We did not stop at Table rock view spot, although it was clearly lister in itinerary! We saw the falls from boat for a few minutes and then just from a distance. Then useless and boring stops and tourist traps, instead of enjoying the falls. If I knew this, I would never book the trip and rather go alone by Flixbus. It had to be the best day of our holiday and I am angry now. For nearly 300 euro - bad experience. If the guide told us, we were supposed to run up to the falls and back, 2km there and back, we would do it even in the heat. But she did not. That is why I regret travelling to Canada at all.

Your unforgettable visit to Niagara Falls continues with a stop at the Whirlpool Rapids observation deck, where you’ll witness the Niagara River at its most intense. Watch as the water surges through the narrow gorge, creating powerful rapids and swirling currents that form one of the most impressive natural whirlpools in the world. This is a perfect photo stop and a chance to appreciate the incredible force of nature from a safe yet thrilling vantage point. Interpretive signs along the way provide fascinating insights into the geology and history of this dramatic site.
As we drive past Queenston Heights Park, you’ll pass a historic landmark that commemorates the Battle of Queenston Heights, a pivotal event during the War of 1812. This scenic park offers beautiful views of the Niagara River and is home to the Queenston Heights Monument, a towering tribute to Major General Isaac Brock, who lost his life during the battle. The monument stands as a symbol of Brock’s leadership and sacrifice in defending Upper Canada. The park also features beautiful walking trails, lush greenery, and is a great spot for those interested in Canadian military history and nature. Nestled along the scenic Niagara Parkway, the Floral Clock is one of Niagara Parks’ most beloved and photographed landmarks. This unique horticultural timepiece features a vibrant display made up of over 16,000 seasonal flowers and plants, which are meticulously arranged to create a beautiful and ever-changing design. The clock face spans 40 feet in diameter and is fully functional, with hands that actually tell time.
As we drive past the Niagara Power Generating Station, you’ll witness one of the world’s oldest and most significant hydroelectric power plants. Opened in 1922, this facility harnesses the immense power of the Niagara River to generate electricity for both Canada and the United States. It stands as a testament to the early use of renewable energy and the groundbreaking engineering that made it possible. While we won’t be stopping, you’ll have a chance to admire the station’s impressive structure and learn about its vital role in providing power to the region. The Niagara Power Generating Station is a key part of the area's history, and its continued operation highlights the importance of the Niagara River’s natural resources in shaping the region’s development.

This tour ticked all the right boxes. Easy pickup location and seamless boarding onto the cruise, the view point locations were excellent and we were given discount vouchers at the Maple Leaf store.
Crystal and Sam are the best! Us from the UK had a great day with these two. Crystal is very knowledgeable and Sam is a great driver. Throughly enjoyed the boat trip, that was the best part
The transportation to, the tour guide's insights, and the time spent at Niagara Falls was good. The whole excursion, however, was much longer than expected. The details estimated 9 hours, with a caveat that times were just an estimate. We were gone, however, for 11 hours, and they were felt hard. Part of it was traffic, but part of it also was spending more time at locations than originally stated (best example is we were told we would spend 15 minutes taking pictures at a scenic point, wound up being more like 40 minutes between the meeting time being extended, and other tour members choosing not to come back to the bus on time). Getting back two hours later than expected also ruined our dinner plans (which had been extremely flexible to begin with). Had we been given a more accurate timeline, the day wouldn't have ended on such a stressful note.
I am wondering why there isn't an option to select between the wine tasting and the Maple syrup tour. It would be great to decide when selecting the tour since not everyone drinks alcohol. Overall the tour was excellent along with our guide Javier. I wish we had the Maple syrup tasting tour in the end because the wine tasting end to the tour was a waste for us.
nice trip with a good guide and bus driver. There was time to not only see the waterfall, but also the lake and the winery
The scenery, the service; tour guides and drivers were excellent, the atmosphere, the places we stopped, the variety of the day.
Jay, the guide, was very nice. The visit to the falls is spectacular and there is enough time to enjoy every part of the journey.
The stop at the Maple syrup testing place. It was a rewarding experience. I had a great day so did my sister and my son.
