to Aruba. We were his only customers that day, and it showed in the best way — this wasn't a scripted walk-through, it was Jeff sharing the island he's spent his life on. He took us to the National Archaeological Museum, the Aruba Aloe Factory, the National Archive of Aruba, and the Donkey Sanctuary, then went further off script to bring us to a local spot for pastiche that you'd never find without someone who actually lives there. Jeff clearly knows the island inside and out — he walked us through the history behind the murals painted around town and even introduced us to some of the artists and the people behind the project. Everywhere we went, it was obvious how much he's respected and loved by the community. He topped it off by introducing us to his dogs and showing us some of the antiques and collectibles he's gathered over a lifetime on Aruba — a level of trust and generosity you don't expect from a tour guide, but that's exactly who Jeff is. If you want the standard tourist-trap tour, he'll happily give you that too. But if you want to actually understand Aruba — its history, its culture, its people — Jeff is who you want. Because of him, we're already planning to come back, and I hope to stay in touch with him for years to come. It's rare to meet someone this genuinely passionate about their work, their culture, and their home. He also taught me the importance of referring to my wife as "mi dushi" (sweetheart) and not as kadushi (cactus). Masha masha danki! Highly, highly recommend.
Jeff Classic tours was one of the highlights of our trip! Jeff was the perfect host, knowledgeable, entertaining and prompt. He was accommodating to all we asked and showed a side of Aruba we didn't expect to see. We enjoyed the experience even more thanks to him and would love to use his tour anytime we're in Aruba!
Jeff Classic Tours was the highlight of the trip. We were Blessed to have Jeff himself as our tour guide. Jeff is an amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, intuitive guide; but an even better human being. We immediately felt like family and not like customers. We toured the traditional tourist spots and local hot spots not necessarily seen by most tourists…if their available book with Jeff Classic Tours.
Jeff's Classic Tours was amazing! If you desire to have a real tour of Aruba and explore the people, history, art and culture, Jefff is your guy! This is is home from birth so he knows about his country from it's inception to now! He loves to talk about Aruba and he's funny, kind, and he can really dance! He cames highly recommended from my co-worker Dan, who visits at least 3x's/year! Jeff thank you for an experience we will never forget. The museums and history lesson was a plus. I can't wait to recommend you to others.
Jeff made our tour so fun and entertaining! He made us feel like family. Local art was fantastic! Jeff pointed out local restaurants and just great places to get a quick meal. Will call him next time we are here!! Love the Golden girls 🥰
The three steps are a bit precarious (windy day). Once past that it is an amazing experience. So glad I hired safe, awesome, and professional guides!!!
So, in summary, this tour was great and the tour leader Jeffrey was amazing. We got the insiders scoop from a native and key member of Aruba society. We navigated the island to see the famous lighthouse, chapel, donkey sanctuary, aloe farm and the swanky west side (palm beach). But the best part was the color commentary about life, culture and people of Aruba. Kudos Jeff!
We throughly enjoyed our half-day tour with Jeff. We were lucky enough to have a private tour, i.e., he didn't cancel because there were just two of us. He was very friendly and outgoing and clearly proud of Aruba. We enjoyed the Aloe Factory, their guide gave a very good explanation of processing their products, and we bought some products. The donkey sanctuary was an okay stop. The owner/manager was there and spoke with Jeff, but she didn't interact with us at all. I would have enjoyed hearing her story of how and why she started the sanctuary. The museums were interesting, but everything was written in Spanish so we had to ask Jeff our questions. He was very knowledgeable and readily supplied the answers. We really enjoyed the snack he stopped and bought for us - very yummy! The cactus and rock formations at the park were definitely worth the short walk. Tip - If you book through Viator and are coming from a cruise ship, don't go to the front of the Diamonds Int'l building as their instructions say. Instead, stay on the side of DI where the benches are. Jeff has a good place to pull over there to pick up passengers. It was a good 1/2 day tour to spend some time off the ship and get the local flavor of Aruba. Will you be blown away? No, but it was an enjoyable 3+ hours with a friendly local who wants you to enjoy his country.
