Oh Canada Eh!? Ottawa Dinner Musical With Live Music And Comedy

This was an amazing show and truly Canadian dining experience ! We sang laughed and dined all night. It was such a wonderful celebration of everything Canadian. We shared this experience with family visiting from England and and it was such a memorable evening that we will never forget.

Be ready to participate in a wonderful, fun musical evening. Lot's of laughs by talented young folks whom you may see someday on a much grander scale. Great voices, antics and good clean fun. Suitable for all ages. A grand happy time.

This was second time to this show…it was amazing…food, comedians are amazing. I was just a bit disappointed to the fact that for the hockey portion of the presentation, you have chosen the Ottawa Sens and Toronto Maple Leaf and NO mention of the Habs when they are the team that has win the most stanley cups (24) They are the oldest hockey team that was created in 1909. The Habs is the oldest team in NHL. • Funded December 4, 1909…even before the NHL which was created in 1917 • The habs franchise has the most Stanley cups in history with 24 stanley cups. The Toronto Maple Leafs have won 13 Stanley Cups, while the current Ottawa Senators franchise has won 0 Stanley Cups. However, The original Ottawa Senators won 4 Stanley Cups after 1917 (in 1920, 1921, 1923, and 1927). Ice hockey was created in Canada, with its informal roots tracing back to early Indigenous stick-and-ball games and European field sports, while its formal organization and codification took place in Nova Scotia and Quebec during the 19th century. I think it would be interesting that this to intégrâtes in the show since hockey is our national sport …eh😉😉😉😉

We booked this after reading all the positive reviews, and we were looking for something fun to do during our two-night stay in Ottawa, travelling over from England, UK. We were not disappointed! The performers were all amazingly talented and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The food was also absolutely amazing, so a huge compliment to the kitchen team and chef as well. A definite must-do if you’re looking for something fun and memorable while visiting Ottawa. We’re so glad we booked it! 🇨🇦❤️

Delightful Musical Theatre. We were looked after well all night. Performances ,musicianship, and singing were excellent- the songs and script were put together carefully, giving you a great taste of Canada- lots of humour involved.Audience also involved in interacting- was fun. Meal of a number of courses was enjoyable and delivered promptly throughout the performance (generous amounts of food)- meal was accompanied with instrumental interludes- lady playing the fiddle was amazing- with all three musicians accompanying well. A thoroughly enjoyable night- anyone visiting Canada should make a booking to attend. Highly recommended.

Fun environment & venue! Very friendly & engaging staff & performers! Their singing, dance, & comedic talents were extraordinary for a dinner show; way beyond what we hoped for! Their talents are at the level we see when attending large scale musicals. We left smiling & feeling energized & full! The dinner was awesome & held a wide variety & drink prices were reasonable.

From the moment we walked into the venue and were welcomed at the door, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The staff was warm & welcoming, some also doubling up as the cast and servers, and we were very impressed with the efficiency at which the evening moved along. The meal was absolutely delicious, and the show encompassed what it means to truly be Canadian 🇨🇦 We loved the music and dancing, comedy and inclusivity. Great job to all! 👏👏👏 We will highly recommend this lovely evening! Bravo! ❤️

The food was great. The actors gave us a solid 2 hour show. Expect lots of action from the actors. Great music and comedy as well.

The dinner theatre was very entertaining! Come with an appetite, because you leave with a full stomach! Great food.

It’s very high energy, a little too long. The women’s voices can become screechy as they sing every song at full level. Need to lower the enthusiasm a little. Food very good. During the meal would have liked to be able to talk to people at our table. Would have appreciated quieter background music

My husband and I just loved this event . The Canadian music was awesome and the cast were very talented. I did not realize how many songs were written by Canadians. The atmosphere was cozy and fun. We were seated with other couples and we chatted amicably. We were served salad and starters first. Then they did half the show before serving the main. The main was just average food but the servers were the musicians and this made it all the more fun. I would highly recommend this event to anyone -native Ottawans or tourists.