We had the best driver and guide in one person and recommendations. Our Last stop was the Winery where we could taste 3 different wines (Red, White and the latest harvest like an icewine).
Very enjoyable day - the boat to niagara Falls, lunch, visiting the town niagara on the lake and the winery (a bit more time at winery would have been nice and a little more info about the winery itself). Our tour guide Peter made the day even more memorable.
What an utterly amazing trip this was! the falls, well themself are just beautiful. The photos do not tell what it really looks like. It was beautiful. We were in a smaller group which ended up being kind of nice, so we can whip through the sites even faster. The boat is not ready, so we did the falls walking behind. It was nice, but a bit damp. I guess better than the boat!!! The trip is long as there is traffic coming into the city, but the real highlight was the guide. She was the sweetest lady, and really knew her stuff. This overall was a great trip to Niagara Falls, not sure what else we could have done to make it better
We had John McKinnon as our guide he was very knowledgeable and funny we loved him. The only thing we wished was we had done the tour first before we did a bunch of other stuff. Because everything he talked about I said we did that we did that we did that and the guy that went over the falls twice and lived we saw at Ripley believe it or not. But we really enjoyed it and I would do again. Thank you.
I have been to Niagara before using a tour bus and I liked it coz the guide was informative and he kept us engaged from Toronto to Niagara. Now with this tour that I just did... The guide narrated a few things and was quiet for the most part. I wanted the narration coz I had a family member who had not had the experience and I thought it woukd be the same like before, but it wasn't. The ride was safe though. We got to niagara and we did the nort cruise... That was our ultimate... It was great. I would have loved to spend more time at niagara on the lake, but the guise wanted to leave by 3:30pm...so we had ro leave early. When booking, the website indicated that the tour included a wine tour, but we instead had a maple syrup tour.. Please update your website. Generally the tour was okay,it just needs a few improvements... And to provide correct information on the website
Poor communication with tour guide, they were 45 min late. Ticket was supposed to include winery with tastings and at last minute they canceled that/with no notification and gave us a maple syrup tasting. Very disappointed. Was refunded $5. Bus had poor air conditioning and we had to remind driver for a bottle of water. Never again will I use this tour. The Falls were beautiful and cruise included was excellent.
The tour was great, the tour company was not very communicative. When we booked we selected a pick up location from their list of hotels. Our hotel was not listed so we selected one nearby. Per the directions, I emailed the company to verify the pickup time and location with no response. The reservation indicated the hotel we had selected. I called them the day before the tour to get the pick up time to find that they had moved our pick up from our selected hotel to their default pick up because they had called the hotel and we were not guests there. The did this without notifying us. The tour itself was great. We did the boat and the walk along the falls. There was plenty of time to do both and to have lunch at the table rock center. Niagara-on-the-lake is a quaint little touristy town, and the best part of the winery was the ice wine which is a specialty to the region.
We got picked up by Walter in the designated address and time with a friendly welcome and he was amazing from start to finish - he was so knowledgable and friendly, for the entire day. There were 7 of us in the party and he catered to everyone’s needs - even down to small details like making sure the seating arrangements were rotated so I wasn’t in the very back of the car we drove in as I’m tall and it didn’t have much leg room! The whole day was just timed really well and there wasn’t any point where the stop of times felt like they dragged. The day went by very quick and we actually packed in a lot of things such as wine tasting, lunch, Niagara on lake with time to look in all the stores and the Niagara boat tour. I didn’t expect to go on the boat tour and did find this a bit confusing on the information provided - the boat operates into the end of November and only after that is the behind the falls substituted. My only criticism would be that I emailed in advance to ask to be picked up from our hotel but it wasn’t on the list of hotels they pick up at, so we had a short 10 minute walk to a designated pick up location and then had to go pick up some other guests who stayed in hotels with pick ups available - one of which was literally the hotel next to where we were staying at. I would’ve appreciated being picked up to save time and hassle wandering around a new city. Despite that minor fact, we had a lovely day and the value for money for a whole day excursion was brilliant, I’d recommend anyone do this.
