Our tour guide was Garry and he was great. We paid extra for the Sheraton hotel lunch buffet and he made sure we had the best seats/ view in the place. He was punctual and informative. The falls were amazing. Be prepared to get soaked on the boat ride. They give you rain ponchos which will cover everything except your lower legs and feet. The trip was LONG. Prepare for a 2.5 hour drive there and back. Traffic in Toronto is no joke.
It was an amazing experience and everything was taken care of. Our tour guide was kind and funny and very knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to take care and assist where needed. Would definitely book again.
It was very interesting and had a low space ideal for seniors. Tour guide was excellent and was taking care of all the tourists. He was aware of all needs.
Be careful when booking , I thought I had booked services that I was told weren’t included in my booking, The tour title was not clear
Its a full day event, the drive to and from is around 3.5 hrs return, but is okay. Time seemed to go by, the tour is amazing and we'll worth the trip!
You will get very wet, despite the use of a poncho, but it will be worth it. This activity completes the experience of Niagara Falls!
Was a great experience. Bus was a bit late for pickup but it was out of his control. Our tour guide Johnny was AMAZING!!! Showed us so much stuff and so funny. Beautiful place and can’t wait to go back. Would def recommend the tour to friends and family. Met some great people on bus too from all over world.
We had a very enjoyable day with a wonderful tour guide. He was knowledgeable and extremely entertaining. Timings were ideal as we didn’t have to queue for any part of the tour.
We had the best day! Johnny our guide picked us up as scheduled. He was very informative and also a bit of a comedian. There was one passenger who was a little difficult to deal with but Johnny handled it very professionally. Niagara Falls was amazing. I would definitely recommend going on the boat.
Go with the early tour! Less traffic, and less waiting in line. Johnny, our tour guide was amazing! Lots of facts, funny stories, and fantastic tips to ensure a smooth and stressful free experiences. We loved our tour and Johnny ensured we were taken care off
Very well planned. Great experience. Great tour guide. He was very friendly, helpful and professional.
Day bus tour to Niagara Falls was great. Garry the tour bus driver was very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend taking a bus tour if you don’t want to drive yourself, price is very reasonable.
Garry our driver and guide was excellent, laid back but informative. That said he didn’t talk endlessly but made sure we didn’t miss anything or not know the history. One thing to note this says it includes lunch - it does not! There are options at Niagara but not especially nice ones, if I’d known I would have brought some food.
This tour can't be finished in the 9 hours they advise. Our group ended up cutting activity from the itinerary and still ended up returning at 7:30 PM. The hotel pickup area shouldn't include airport area hotels (Sheraton airport) because it adds almost an extra 45 minutes of traffic. We picked up the tour at the Front Street location. Told to be there at 7:50. Tour arrived at 8:15. It's a popular meeting spot so three other tour groups came and went. It's a little chaotic in front of that Starbucks. It felt like the tour was always running behind. And it ends up eating into any free time like getting dropped off with 40 minutes for lunch before trying to find your group again. Part of that is due to having a driver and guide combined so there's a constant wait for the guide to collect the bus and that adds so much time that feels wasted because it's really free time, it's spent sitting at a rendezvous point. If you can afford it, I would spend the extra money for a small group tour that isn't trying to serve so many different itineraries with one charter. The obligatory stop at the maple syrup tasting is another 40 minutes of dead tour time. Most of the group just ended sitting out front waiting because it was a 10 minute experience at most. In a nutshell, the tour is trying to do too much and by the end, it's just driving thru Niagara on the Lake in a rush to make up for so much wasted time earlier.
We had a good experience despite the rain which was a huge setback but there is nothing we can do about nature. However our tour guide and driver Anthony really tried to make the best of it. The boat ride of course was the highlight of the tour that was so much fun.
They changed the pickup location the day before so we had to travel 30 min instead of 5 min. The tour was supposed to be 9 hours but when we got on the bus the guide said it might be 11 or 12 hours. There was no set itinerary so we had to wait around for other guests participating in activities.
Our trip to Niagara Falls was absolutely amazing! Everything was well organized, and the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The views of the falls were breathtaking, and we made so many wonderful memories throughout the day. The guide Alp was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip even more enjoyable by sharing interesting facts and keeping everything on schedule. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It was a fantastic experience that we'll remember for a long time!
We enjoyed the day, got to see lots. Our tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable and entertaining..
Absolutely beautiful place, the tour company treated us well and we had a great time. Improvement is a longer time at Niagara on The Lake.
Good full tour to Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Four or five stops on the way there which adds a little time to the day but also allows for toilet breaks and it’s all very chilled. Our Driver and guide were a good comedy duo making a memorable day.
Everything goes smoothly. Good communication and request a pick up from your own hotel downtown Toronto via message. See if they can accommodate you. It made day trip to Niagara Falls so easy. Quick access and great lunch with superb views.
Alp’s was a great guide, very knowledgeable and fun! Showed us a bonus spot at the end of our day even. Thank you Alp!
This experience is a MUST! The Niagara falls feels surreal. The tour went very good, Garry, the tour guide was so professional and very friendly.