Fabulous , Jeff was the most informative and amazing guy!! He made the experience be the best for sure !
Jeff greeted us early and said it is best when people are on time so that it doesn’t cut into the tour. The other group was also early so we started the tour about 15 minutes early. Jeff was very courteous, explained everything that we saw during the tour, and was extremely knowledgeable. He had water and pastries for everyone on the tour. He took pictures for each group and went way beyond what we expected. This was without a doubt the best half-day tour we have taken in Aruba. I should mention this was our fourth trip to Aruba and we always do a tour. We always do a different tour and this much more informational and didn’t just show us the normal tourist areas.
There were two of us that went on this tour. We fully expected others to have booked but lucky for us, we were the only ones. I’m sure as a tour operator this isn’t ideal but Jeff does not cancel due to low numbers. Jeff is the owner, operator and guide and he aims to please. I have never been on a tour where I felt so much like family. It is very clear that Jeff takes his job of imparting knowledge very seriously and has done lots of research to make sure his information is accurate rather than making things up. That is much appreciated. He is not afraid to say he doesn’t know when we asked a question for which he had no answer but I bet he will research it and know the answer for the next guest. We never felt rushed or on the clock and Jeff altered our day to avoid the large crowds in popular locations like the Aloe factory since there were two cruise ships at port. We enjoyed all of our stops and thought it was wonderful seeing how respected Jeff is by so many locals we came across on the island. Jeff is fun, knowledgeable, outgoing and we now consider him family. If you want to learn about Aruba and see it from the perspective of an Arubian who loves his island, do not hesitate to book this trip.
We enjoyed our time with Jeff tremendously! He is a very knowledgeable guide, and a very warm and funny guy. If you're ever in Aruba, we highly recommend taking a (half) day tour with him. You'll see the most wonderful sights on the Island, learn a lot about the history and everyday life and have lots of laughs in the meantime!
"Where do I begin? Jeff was absolutely top-notch! 10,000 out of 10! He had tons of energy from start to finish and clearly loves his island, showcasing all it has to offer. His humor and enthusiasm made our experience unforgettable, and we'd definitely return because we left wanting more. The special treat he took us on was a lovely touch. We even picked up some local phrases, like 'Muy dushi' - thanks to Jeff's native tongue! Book him without hesitation - you won't regret it!"
Jeff is very knowledgeable and friendly and very passionate about what he has to share with you. It has different scenery and stops than any other tour on the island. Wholeheartedly recommend if you're looking for something different and less touristy.
Jeff was a vivacious and informative guide for our half day tour of Aruba. He picked us up on time from our resort, in an air conditioned van. He was a gracious and flexible host, accomodating the groups request for a change in itinerary. He changed his normal route to miss traffic, and to visit the outdoor sites earlier in the day due to expected high temps, out of concern for our comfort. We clearly felt his love of his county and his respect of its' history and heroes.
Jeff was fabulous- he gave our group an amazing tour of Aruba, allowing us plenty of time to ask questions and become acquainted with the island. We had an incredible day and I would book with him 1,000 times over. He was prompt, friendly and very kind.
We had a wonderful time exploring the island of Aruba with Jeff. He is very knowledgeable, personable and shares the love of his island with others. We had a great time learning about Aruba and laughing at Jeff’s stories. We will definitely do more tours with him!
We were fortunate enough to spend a half day with Jeff, exploring the beautiful island of Aruba. Jeff has spent his life in Aruba and is very knowledgeable about the many locations we visited or passed by. We were not rushed at the Aloe Factory or the Donkey Sanctuary, and Jeff even gave us a private tour of the museum. We also visited the murals, something that was not in the tour description. Jeff is full of enthusiasm, funny and thoughtful and it felt like we made a friend, even though I wasn't very good at learning the local language! We totally recommend at least a half day with Jeff if you want to see the real Aruba!
The tour was fabulous! Exceeded all our expectations! Jeffrey is prompt, professional, courteous, joyful and uber-concerned with meeting our needs! We highly recommend taking advantage of his knowledge of Aruba, superb customer service skills and experience.