This was just fun. What a terrific group of really talented musicians. We were thoroughly entertained. Loved all the audience participation gags. Dinner was very good and not rushed which we appreciated.

I had some friends from out of town and they dragged me here this week… I fully expected it to be completely cheesy and was not expecting to have a good time. While yes, it was a little bit cheesy, it was actually a lot of fun. The actors were great at engaging the audience and they worked tirelessly non-stop - singing, dancing and serving tables. The food was also much better than expected - the battered cod was excellent, and while the tourtières were not as good as my mother-in-laws (a very high bar), they were very good. I would highly recommend it for an evening out if you have non-Canadian out of town company.

The food was like homemade...lots of it and very good! The servers/entertainers were awesome. Good singers, energetic and super entertaining. We really had a great time and will definitely be going again in the future.

Performers do double duty as servers and dancers and singers. They work hard to give a lively performance in a family oriented show. Supper was OK . Actors engaging with audience and showcased many music Canadian artists.

We had a very fun evening! The talented group of musicians and dancers and the interaction with the audience made the evening for us! The food was served family style within your own booking group. There was plenty of variety and quantity to satisfy most any guests.

Very talented performers. Entertainment was great. Good music, good songs, great food. Audience involvement was fun. Meal was fantastic but main course was served very late. Everyone (especially children at our table). was pretty hungry. Not used to eating so late in the evening.

My sister and I enjoyed the Musical Oh Canada Eh! Food is mediocre. Food could be served when one arrives - just get salad and soup and then have to wait till performance is over for main course. You are eating very late. Coffee isn't piping hot. The performers sing their hearts out. Liam and the rest of the crew of performers are excellent.

My husband and I enjoy great musical theater, and this show did not disappoint! We were so impressed that the wait staff switched seamlessly into performance and back again. We enjoyed top-notch vocals, instrumentation, and dancing, with a lot of audience participation! Light design was perfect, and quick costume changes added to the fun. The family-style food was good too, and we enjoyed sharing a table with other patrons. I hope to see it again!

The music and singing was fun and lively. The performers were also the food and drink servers. Very energetic. The food and beverages were ok.

Visiting Canada from England for the first time we chose to visit Oh Canada -Eh? as we had seen it mentioned as a fun thing to do for a dinner show in Ottawa. We were not disappointed! We didn’t really know what to expect but it was great! What a cast of excellent singers, actors & customer focused servers! They did the lot! A local musical comedy theatre production of an excellent standard. Engaging, funny & top quality. The dinner is basic but good. We walked from our hotel - Marriott on Kent Street. The clever use of props & the excellent backing musicians along with the cast made it a wonderful, unique thing to do & very Canadian. Do go!

This production deserves a National Tour on a big stage…dinner is a must too! Never ever has Canada been better represented! I love this production and will continue to support its genuine talent and warmth.

So fun and interactive, anmd the humour was exceptional. Amazing music and talent. Was looking forward to a bit more music from the west but choices are what they are depending where the music has come from. If no music from the west, then perhaps dialogue can be part of it instead. We are proud prairie folks! The First Nations music was wonderful choices. funny, engaging and entertaining - plus learned some things i didn’t know about canada, along the way.

My dad, Brother, Niece, Nephew and Nieces boyfriend from Canada went with me and my 2 sons from California. The show and entertainers were so much fun!! I learned about songs that I didn’t even know were Canadian!! The food wasnt bad either!! I would definitely recommend!! So much fun!!

Wasn't sure how good this was going to be, based on mixed written reviews and asking people we knew. We were pleasantly surprised. The talent of these singers and musicians was fabulous. The humour was groan worthy. The dinner wasn't bad. Good, but not "wow" great. Our entertainers were also our servers, and there was always something going on on stage. When you arrive, you are seated and salad and buns are on your table. Pea soup comes next, and it was very good. Your meal is not served until about half way through (2000 hrs). All and all, a fun night out.

It was such a delightful experience. Dinner was delicious. The service and talent was lovely. And, I loved the audience interaction. I was bopping my head along to the music and was thoroughly entertained. I also learned a lot about Canada! Highly recommend!