Booked with Viator. Directions on where to pick up the tour were pretty straightforward (Strathcona Hotel on York) About 1hour 40 minutes drive out to niagara Straight on the boat trip which is absolutely amazing Then time to explore around Niagara before heading off for 30 minutes wine tasting then finishing up at niagara on the lake for a hour Our tour guide Michael Francis was very friendly knowledgeable & professional Would definitely recommend A very long day Got back in Toronto around 1900. But well worth it
We booked VIP Tours through Via Tours. Our coach driver Peter was an awesome host and narrator throughout the trip. It wasn't very expensive and is a must see when in South Ontario. The sheer naked power of the falls and the boat ride to them is a bucket list item.
So first up is the pick-up location... its not specific enough. Its on the square west of the hotel and south of the Tim Hortens. Then second is the point of not knowing which tour operator to look for... we had 'VIP tours', very comfortable though. After this.. its only awesome! Our tour guide was Kevin and he is really great. Giving information with a smile and humor as we go about the surroundings, but also very professional and helpful. Unique in his kind. So the boat in to the falls, do it! Its awesome and nothing I have ever experienced before. Its like your in one big wasmachine and still having a good time;). Ten if you booked a lunch its lunchtime, we didn't and got a quick burger to eat at the side of the falls. Trust me there are more then enough places to get (fast)food, for much less money than you'll pay for the pre-booked lunch. Also if you don't book the lunch, you'll have a hour to yourself and the falls instead of eating lunch... Up next is the city of Niagara on the lake. Highly commercial and touristy, didn't like it at all! Got myself a Starbucks and waited... After a short drive we got to the wine tasting. Tasting.. 2 types of real ICE wine and some information about it. It was nice to drink and fun walking around, but I have had better tastings. But after all I only went on the tour for the falls and really enjoyed my time! I recommend going, you will never forget it. Find this review helpful? The tour was very good. Kevin qreat and the bus driver (female - forget her name) was also terrific. The only part that I found a bit disappointing was the winery. There are so many really nice wineries and that one big pretty sterile and industrial. I don't drink, so can't comment on the wine, but the setting was a bit sterile.
Our tour guide, Kevin, was amazingly friendly and very genuine! He knew we were waiting for the tour and checked us in so we didn’t even have to search for which bus we needed to get on. The bus was comfortable and the narration was nice. The hornblower boat tour was incredible! We felt a bit rushed to walk around and grab lunch and souvenir shop but other than that, all around a great trip!
Although I offered the tour including Cruise, we cannot receive the cruise tickets. So we had to buy cruise ticket. After the cruise, the guide said it cause the miscommunication of you and tour guide. I heared by the tour guide that you will refund ticket fee. I won't change this rating until your refund complete.
They lied! They don’t pickup from hotels. They don’t answer the phone. They don’t call. They left at 8:30 instead of 9am departure listed. They left 3 couples/families stranded. They gave no refund.
We took the trip with in mid june and i am happy to share that it was amazing! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.. we had a great time..
The tour guide was a nice guy but the advertisement sounds way better than it actually is. First, there’s no actual wifi on the bus but yes it is temperature controlled. Second, If you’re travelling in April to Niagara Falls I would suggest putting off the tour because you can’t go on the boat cruise and take nice pictures because of the frozen ice on the water. (That’s the reason why I chose this tour because it was included) You’re probably better off renting a car, driving there and taking your time walking around and enjoying the city of Niagara. It’s a beautiful city with lots of sights, and shops to visit. It’s a better option than having only 1.5 hours to see the Falls and then having to go because you’re on a time restraint to go to other places.
Very nice tour! Guide Alex (a woman) was fantastic! Very driven and knowledgeable. Boat trip at the falls was quite an experience. The town of Niagara on the Lake is cute and very cozy. The wine tasting with icewine was also well organized. Alex organized another short quiz with questions about everything she told, with prizes, very dedicated guide, compliments to Grayline, this is a very good guide you hired! Also Sam the driver was very friendly. This tour is definitely worth it.
Muy buen tour, Peter fue muy amigable y siempre preocupándose por qué la pasáramos bien, hicimos varias paradas para observar bellos paisajes.