The tour guide Jeff was absolutely marvelous. It was a wonderful tour he tailored it towards us was very interactive and gave his all we highly recommend this tour
This was a great tour of Aruba! Jeff was a fabulous tour guide! It’s really clear how much he loves his island. He doesn’t cancel no matter how many book his tour on any given day…the two of us were the only ones on the tour and he tailored the day to things we wanted to see and do. We saw most of the things listed in the tour originally but did swap out the donkey sanctuary for another side of the island and the beautiful Baby Beach! The colors of the water there were some of the prettiest shades of blue around! We ended up spending time at another beach there (Eagle Beach, which was closer to the port). Jeff was packed with knowledge about Aruba and it was great learning all about the island. He stopped at a local bakery and bought us one of Aruba’s delicious cheese pies. We were able to see Aruba’s synagogue at our request too. This is a great tour due to its mix of culture, sightseeing, beach fun and a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. You won’t be disappointed with Jeff and his tour!
We went as a family of four adults. Jeff was so knowledgeable, so enthusiastic, so proud of Aruba and Arubians. The Aloe farm and factory was fascinating, the donkey sanctuary was a delight, and the archaeological museum will definitely warrant a return visit. Jeff showed us the true colour and flavour of life in Aruba!
Jeff is an amazing tour guide and a wonderful human. I highly recommend his Aruba tour. Such a kind, funny, generous, and genuine soul, Jeff made our family vacation absolutely unique and memorable. Shake it!
We had an exceptional experience with Jeff Classic Tours on our recent visit to Aruba. Jeff was punctual, courteous, and incredibly helpful, which made a big difference as both my husband and his sister-in-law use walkers. Jeff’s kindness and attentiveness allowed us all to feel comfortable throughout the tour. Jeff provided us with bottled water and introduced us to Pastechi, a delicious local snack—a deep-fried pastry filled with cheese, chicken, or beef. Tasting Aruba’s national snack was a nice touch, adding to the authenticity of the experience. The tour included several fascinating stops, beginning with the National Archives, where Jeff guided us through Aruba’s rich history. The archives housed a wonderful collection of photographs, capturing the island’s journey over the years. Our next stop, the National Archaeological Museum, was equally engaging. Jeff’s enthusiasm shone through as he shared his knowledge of the exhibits, particularly because he’s a collector himself and regularly attends talks here to stay informed on local developments. We then visited the Aloe Aruba factory, where we learned about the production of Aruba’s famed aloe products. The tour was informative, and we couldn’t resist picking up a few items from the shop! Typically, Jeff’s tour includes a donkey sanctuary, but since we’d just visited one on Grand Turk, we asked to go to the Butterfly Sanctuary instead. Jeff kindly accommodated our request, and we paid our own entrance fee since it wasn’t part of the tour. The sanctuary was delightful, filled with butterflies that fluttered around us, and we enjoyed a short talk on their lifecycle. Jeff’s warmth, knowledge, and flexibility made this one of the best shore excursions we’ve had. I highly recommend Jeff Classic Tours for anyone visiting Aruba!
It was a unique tour! One couple, myself and , of course, Jeff. Been coming to Aruba for 21 years and never had a tour like this! Jeff is full of knowledge and personality. We went to some of the planned places, but Jeff let us change our course. Saw places I had never seen. Thanks, Jeff!
Jeff is AMAZING!! He definitely is the heart of Aruba. My wife and I were the only booked tour for that day and Jeff treated us like family. His vibe and energy is contagious. If you want the authentic Aruba tour, please please please book Jeff. We learned so much about the Aruabian way of life and culture. Jeff loves to dance so come with your best dance move. Lol. Thank you Jeff, you are AWESOME!!
Jeff was an amazing tour guide!! He picked us up promptly at the cruise port and took us on such a fun adventure. We toured the Aloe farm, got some delicious treats, looked around town as he told us about the history of Aruba, spent time at the donkey sanctuary, toured the rum factory, and ended the day at the chapel overlooking the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and Jeff was so pleasant to be with during our time together. When the tour ended we asked him to take us to the beach where we could easily make our way back to the ship. He was good to help us out and made sure we knew what to do to get back to our ship on time. We would 100% encourage you to book this tour. We had so much fun!!