Very happy with this tour! We learned so many interesting facts about Niagara Falls, Canada, that we never would have discovered on our own. Gerry was an excellent tour guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. He took us to places and showed us things we would have completely missed if we had explored by ourselves. At the end of the tour, Gerry even offered to drop us off at our hotel, which was a thoughtful gesture that saved us both time and money. We highly recommend this tour!
I would NOT book this tour. This tour was meant to be max 9 hours but took over 12 in total … I know what you’re thinking, more bang for your buck but no, instead we wasted so much time sitting in the bus waiting due to last of the company/driver coordination and missed out on other things we wanted to experience were the timetable adhered. Due to the lack of coordination there were also experiences in the advertised itinerary that we never got to, and we got to the ‘buffet lunch’ ten minutes before it closed but were told by the guide to just ‘fill your plates up’ only to get back in the bus and have to wait over 30 minutes for others to get back on the bus. Would not recommend. This was highly unorganised. Viator only approved a 10% discount even though we missed the full experience and stops. Do not recommend
Awesome Experience! The Tour Guide (Gary) was very informative and Knowledgeable! Met people from various countries and backgrounds….The food was delicious
Terrible, they modified the itinerary and skip places that I pay to visit. All of this just because they didn’t want to go.
Scam. Advertised as all three, only includes one activity. Paid $329 for this a month in advance and see tickets for the same experience for $50 the day-of. So why did I paid $100 more per person for less? The booking company (zoom tours) was very unsympathetic and incredibly rude.
Great trip to Niagara Falls. Anthony was a good guide. He shared interesting information as we drove. The stops kept the drive interesting.
What a waste of a day. The bus was late to pick us up. Then two more stops. Then someone had a flight to catch so we had to cut stuff out of the trip. A group of 3 didn’t make it back on time so we had to wait for them. 11 hours total for 2.5 hours of Niagara Falls time. I had a rental car and should have e just driven the hour and a half each way. Waste of time. Waste of money
It’s a long day, so be prepared. The tour guide was friendly and tried to share some information along the way. The one downside was that there was a BlueJays game in Toronto that night, so we got back to the city 2 hours later than expected. It would have been good to know about that in advance so we could have planned accordingly. The Mercedes bus was cramped with four of us in the back row, but it worked and we had a lovely time at all the stops.
It was a great way to experience Niagra Falls and its popular spots! Our tour guide Johnny was organized and funny, which I think that's the most important!
The driver was good. He spoke here and there about facts. The arrival timing given by Viator was wrong and wrong by tour company. I was told to be picked up at 745 and Viator told me 820. I got there 730 amd waited an hour. Both were wrong. I just went to see the falls no boat or lunch so this title is misleading for the tour. I would've preferred being dropped off and told me back here at 2pm Instead we were dropped off for 45 so driver could go get the tickets for the other travelers. Fine but I didn't need to return for any tickets. If a person isnt doing the extras let them be on there way to explore. Nice day a little overcast but cleared up. We stopped 3 times for a picture of the flower clock and somewhere other photo opportunity. The last place Niagara on the Lake. Lots of shops and restaurants along both sides of the road. We were there about 45 min. Then the drive back. Lots of traffic. The driver has lead foot but I didnt mind. Van was nice , seats a little stiff and they don't reclin. It was cold going and warm on the return trip. The driver gave us a bottle of water and a reusable bag.
I am very disappointed in this experience. To start, I received emails of my start time at 8:10am and I arrived to pickup location at 8am but yet our driver left us. We had to wait an additional 30minutes to get picked up. The description shows a water included and we never received this. Every stop you make feels so rushed and it’s difficult to truly enjoy such a beautiful place. Also, I was extremely upset because on every booking confirmation it showed I had the boat, journey, and lunch included yet we get there and apparently only the boat tour was the selection. I paid nearly $150 per person just to have this terrible experience and I had to pay out of pocket because no matter all the inconvenience neither Viator or Zoom tours was willing to accommodate for all the trouble I went through. The posting of this experience is not accurate because I have multiple emails showing my itinerary and confirmation of what my experience entails. We didn’t get a lunch, rushed every spot, had to pay additional $50 for the journey and picked up late so this was very disappointing. I will not recommend this whatsoever and neither will I be booking with Viator. The postings are inaccurate and not clear.
My friends and I went to Niagra for a girls trip and had a great time. Our tour guide, Gary, was kind, funny, patient, and gave helpful tips at every stop. Our favorite part was definitely the boat tour that got us so close to the falls! We would've liked a bit more time to explore the shopping areas and to eat lunch, but overall very fun!!
The day was great except we didn't get the lunch we booked. These trips are sub-contracted out and the sub had no record of us having booked lunch. We wasted time waiting for lunch, time arguing about lunch then time looking elsewhere for lunch. It was quite embarrassing as people we were on the trip with did get their lunch. I did message Viator, perhaps predictably, they never responded to my message. This aside, the day was great. Niagara is superb and Niagara on the Lake is very pretty.
Hats off to our guide Garry for being efficient, friendly and professional. We had a great day visiting Niagara falls and the surrounding area.
