Great tour...even for a local! Michelle, our tour operator was knowledgable and amazing and you wouldn't have been able to tell it was her first time!! Definitely worth it!
We had a fantastically informative tour with Jennifer, we learned a lot about the history of Toronto and the food! Amazing! Having never heard of peameal bacon, we were thrilled to eat it-delicious-and the butter tarts!! The flight of beer was a really interesting series of choices. Thank you so much!
Michelle was our guide and was very personable and knowledgeable. She slipped and said this was her first tour but you would never have known. She did a GREAT job. Was a fun tour.
Michelle was great. Happy to recommend if you want to try the Canadian go to foods!
Very interesting and informative. Jennifer was an awesome guide. Extremely knowledgeable
I really enjoyed this tour I did on my trip to Toronto. I learned so much about the history of the city and really appreciated my guide Jennifer’s attention to detail and passion. I had a great afternoon exploring Old Toronto with her and would recommend people to do this tour! The local food and drink offerings were great as well.
Jennifer did an incredible job showing me around Toronto, and they were so knowledgable about the city, the food, and more. 10/10. I had a great time getting to know the city alongside an expert. Plus, the food was great.
Jennifer was a great guide with insightful knowledge of Toronto. The walk was just the right amount of movement and stationary.
Jennifer was awesome, tour was great, lots of great info, learned a lot!
Very informative tour with Jenifer. Full of interesting facts & history of Toronto & Canada. The pea meal Bacon bun with honey mustard was lush ! Thanks Jenifer for a great afternoon!
Jennifer was an awesome tour guide and very knowlegable!
Jennifer is an amazing guide - funny, attentive and thoughtful! Really enjoyed learning about the events that shaped Old Town Toronto while enjoying the sights! The food was also amazing, will definitely come back for more of the peameal bacon sandwich and butter tart!
Loved the experience. Jennifer the guide really made Toronto's stories come to life!
What an awesome trip! Just the right amount of history combined with great Canadiana food. Loved it!
Jennifer was so knowledgeable and made the entire experience so fun! Loved learning about the history and enjoying the delicious treats at St. Lawrence Market.
Jennifer was an amazing guide for our small group! Both the historical commentary as well as the food experiences enriched us and our visit to Toronto. The food examples and their origin stories were fascinating.... ending with our visit to C'est What Brewing@The Market in the St.Lawrence Market! Nice way to end our afternoon with Jennifer!
Jennifer was a great guide! She took the time to fund out where we were all from and asked what about tours are of interest for us. I had not toured old town before, so it was nice to get some additional history about places that I have seen, but did not know. The peameal bacon sandwich was amazing and who can pass on a butter tart! Thanks again for a great afternoon.
Jennifer was great and it was very interesting
We had a fantastic time on the tour. It was the perfect mix of local history, interesting stories, and delicious food. Visiting all the food tastings were great, especially the peameal bacon sandwich and butter tart. The portions were generous, so definitely come hungry! Our guide, Jennifer, was amazing. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging throughout the tour. You could really tell she loves Toronto and enjoys sharing its history and hidden gems with visitors. She made everyone feel welcome and kept the experience fun from start to finish. I learned about the city's history and the stories behind some of its most iconic spots. I would highly recommend this tour to both visitors and locals looking to see Old Town from a different perspective. A great way to spend a few hours exploring the city!
Enjoyable day tour! Well paced, informative, and I loved the delicious treats included along the way. Our guide Jennifer was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Would love to take another day tour with Jennifer.
Jennifer is extremely knowledgeable. I learned so much, and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed that everything we tried had its own little history. Would recommend!
Jennifer was such a great guide! She was funny, engaging, knowledgeable, and attentive. Old Town Toronto was my old stomping ground in college, but I realized I knew very little about its history and quirks. It was great to learn so much more about the area! Toronto is such a fast-paced city; you blink and you miss everything. This tour felt like a chance to slow down, look around, and truly “stop and smell the roses.” Highly recommend!
Such a fun afternoon! Jennifer was a super knowledgeable guide and I learned a ton about the history of the area. Plus, I live for a butter tart. A great way to explore Old Town Toronto for a few hours.
Jennifer was really good, we love being with her in all the tour, i really recommend
My guide Jennifer is very active and positive, and despite of the barrier lenguaje she adapted to us and was very kind with us, i tjink the best part of the experience was interact with our guide.
Jennifer was a great guide! Enjoyed all the highlights and stories of the City
Enjoyed the walk thru Old Toronto with Jennifer. Poutine needs to be added to the itinerary.