Jeff’s Classic Tour was awesome. My husband and I did the half day tour and we enjoyed every minute of it. We encourage anyone that wants to see the beautiful island of Aruba to contact Jeff’s Classic Tour.
My family went on vacation to Aruba. I booked this tour because it seemed to touch on various areas in Aruba that would allow for an authentic experience - Jeff did not disappoint! Our group of 4 happened to be the only people booked for our tour date, and Jeff showed us so many places all over the island and provided so much information and backstory to things that I feel confident in relaying information to others about Aruba's history, and if I never visited again, I know that I've experienced a good bit of Aruba already. We visited touristy areas, a rum tasting, the National Archives, local markets, eateries (Jeff got us meat/veggie patties), the Aloe Factory, east-side residential areas, shrines, one of the last original mud houses in Aruba, different beaches...and we even learned some Papiamento language! I highly recommend touring with Jeff because, as a lifelong citizen, he knows his country well and is vested in its success, evidenced by his engagement and contributions to the Archives, his relationships with fellow business owners/citizens/authorities, and his infectious positivity. Jeff is an extremely genuine and humble man who loves what he does and his country. Thank you, Jeff, for such an amazing and unforgettable experience!
Jeff is a fountain of information about Aruba’s history, culture, geography, and local cuisine. We enjoyed his tour so very much, I would recommend his tour to singles, couples, and families. He goes above and beyond to give you a great insight into life on his beautiful island.
The most memorable part of this tour was, Jeff knowledge about the Island, his warm and humorous attitude. Me and my sister loved the tour. I will never forget Jeff demeanor it was great, good conversation and laughter, "Shake baby shake it".
We were treated to a surprise local snack. It was very good. Also Jeff offered to take us to anywhere we wanted to go, grocery store, etc. Took his offer to stop at a grocery store. Nice man and very accommodating
Aruba is a beautiful place full of amazing scenery, great people, and rich history. As someone who has been to Aruba on several occasions, partaking in Jeff's Classic Tours was by far the highlight over the years of things done. As someone that like's to engage in the culture (history, food, local gems, etc,) and not stay stuck in the hotel and beach the whole time. This tour was the best way to get the full Aruba experience! From having fun at the Donkey Sanctuary, doing an awesome rum tasting, visiting the Aruba Aloe factor, making local stops along the way, and much more, it was a great balance of education and experience. What I believe is most important is right from the start he treats you like family and you can see his genuine care for the island, the people in it, and those who come to visit. He's very accommodating, is willing to go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of and find enjoyment in the experience, and also makes it feel very personalized. Jeff is a local legend of Aruba and is a living example of the magic and generosity Aruba has to offer. This classic tour is a MUST if you're spending a couple days in Aruba, whether it be with family, friends, or a little solo travel adventure.
Jeff is very energetic and takes pride in his tours. He is very knowledgeable about the island. He was born in Aruba and knows just about everyone there. His tours are personal and he makes you feel at home and like family. He is always on time to pick you up. I would recommend his tour to anyone who wants to have a great time and wants to know about the island.
Jeff sung me happy birthday which i loved and he is the funniest. Shake it baby shake it lol. Definitely would recommend
The owner operator Jeff is comical and energetic. He was generous with his time as he let us take our time at the stops and didn't sacrifice anything to limit the tour time. Thought his van is older, he kept it running the whole time to keep it cool for us. With the exception of the aloe factory and glass blowing company, we felt the tour visited the less sophisticated tourism of the island. The jewelry shop had simpler settings and stones. The rum tasting was a room at the back of a house with hundreds of flavored rums lining the walls and we were given ten flavors to taste. It looked like the same brand of rum with differents flavorings added. We thought the coconut/pineapple was wonderful. We had him drop us off at a beach near our ship, so that we could spend a little time in the water before returning to the ship via a $20 taxi for four people. We felt we got to visit the real (albeit still touristy) Aruba on this tour. Side note: Beware of the aloe factory when supplying your email to get a free lip balm. My spam folder has been hit with two of their emails per day since our visit.
