Fantastic tour, until going we had no idea just how much there is to Toronto. Really enjoyed the tour, Charlotte was great and very friendly and approachable. Slight mix up with the starting location being wrong, but all okay.

What a fantastic tour! I have been to Toronto before and walked by myself many times, but decided to take a guided tour. It just happened that I was a solo participant with the best tour guide I could ever have. Rudyard was excellent at sharing his knowledge in detail regarding the historical buildings we visited. The tour was a good paced walk (about 10,000 steps), and enough stops to admire the architectural and beautiful structures. The buildings we visited were just like the description on the tour summary. The price is amazing, and if you love it, then a good tip is greatly deserved! I highly recommend this tour and my guide “Rudyard”,
Excellent tour. Have been to Toronto a few times but was really interesting to hear about parts I had no idea of. Merlin was a great guide who was really knowledgeable about the city.
Alex gave a very informative tour to our small group. We covered a lot of ground and I learned quite a bit. Definitely saw some parts of the city I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. I recommend this tour.
Fantastic tour, Artimis was a great guide!
Our guide Charlotte was wonderful. Signed up an hour before on Viator. Offering 10a and 2p tours most of the year.
I loved this tour it was well paced, fun and filled with known and unknown facts about the city. The tour guide was engaging and knowledgeable. He was very comfortable with sharing a lot of information with enthusiasm and excitement.
The guide was great. He had lots of stories about the city. He was very approachable. We could have include St Lawrence Market.
Excellent guide and and tour with Alex!! Very informative and fun. Thank you
Very informative and interesting tour! Artemis was very knowledgeable about the Toronto area. Tour was done at a good pace. Would highly recommend!
Andres was excellent. He knew his stuff and was enthusiastic throughout. The group was quite large (20) but he managed us all well. There was a short break after a couple of hours which was welcome.
Easy to find starting location. Great guide who was knowledgeable, loved the city and gave recommendations of places to eat and hints on seeing tourist attractions. Easy walking pace and flat. Enabled me to understand the layout of the City.
Excellent tour! Merlin was very engaging and informative.
Our guide was Artemis. She was very knowledgeable of the area and made the tour interesting & informative. Great activity to do at the beginning of a trip.
A wonderful introduction to Toronto - a great overview and amusing anecdotes. Easy walking, informative guide and well worth doing.
Merlin was an excellent guide. He was engaging, informative, funny, and gracious. He was extremely knowledgeable about the city, and appeared to enjoy doing the tour.
Alex was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the area and its history and open to questions.
Ariel our guide made it extra special Great conversation Great local knowledge Very pleasant to talk to Would highly recommend
The tour was great, the guide was very knowledgeable in the different locations and provided a lot of useful information on the various sites…
Tour was changed from AM to PM due to insufficient numbers. We therefore had to cancel our afternoon trip to be able to attend. Only in Ottowa 2 days so a shame we missed one of our organised tours
Enjoyable introduction to the city of Toronto. Travelling as a couple we joined a group of 15-20 people. Guide was personable and interacted well with the group.
This is a fascinating three hour walking tour with a friendly, knowedgeable guide. Ots a great way to learn about the city and its history.
Rainer was an engaging and knowledgeable guide. Very much enjoyed learning more about the history of Ottawa, and seeing many of its important (and beautiful) buildings.
Love Merlin ( tour guide) he is fun and his knowledge about history is amazing 3 hours with him goes by so fast hope to see him again next time 👍
Artemis was a fantastic guide! We have spent many, many months in Toronto over the last decade but this tour introduced us to sites we never would have found on our own. The dog fountain is whimsical and hearing its origin story was great fun! We knew some of the places (like the Old City Hall and Rogers Stadium) but Artemis pointed out things we never noticed on our own - like the grotesque gargoyles of city council members on the facade of the Old City Hall. Artemis knew her stuff and had a very engaging manner. Her voice even carried over city traffic . It was also very civilized to include a 15 minute washroom and snack break in the middle of our 10,000 step walk. The only suggestion I have is to indicate in the description of the walk that there are lots of stairs. This could be hard on participants with arthritis.