We had an amazing day out Garry our driver/guide was brilliant, very friendly, helpful and informative. The boat trip on the falls and the journey behind the falls I would highly recommend. Niagara on the Falls town was beautiful and really worth a visit.
The tour was highly recommended by friends, but only about half lived up to expectations—the rest was a major disappointment. Despite multiple reminder texts and calls, the 8 AM pickup arrived at 8:40 AM. The oversized coach bus had a single person handling both driving and guiding, which proved overwhelming for them. We circled back at least five times to collect passengers who wanted to follow their own personalized agenda, causing us to completely miss Niagara-on-the-Lake town time, everything was closed by the time we passed through. Prior to that had a forced gift shop time that was a tourist trap/racket. Although the Falls and boat ride were amazing!! The poor organization, late start, and rushed itinerary ruined what should have been a highlight of the trip. I expected much better for the price and hype. Would not recommend.
First time at the Niagara Falls and this was well worth it. Johnny (tour guide) was awesome and very funny. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Niagara Falls.
Our tour guide Johnny was on time, knowledgeable and very entertaining. Our tour was midweek so everything went smoothly and pretty much no lines at any of the attractions. The buffet was alright with limited food options but you're really paying for the view of the falls. They don't really have hotel pickup or dropoff....just several locations around the city and airport. Overall, still a good tour
We were picked up at the time expected by driver/tour guide Johnny on time. We were quickly on our way to Niagra with Johnny giving the passengers the benefits of his experience and knowledge of Niagra , Toronto and everything in between. He was an entertainer as well as guide. The trip was more than expected and luckily we weren't kept waiting at any time at Niagra
We began with our pick up at the meeting point. We were told 8:45am pick up but decided to arrive at 8:30am. This was a good thing because our driver and other passengers were already there. From that point we hit the road. Gary was our driver who was great. He was informative and had a cool dry sense of humor. The ride was very smooth and Gary got us there on schedule. I would suggest everyone book this trip carefully because some people did not sign up for packages that they ended up wanting such as the behind the Falls journey. Gary told them to call Viator if they wanted to add the package so that worked out. Although this was a cloudy day the behind the Falls journey was great. It’s very wet so try to bring tissues or small towel to wipe off your phone between pictures. We then went on the boat tour which in my view was the most fun part of the tour. It’s 20 mins on the water but felt like 5 due to how fun it is. If you thought behind the Falls was wet, this drenches you. The boat bouncing while the wind and water hit you is an experience everyone should try. After this, we hit the Sheraton Falls hotel for a buffet lunch. At our arrival, a lot of the food was grinned down but staff brought out fresh hot replacements. The selections are a bit limited but the lunch still hits the spot. We then went to a maple syrup and chocolate making store and received maple syrup and chocolate samples. There are three types of syrups, gold, amber and dark. It was said if one preferred the dark syrup you are secretly Canadian, as that is their favorite (I preferred amber, it had a buttery taste). From there we did the floral clock photo shots and then the Niagara Falls strip where tons of stores and establishments are. You will also pass several farms as well as houses worth as much as 7 million CAD. We were eventually dropped off back at our meeting point capping off an 8 hour day. I advise giving your driver a tip if possible. Our driver made sure we were safe and got the most out of our trip!
The Niagra Falls tour is a must see and needs to be on your bucket list. It really is a sight to behold and an unforgettable experience as you ride the boat that literally takes you as close to the falls as you can get! We enjoyed a lovely buffet meal at the Sheraton overlooking the falls which was very enjoyable as well. Hopefully, you will be blessed enough to have Johnny be your tour guide. He was absolutely so knowledgeable and entertaining. He’s the best guide I’ve ever had. Sincerely, Alabama❤️🥰
This was a brilliant tour, made really special by our guide Jonny who was so friendly and knowledgeable, having been a tour guide for over 40 years. He shared many hilarious anecdotes which had the bus in stitches. Everything was well organised from the pick up to the drop off. The boat ride was spectacular as you would expect and lunch with a view was lovely. Sending a big thank you to Jonny, who made it a very special day out.
Our tour guide and bus driver, Johnny, was great. He was very knowledgeable, amusing, made the trip enjoyable. Beside him, the bus was comfortable, lunch overlooking the Falls was a very nice surprise. The boat trip near the Falls was well worth it, you can feel the power of fast moving water.
Excellent trip. Johnny a fantastic tour guide, very informative and entertaining. Don’t normally do this sort of experience, but would highly recommend.
Our guide, Jonny, was very knowledgeable in history of the area between Toronto and Niagra Falls. A great buffet lunch out and a walk around the town to take in the sights. We opted out of the extras of boat ride etc, but still had an interesting day out.
Zoom Tours picked up at various locations in Toronto and en route to Niagara, making sure that all people on their list were present before leaving. The tour guide, Jonny, was very informative and funny and he gave clear instructions about where to get the best views, when to join the boat trip and where to meet for lunch (fantastic vista from the restaurant at the Sheraton Hotel). It was good that we were given freedom to wander, in between bus rides, and we did not have to traipse around after a tour guide holding up an umbrella or clipboard. And the bottom line is that the Horseshoe Falls at Niagara are positively mesmerising. A most enjoyable day.