Our half day tour with Jeff was great! We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the island in a short period of time. Traveling with Jeff is like traveling with a dear friend who you just haven’t met yet.
Me and my family did the half day tour with Jeff. This was hands down the best tour We have been on he took us to alot of great location. He explained the history of the areas and the local foods. St Nicholas was so beautiful. When you come to Aruba make Jeff your first call to schedule a tour. I know me and my family definitely will Thanks again Jeff for such an amazing tour.
My tour guide was Jeff whose infectious love and passion for Aruba made the tour really special. I was impressed with his knowledge of local history, culture and traditions which was really useful when we visited the National Archives and the Museum. He is very knowledgeable about the Island and had lots of stories and anecdotes about places and people. It was a leisurely and well paced tour even though I had the good fortune of being the only client. Jeff was also kind to treat me to a local snack Johnny Cake which is a bun filled with cheese and chicken and was absolutely delicious washed down with a local drink called Mobi a type of fruit juice. Had an amazing experience at the Alta Vista church. Thank you Jeff for an amazing experience. Aruba is beautiful ❤️
Highly recommend if u want proper tour with proper local/ legend, jeff so informative,so passionate about aruba, his tour will suit your needs..👊👊😎😎
The half day tour with Jeff was amazing! My family, my partner, and I had a great time exploring the island. We loved getting to learn about Aruba and its culture and history from a native Aruban. We visited Museo Cas Tan Tin (a 20th century Aruban house turned museum), the Aloe Factory, the National Archives, a Donkey Sanctuary, a rum tasting(!!!), and stopped for pictures, pastechis, and beer! It really felt like Jeff made the tour unique and personal—and definitely better than a tour from a big company. Would recommend for first time visitors like us, or those who’ve been to Aruba before!
If you want to get an energetic tour of Aruba, this is the one to take! Jeff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely do this again!
Jeff’s tour of Aruba was excellent. Jeff knew so much about the history and culture! Instead of canceling our tour for only two people, Jeff gave us a great experience and private personalized tour. So professional!
What was my favorite part of the tour? Simply put, JEFF !!! Jeff was fantastic. He showed us the real Aruba, not just the tourist areas. Eat at Grote Berg!!!
The tour guide, Jeff was amazing! It was evident that he has genuine passion for what he does. He was cheerful, personable and kind. Thanks for a great experience Jeff!
Jeff was an absolute JOY to be around. His love and enthusiasm for his island of Aruba comes through in his every word. His tour shows the non-touristy areas as well as the highlights of the island. My wife and I are seasoned cruisers. We have been to over 50 ports with some great excursions and Jeff exceeds them all. He made my wife's birthday very special!!! We both agree that we would gladly tour with Jeff again!!! Joe and Julie C.
My husband and I booked Jeff’s tour during a cruise stop in Aruba. We had such a good time! Jeff knows everything about Aruba, and can answer ALL of your questions. I think he knows everyone, too! We learned so much about the real Aruba, and it made us want to go back.
This tour was great! He makes it your tour your way but has the best recommendations. He is a native Aruban and definitely knows and loves his island. We had a lot of fun with him and will do another tour next year and see different stuff! This was a private tour for just us. Lots of fun and laughs. Jeff you are a nice guy. Thanks for the fun day we had with you.
Jeff was on time and energetic. There was six of us for the tour. Jeff was born in Aruba and it showed throughout his tour. He was able to answer any and all questions. Throughout the tour people would yell to him to say hi. Unlike other tours we were not rushed when we stopped at any of the locations. He recommended a restaurant for us to eat dinner. We went to the restaurant the next night. The restaurant was called Peanuts. It was local dining with a local vibe. Jeff told us the food was good there and he was right. The food was fabulous and prices were reasonable just like he said. This is the second time we booked him and it will not be the last. When we planned this trip down here my wife and I were looking forward to seeing him and his tour again. He makes you feel like a real part of his family. I would recommend Jeff’s tour to anyone who is looking to have a great time.