Great tour. Fantastic guide Merlin who did a great mix of historical, contemporary and his own personal experience. Both guide and guests were friendly which is great when you’re on your own.
What an incredible way to experience the city! Our three-hour walking tour with Merlin was fantastic from start to finish. We managed to rack up around 10,000 steps, but every single one was worth it! 👟😄 Merlin was an exceptional guide—friendly, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. He brought the history and sights to life with fascinating information and stories, and he was happy to answer all of our questions along the way. The pace was perfect, the tour was informative without ever feeling like a lecture, and having a knowledgeable local guide made such a difference. We saw so much more than we would have on our own and came away with a much better understanding and appreciation of the city. If you’re considering this tour, absolutely book it—and if you can request a guide, ask for Merlin. He made our experience memorable and was worth every one of those 10,000 steps! ⭐️👏👟
Merlin was fantastic! Even our local Canadian cousin learned things!
Had a great time with Merlin. He was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Small group and easily able to hear Merlin at every stop (unless a truck passed by).
Interesting tour with some hidden Toronto gems.
Charlotte was both knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable. We enjoyed an informative 3 hours tour of Toronto. We wished we had gone on our first rather thank our last day in the city as it was an excellent opportunity to orientate
The tour guide was great. I enjoyed the walking tour and I actually learned something about Toronto.
Good enjoyable around some of Toronto inner city. Rudgid ?? was easy to listen to &had some good stories to keep us entertained
There are no audio devices, if you are not beside the guide you cannot hear . In a group of 20 + radio audio devices, widely used in Europe, are needed . As a fellow Canadian I would like to see the guide to show more enthusiasm and pride in what is definitely a great city.
Very good walking tour with a very friendly and helpful guide.
This tour was super fun and very educational. Really got to know Toronto history better as well as current trends. Darren was the best guide we have had on any trip. He was fun, knowledgeable and very engaging. Thank you Darren for a great 3 hours!
Very interesting tour, we especially enjoyed the art installation in a hidden square we would certainly have missed. Artemis, our guide, brought Toronto past and present to life with a lively narrative. Thank you !
Excellent 3 hours learning a little about Toronto. Our host Charlotte was very informative and kept everyone engaged throughout. Great value for money and one we both highly recommend.
We really enjoyed the walk, Darren was an excellent guide He was fun and he had lots of interesting facts
Tristian did a great job taking us all over Montreal and giving us the history of the area also
Darren was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I feel like the three hours gave me good information about the area and culture and uniqueness! We loved it and highly recommend!
Alex was pleasant and informative. 25 folks in our group was quite large and can make it difficult to cover a lot of ground quickly. Also can be hard to hear unless right up front.
Great experience with Alex , had fun and enjoyment.
I really enjoyed the walk and it helped to have a good understanding of the city and learn good info to further explore the city by oneself
We took this tour on our first full day in Toronto and it was an excellent start. We learnt lots and were able to get oriented around the city. It’s about a 4 mile walk and the only downside for me was that the guide had long legs and walked a bit fast for me. He did say to tell him but I didn’t. It did mean I didn’t get the opportunity to take some photos near to the statues to commemorate First Nation people. That said, it was an excellent use of 3 hours and outside of the booking fee the suggested price per person was $30 CA. Which was fair. Probably.
Went on an evening tour. Great way to see some of the main central sights and learn about the history of the city
Wonderful unrushed tour of downtown Toronto with Alex. Very worthwhile and highly recommended!
Note- 30 CAD suggested tip which is reasonable # of people: ~25 people for a 10 AM tour Our tour guide, Darren, was excellent. He kept us engaged throughout the ~3 hour tour going through different neighborhoods giving us information while keeping it lighthearted with some jokes occasionally.
Darren was brilliant just the right mix of facts and fun. Learned so much about the city and great tips for visitors. He ensured the group gelled and chatted together. Stopped at perfect spots for restrooms, coffee and water. Great photo shoot at the City Hall. 3 hours flew by - we really loved it. thank you.
Darren was great as a tour guide. Lots of interesting places in downtown along with the history of each place. Very informative and Darren kept it lite and fun. Walk was about 9k steps but at a nice pace. Really good tour.