We had a wonderful time with Jennifer as our guide. She was very knowledgeable of the area and the history of Old Town. She went above and beyond with a special stop for my love of coffee. Jennifer was very courteous, helpful, and patient with us. We would definitely do another tour with her.
It was a very good tour and a great way to see the markets and remet some goodies. Definitely skip lunch and come with an empty stomach because you get big sizes of food making it excellent value for money. Our guide Kieran was very patient and kind in spite of our group not being the easiest to deal with. I would recommend preparing for all the weather after all Canada seems to be famous for having four seasons in a day. Try food at many of the same places as Anthony Bourdain!
Great tour, guide was very knowledgeable about the city and it’s history sprinkled in with some tasty bites of unique Toronto food.
The tour was great. Joann, our tour guide, had a lot of knowledge about the history of Old Town Toronto. We had some tasty food tastings in the market. We also visited Mystic Muffin (great apple cake!) and took a tour of the old post office.
Joann was very knowledgeable on Toronto history. And recommended great dinner options at the end of the tour. Bring comfy shoes.
Kieran was an excellent guide. I learned a lot about Toronto and enjoyed some amazing beer while at it!
This tour combines a good bit of history of Toronto with a chance to visit a unique pub in Old Town and a local brewery in the Distillery District and sample a variety of Ontario beers. We also spent some time in St. Lawrence Market and learned so much about its history and present-day operations. I did this tour with my 20-year-old son, and he had a great time as well. Our guide, Dave, was perfect: well-versed in Toronto history, a true beer aficionado and, most importantly, a real pleasure to spend an afternoon with. We highly recommend this tour!
Kieran was an absolute delight to take a tour with. He was personable, knowledgeable, and recommended great beers. I do wish the beer tour had more stops as was many other beer tours I've taken in the past, but that's to no fault of Kieran who did their best to provide with company limitations. For the record, the beers you do get to sample are all great beers in their own rights.
Kieran was outstanding. The tour was the perfect mix of history and beer. We saw parts of the city that we would have never visited. We had a blast.
Had a great tour with Kieran! He was fun, knowledgeable, & we learned a lot about Toronto & its history. 2 excellent breweries for flights. Great stories as well. Highly recommend!!
We learned so much about the history of this part of Toronto from our guide. She took us to places and shared insights that we would have completely missed if not for our guide. Very personable and fun tour!
Dave was a welcoming and knowledgeable host, covering both beer and city facts. It was like walking the city with a friend who happens to know about history and brewing.
Royden adapted the tour very nicely, since I was the only one on the tour I got to give my I input in how the tour is structured, very knowledgeable and friendly. Great conversations!
Dave was our guide for we three couples from the US. He did a fantastic job in super hot and muggy weather. He kept us in the shade as much as possible. Interesting history of the city described in a very engaging and entertaining way. Loved the stop at the St Lawrence Market, would love it if there was a way to allow a few minutes for shopping. The stops for beer at two breweries were very much appreciated as the weather was so hot. We all enjoyed the Distillery District. Highly recommend.
I was lucky enough to be the only person on the Beer Tour! This meant Dave, my guide, and I had lots of time to chat about the history of the city, beer and sport. I'd actually already done a few other tours - which covered some of the topics Dave did - but he was able to add to it. So, it was a great balance! We went to two great bars - where I sampled 6 smaller beers - and it was a great warm up for the Maple Leafs Fanzone I attended in the evening. Thoroughly enjoyed it!!
We had a great time! Many laughs and opportunity to learn more about the city. Would recommend to anyone that is interested in learning more about the city and what locals like to do around Toronto! Our tour guide was very funny!
Enjoyed learning the proper method for tasting beer. Jason was a knowledgeable tour guide. We felt like there was a little too much time between tastings because of the Christmas Market, but enjoyed the 2 places we visited
Tour was super informational. Our guide Dave was super knowledgeable and easy going. I would definitely recommend this to friends or any first time travelers
Do not do business with this undependable company who displays no human courtesy whatsoever!! BEWARE!!
Jason was as knowledgeable as he was fun. I would recommend this tour to anyone! Thank you for a great day full of delicious beer, walking, and history.
We loved the beer tour, Jason was very knowledgeable and friendly. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves beer or if they just want to learn more about beer.
Fantastic experience Carlos had a great friendly personality. A great Knowledge of the city, the history and the beer recommendations were Fantastic. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
